I know you will. Ladies, this is my last post until later on this evening. So what better way to end my morning (I've been up for over 24 hours straight as of this posting and I am tired with a capital "T") than with magazine excerpts and screen-saving worthy scans of Lamman Rucker in Black Hollywood News magazine's May issue? Yes, sir. In his cover story, Rucker discussed just how serious he takes his acting career, his status as Hollywood's (and beyond) newest sex symbol, why he wants everyone to know that there is more to him than 6'4 inches of pure, unadulterated, hardbodied...(ahem) masculine good looks...that there is more to him than meets the eye and whatnot. And for the umpteenth time, Lamman talks about his feelings for the beautiful Jill Scott.

LAMMAN ON THE CHALLENGES OF LANDING DIVERSE ROLES AS A BLACK ACTOR AND BEING TYPECAST: "It could go either way as a white actor. I think my challenge has been my look. Most of the actors you see look like little boys and girls. My look in my everyday life does not translate in my professional life. I don't meet the industry standards look. But, I also think at the same time, that has been my niche because you're not seeing as many African-Americans that look like me....No one likes to be typecast, but I like to believe that the attention I get is for my acting. At the end of the day, I can't complain." Bless his humble heart! Mama and Papa Rucker must be so proud! As for his relationship with Scott, well, upon entering the studio to conduct his interview, Rucker hightailed his ass to a stereo, popped in Jill's latest Grammy-award winning album The Real Thing: Words And Sounds Vol. 3 and pressed repeat on the song, My Love, 4 times throughout his interview...while singing the lyrics! When asked by the interviewer about whether or not he's dating Scott, Rucker laughed, blushed and then replied, 'You know the answer to that!' Finally, when Lamman refused to answer the other Jill questions with a simply 'yes' or 'no' answer, the interviewer drew up his or her own conclusion as a 'no.' Well, I damn sure don't know and right about now, I'm too damn tired to even begin to even think about...you know what? I can't even think no more.

I was in Chicago at a basketball game and I was performing, and he was on the floor with the basketball players, and I was performing all around the gym and all the basketball players were just looking at me, and R. Kelly was tapping on them like, 'Yo, who's that young girl? She's crazy!' And I was just rapping all hard and crazy. After I finished, they all gave me my props. He chose to stay really far away, because of the rumors and stuff like that, but he really showed his respect, and he's a classic Chester Molester. I got respect for that guy."

Last week Beyonce finally came forth and confirmed her marriage to Jay-Z, saying, "I don't deny it. I just don't talk about it. (Uh, can you explain that to Usher, please?) We have never talked about us and it has kind of protected our relationship. A lot of actresses that have had successful relationships don't talk about them, so neither do I. AFTER HOUSEFIRE, 50 CENT'S BABY MAMA SHANNIQUA TELLS THE PRESS TO TELL 50 TO 'CALL HIS SON!... A GOOD FATHER WOULD DO THAT!'

Amid a throng of reporters, 50 Cent's ex-girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins continued accusing the rapper of masterminding the fire that destroyed his Long Island home, where she stayed with two of her children - including the rapper's 10-year-old son, Marquise.The $2.4 million mansion has been at the center of a nasty legal battle between the two parties. The rap star has been trying to evict her from the house. She, in turn, countersued in Manhattan Supreme Court claiming she's entitled to half of 50's fortune. The blaze ignited just days after Tompkins' boyfriend and two of his friends got into a fight with 50's bodyguard at the Manhattan office of Tompkins' lawyer. Saturday, Tompkins returned to the scorched Dix Hills pad to retrieve some items – and reporters were there waiting. "Tell him to call his son!" Tompkins screamed at the press gathered outside the house. "He didn't even attempt to call his son to see how he was doing. A good father would do that!"

According to the New York Daily News, a 5-gallon gas container was found on the edge of the property hours after the fire erupted about 5 a.m. As previously reported, 50's rep denied that he had anything to do with the fire. The rapper was shooting a movie in Louisiana when it took place. 50 also issued a statement Friday expressing gratitude that his son escaped the fire. Tompkins had also been living at the house with her new boyfriend.

ANGELA BASSETT (MINI-PHOTOSPREAD) IN MONARCH MAGAZINE.

