KANYE WEST CREATES PUPPET SHOW, 'ALLIGATOR BOOTS' FOR COMEDY CENTRAL NETWORK.

Rapper Kanye West is developing a new puppet show project for Comedy Central Network. A 30-minute pilot for Alligator Boots, has already been shot. West teamed up with comedians Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Carolla's Jackhole Productions for the project, which has been described as hip-hop meets the Muppets. West and fellow executive producer Rhymefest will serve as musical directors on the show, which is scheduled to debut in 2009. According to Billboard.com, West hosts the pilot. Like The Muppet Show, the idea is to have a different celebrity guest host for every episode.

LIL WAYNE TO RELEASE HIS OWN DOCUMENTARY TITLED, 'THE NINO BROWN STORY.'; WATCH TRAILER.

Rapper Lil Wayne is gearing up to release a documentary DVD called The Nino Brown Story which charters his rise to fame as one of the greatest rapper's alive. The doc, set to hit stores on September 23, will also chronicle the much-publicized drama from his personal life and promises to give fans a never-before-seen glimpse into the rapper's often tumultuous world. The title for the film comes from the 1991 classic film New Jack City, a reference to the building owned by Nino Brown, the drug kingpin character played by Wesley Snipes and followed Brown's crew, 'The Cash Money Brothers.' If you're a true Lil Wayne fan, you'd know that lil dude makes constant references to the 1991 film in his lyrics. Aside from featuring uncensored footage following the rapper's travels throughout major U.S. cities such as Newark, Los Angeles, Philly and his native New Orleans, the documentary will also feature appearances from the other Mr. Carter, Jay-Z as well as Kanye West, Juelz Santana, Jae Millz, Freekey Zekey and Baby. The I Run This video shoot, Wayne’s Newark, NJ performance, and unreleased details about his NYC arrest have been added as special features.

KANYE WEST TO STAR IN HIS OWN REALITY SHOW ON HBO?

According to Entertainment Weekly, the folks over at HBO remain hell-bent on finding a way to showcase the talents of Kanye West. Long before the writers’ strike began last November, the network began discussing whether to team the rapper with executive producer Larry Charles (Curb Your Enthusiasm) for a yet-to-be-named, single-camera series that would follow the busy life of the Grammy-winning artist and his relationship with family and friends. One key insider says HBO is now looking for a writer — and some creative inspiration — before moving forward with the project: “We need to figure out how to capture Kanye in the right way.” Anything that allows him to gas on about his many talents should do the trick.

Hold up though. What they need writers for if this concept is basically a reality show peering into his personal and professional life as an artist? Looks like this is going to be another case of an unreal reality series.

Kanye and his big brother Jay-Z were spotted arriving separately at the Ithaca bar and restaurant after Jay-s gig at the M.E.N in Manchester, United Kingdom on July 20, 2008.

Kudos to Kanye. The rapper and MTV personality Sway Calloway will be featured in an MTV News special called Choose or Lose & Kanye West Present: Homecoming that spotlights the difficulties faced by three young veterans trying to re-adjust to life at home after serving duty in Iraq and Afghanistan. Those difficulties range from psychological problems to financial issues. Kanye and Sway actually help the vets by paying their bills or assisting them with tuition. "There are hundreds of veterans out there who are falling through the cracks. They make the ultimate sacrifices for us by laying down their lives, but it seems like a lot of them just get forgotten about," West said.

Choose or Lose & Kanye West Present: Homecoming will air on MTV next Monday, July 28, at 10 p.m. ET.

In the film Cage and Kilmer portray tough cops, with Xzibit playing a crime kingpin. Eva Mendes will also feature in the film, a remake of Abel Ferrara's 1992 movie, which starred Harvey Keitel as a corrupt cop who finds redemption through the Catholic church.
