LIL WAYNE TO REV. AL SHARPTON: 'YOU'RE JUST ANOTHER DON KING WITH A PERM.'

Rapper Lil Wayne has lashed out at civil rights leader Revered Al Sharpton in the lyrics to a new song, branding the minister a "nobody". On the track Misunderstood from his new album Tha Carter III, the Lollipop hitmaker takes aim at the race activist, rapping: "You are nobody to me/You're just another Don King (boxing promoter) with a perm/Just a little more political/And that just means you a little more un-human/Than us humans.../F**k Al Sharpton and anyone like him."

But Sharpton insists he takes no offense to the slur, reported by AllHipHop.com - because he claims Lil Wayne has no credibility as a musician. He says, "While some of the rappers don't like the fact that Rev. Sharpton has been leading marches against the degradation of women in music, a Gallup (opinion) poll released last week revealed that Reverend Sharpton has a 50 percent approval rate among African-Americans. So why dignify a response to one rap artist who doesn't even say anything substantive?"

YING YANG TWINS TO VISIT THE DR. PHIL SHOW TO DISCUSS (OR DEFEND?) THE ISSUE OF WEARING SAGGY PANTS IN PUBLIC.

The issue of urban youth donning their sagging pants in public will be discussed before a nationwide audience. Community organization Hip Hop Government (www.hiphopgovernment.org) has expanded its "Pull 'Em Up" billboard campaign to additional cities in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex and is taking the campaign national. The organization's co-founders Jay Scroggins, Damon Wofford, and Chris Williams have been invited to appear on Dr. Phil's talk show, which will bring the anti-sagging campaign to a national audience when the show airs later this month. Dallas Deputy Pro Tem Mayor Dwaine Caraway, the Rev. Al Sharpton and rap duo Kaine and D-Roc of the Ying Yang twins will also make an appearance. I don't even think I want to watch that episode! LOL!

The featured guests were invited to discuss the controversial topic of whether government should regulate the way people wear their clothes and will also discuss hip hop artists accepting responsibility for the effect of their music and lyrics on the hip hop culture. "We are excited for the opportunity to address issues that concern our culture," expressed Williams. "Too often, when members of the hip hop community are in the media, it's for something negative. It feels good to know that we are being invited because we are recognized for our positive contributions to the community."

FROM HIS OWN MOUTH, JAY-Z SETS THE RECORD STRAIGHT RE: HIM MARRYING BEYONCE: SAYS, 'A WEDDING WILL BE SOONER THAN LATER...'

After the grand opening of his 40/40 nightclub in Las Vegas last Monday, mega-mogul Jay-Z, talked to Robin 'Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous' Leach and set the record straight regarding his soon-to-be wedding nuptials with longtime girlfriend-turned-fiancee, Beyonce Knowles. However, don't expect to see exclusive wedding photos of the most rumored to be married couple in celeb history in People, In Touch or Essence magazine. For six days, music mogul hip-hop star Jay-Z (real name Shawn Carter) and gorgeous galpal, Knowles held hands and were literally inseparable on their Vegas visit—but not only did he laughably deny recent rumors of a secret marriage in the French capital of Paris, he also told me that they wouldn’t tie the knot in Vegas this trip either!

“A wedding will be sooner rather than later, though,” he says, “but it will be kept a private serious celebration for our very closest family and friends. When it does happen, we’ll keep it very quiet. When we read these news reports about hiding tattoos under wedding rings, we laughed together and said, ‘uh huh, another wild one—put it with the other 80,000.’”

Guest attendee Rev. Al Sharpton has so much admiration for the couple, he's offered to marry them for free. "I told both of them that I would marry them pro bono—I won’t even charge a fee.”

To read Robin Leach's entire interview with Jay-Z as well as other celebrity attendees from the grand opening,