The beautiful and ageless actress/author/married-mother-of-two Angela Bassett graces the cover of the latest issue of Monarch magazine, respectively. While reading the article, I realized that there was nothing in it that we don't already know about her. However, there were a couple of lines that got my attention. Although it's no secret that Angela has portrayed several strong African-American women--real and fiction--(i.e. Dr. Betty Shabazz, Rosa Parks, 'Bernadine Harris'), did you all know that Ms. Bassett hasn't had to audition for any role--television or film--since making her triumphant and unforgettable Academy Award nominating performance as Anna Mae Bullock/Tina Turner in What's Love Got to Do with It? in 1992? Or that she beat out Robin Givens and Halle Berry for the starring role?

Bassett cites veteran actors such as Cicely Tyson, Ruby Dee, Bette Davie and Scat Man Caruthers as her past and present inspirations. When asked what she might be doing if not acting, she believes she would probably be a teacher. Bassett graduated with a Master of Fine Arts Degree from the Yale School of Drama in 1983. She is no longer waiting to exhale, but instead taking in every breath and letting it out with every hug she receives from her family, applause she gets from the audience and the excitement she has when choosing her next project. On September 19, 2008, Bassett will star in a film entitled Nothing But the Truth. Bassett plays the supportive editor-in-chief at a Washington, D.C. newspaper. The film is a political thriller about a D.C. reporter who rats out a CIA agent and is imprisoned for refusing to name her source. Pulled from a true story, the plot is sure to be a thrill ride, according to Monarch magazine.

B.E.T.'S 'COLLEGE HILL: VIRGIN ISLANDS' ALUM, WILLIE MACC TO CO-STAR IN NEW ROMANTIC COMEDY 'INCOMPLETE' WITH LAMMAN RUCKER.

Late last year, I told you all reality-star-turned-actor/comedian Willie Macc, best known as one of the co-eds on BET's College Hill: Virgin Island, was determine to go from a reality star to a movie star. Macc has joined the cast of Incomplete, a romantic comedy centered around two merging church choirs, one African American and one Latino which also stars Real Gossip 101's sweetheart Lamman Rucker. The reality TV star was due to graduate from the University of Virgin Islands on Saturday (May 31), and already he's racked up several acting gigs, including bit parts on TVs CSI and Journeyman. He also made a cameo in the feature film Meet the Spartans as a "yo mama" joke-cracking opponent of the Spartan army. He also appeared in the Cedric the Entertainer-directed Chicago Pulaski Jones. Incomplete, which begins shooting tomorrow (June 3) in Los Angeles, is a romantic comedy surrounding two choir directors – played by Rucker and the film's writer/director Aida Rodriquez – who fall in love despite their many differences. Tony Rock co-stars. Oh, Lord! LOL!

WILL SMITH DYING TO FILM A THIRD INSTALLMENT OF 'BAD BOYS' WITH MARTIN LAWRENCE.

Will Smith is itching to reunite with Bad Boy buddy Martin Lawrence to film a third installment of mega-blockbuster, Bad Boys. And I don't blame him one bit. Smith tackled Michael Bay, the director of the original Bad Boys movie as well as its sequel, Bad Boys 2 (which netted $273 million worldwide versus the $141 million from the original), before accepting his award MTV Movie Award for Best Male Performance for his movie I Am Legend on Sunday night. Smith told Bay, "We need Bad Boys 3. I was just watching Bad Boys 2. with my son and I told him you can't open a movie better. That's the best movie opening ever!" Yeah, that was a bomb-ass opening, but am I the only person who rewinds that inter-costal freeway pursuit scene at least 50-'leven times? I know I ain't! Bay teamed Smith and Lawrence for the first time in 1995 and then again in 2003. Smith and Lawrence went on to win the 2004 MTV Movie Award for Best On-Screen Team.

Upon accepting his I Am Legend award, Smith said, "I was on this stage in 1988, so to be here today in 2008... I haven't always made great movies, but I've been trying real hard." Ain't that the truth. Three words: Wild, Wild, West.

MO'NIQUE (& HER HAIRY ASS LEGS), LAILA ALI , HOLLY & SHONDRELLA AVERY @ THE 'GIRLZ IN THE HOOD WOMEN OF ACHIEVEMENT' AWARDS.

Actresses Mo'Nique, Shondrella Avery (UPN's One on One, Cuts), Holly Robinson-Peete and the still undefeated Super Middleweight Boxing Champion of the world, Laila Ali (24-0 record, with 21 knock-outs) all attended the Girlz in the Hood Women of Achievement Awards luncheon (presented by A Place Called Home) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles on Friday, May 30, 2008. Ali attended the luncheon with her second husband of nearly a year, former NFL player Curtis Conway and her stepdaughter, Leilani. Ali is currently six months pregnant with her first child (his fourth) and is due to give birth to a baby boy this fall.
