PICS: BIRDMAN GIVES LIL WAYNE $1 MILLION FOR HIS 29th BIRTHDAY.

Last night Cash Money Records CEO Birdman showed Lil Weezy how much he loved him in a million ways. The pint-size rapper was all smiles after receiving a million dollars in cash as a birthday present from his 'mentor' while celebrating his 29th birthday at Mansion in Miami, Florida. Must be nice. Akon (if you can find him in all that blackness) and DJ Khaled who were also in the building, looked on in amazement as Lil Wayne opened the Louis Vuitton briefcase full of brand new crisp one hundred dollar bills. A stunned party guest says, "Lil Wayne was left speechless. He was almost in tears when he hugged his friend. I mean, who wouldn't like $1 million as a birthday gift?" The Mansion bash was a lavish affair all round - one of the party's main attractions was an ice sculpture full of what else? Frozen $100 bills.

NEW PICS & VIDEO: ASHANTI'S 'GOOD, GOOD' VIDEO; NELLY'S 'BODY ON ME' VIDEO FT. AKON & ASHANTI + ASHANTI PICS FROM 3 EVENTS.

Earlier this week I posted pictures from Nelly's new video Body On Me featuring Akon and Ashanti. Body On Me is the official second single from Nelly's fifth studio album Brass Knuckles which is slated for release on August 19th.

Also released this week was Ashanti's video for her second official single, Good, Good from her fifth studio album The Declaration. When asked recently in an interview about rumors that she and Nelly were/are engaged to be married, Ashanti laughed out loud in that goofy-ass (I meant that in a nice way) voice of hers and said, "Nelly is a really good friend ..." After watching her new video, in which Nelly portrays her husband, I think she meant to say that the St. Louis rapper was a "really Good Good friend." Watch it below.

I've also gathered up images of Ashanti at three separate events. In the first set Ashanti and her mom/manager Tina Douglas attend Sephora's 10th anniversary celebration at Angel Orensanz Foundation in New York City on July 17th; in the second set Ashanti co-hosts alongside 106 & Park host Terrence J. on July 17th & July 18th; and in the last set of pics, we see Ashanti at the 2008 ESPY awards. The singer presented the the award for Best Championship Performance with actor Greg Kinnear. The show will air on ESPN AT 9PM on Sunday, July 20, 2008.

NEW PICS: NELLY, ASHANTI, AKON & MURPHY LEE ON THE SET OF NELLY'S NEW 'BODY ON ME' VIDEO.

Rapper Nelly, his boo Ashanti and Akon recently shot the video Body On Me from Nelly's new album Brass Knuckles at the Red Rock Casino Spa in Las Vegas. The video will premiere next Saturday, July 19, 2008 on FN MTV on MTV2 at 9:00 p.m. At this year's B.E.T. awards, Ashanti made us all aware of that 'good, good' she possesses. Well, let's hope that if she and Nelly ever performed this song live, Nelly's good, good won't cause her forget the lyrics.
