BEYONCE FINALLY DISHES DETAILS OF HER WEDDING & MARRIAGE TO ESSENCE MAGAZINE + AUDIO CLIPS OF HER 2 NEW SINGLES.

Better savor it. This may be the one and only time Beyonce talks about her marriage to her husband of 6 months, Jay-Z, their private wedding, if they have decided to have children and of course her new album. BEYONCE ON MAINTAINING HER PRIVACY: "I feel that, especially now, with the Internet and paparazzi and camera phones, it's so difficult to maintain mystery. And that's so important. Even in a relationship, I feel like not being that accessible is really important. If you think about Prince or Michael Jackson, or any superstars, you couldn't see them when they got off their planes or when they got out of the pool and didn't comb their hair. It's great that people see we're not perfect. But it's almost impossible to have superstars now, because people will never get enough. And it's not even about my music. It's about all the things that people imagine about me in their minds. But I can't satisfy everyone. I know that Jay and I probably do inspire people. And I appreciate people feeling proud. But this is the only way I've been able to stay sane, so why would I start talking now? [Not speaking] controls your brand. It controls what you want to put out there and kind of forces people to talk about what you want them to talk about. We decide everything. My word is my word. What Jay and I have is real. It's not about interviews or getting the right photo op. It's real."

The folks over there at Essence must have caught Beyonce when she was in a good mood because Mrs. Carter eventually revealed details about her and Jay's private wedding. Beyoncé tells the magazine that the wedding was very small and intimate, because she's not a "traditional" woman and having it be "her day" wasn't something she needed. Being a star and walking the red carpet has diminished the need for that over the years. "It's been my day so many days already," she told the magazine. She didn't want an engagement ring because "people put too much emphasis on that. It's just material, and it's just silly to me," she said. While she wouldn't discuss how Hova proposed, or even if he proposed ("We've been together a long time. We always knew it would happen," is all she would offer), Beyoncé did reveal this: They plan to have kids. Someday. And perhaps as soon as after she puts out this album.

For those of you who ever wondered when and/or if you'd ever get a chance to hear American Idol winner Fantasia and former contestant turned Academy Award winner Jennifer Hudson on the same track, wonder no longer. And after listening to the duo's I'm His Only Woman, which is being referred to as the new millennium version of Brandy and Monica's 1998 Grammy award winning song The Boy Is Mine, I can honestly say it's been well worth the wait. TEAIRRA MARI ON BEING OUSTED FROM ROC-A-FELLA & THE SNIDE COMMENTS RIHANNA MADE ABOUT HER; THROWBACK PICS.

Former princess of Roc-a-Fella records, Teairra Mari is speaking out on her sudden oust from the Dynasty. The singer, who was just 16-years-old when she signed with Def Jam and now has a new record deal at Fo' Reel Entertainment/Interscope dished details on her relationship with Jay-Z and how she feels about him now, the Def Jam employee who she doesn't want to put on blast and last but not least Rihanna, who threw her under bus when Rhianna told Atlanta Peach magazine that karma played a huge role in her success in the music industry and Teairra's struggles after she was forced to take a backseat to Teairra Mari during the beginning of career with Def Jam. Rihanna said, 'I was not always treated in the best manner but I always remained who I was and I was always kind in the toughest situations. I was just the little Caribbean girl. You have to be good to people. I could very easily say it's all karma...God has favor on me and has blessed me, and I cannot even thank Him enough." And although the two ladies began their careers at Roc-a-Fella at the same time...most people (such as myself) speculated it would Teairra whose career would have blow-up-tuated into what Rhianna's career looks like right now. Boy, were we wrong. Teairra's first album, Roc-A-Fella Presents: Teairra Mari (which spawned the hit single Make Her Feel Good, was released in 2005 and while the album reached the #5 position on the Billboard 200 albums chart and #2 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts, just one year later Teairra would stop production in the middle of recording her second album, Second Round after being released from her Roc-a-Fella/Def Jam contract.

Mari is currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on her next as-yet-untitled album, slated for a late 2008/early 2009 release (listen to new her track titled No, No, No.), reports Billboard.com. The singer has been hired as the spokeswoman for Love's jeans line Jean Addicts, which bows officially in the fall. She also appears in the film Doorman, due later this year.

TEAIRRA ON RIHANNA'S COMMENTS & WHAT SHE'D SAY/DO TO HER IF SHE RAN INTO HER ON THE STREET: "I've never had anything but positive encounters with Rihanna, so when i read it, I was like, 'what the hell is she talking about?' I read it like a year ago and I was a little simpleminded at the time and I was ready to fight. But, now it's like it's nothing. It's a free country, so she can say what she wants to say, but I don't know what she's talking about, 'cause like I said, our encounters were always positive. We would see each other when we did things [for the label] together. We would speak and talk, and it was ll just really nice. There was never a problem. If there was an inside problem, then I never knew about it....I think she's growing as an artist. I think she's developed well. As a person, I mean I don't have anything negative to say, but those comments that she made about me, I don't agree with and I don't feel like she should have said that... [If I ran into her] I would say hi and ask her about the comments, because I want to know why she made them and from there it would depend on her response."

TEAIRRA ON HER RELATIONSHIP WITH JAY-Z: "It was great. When I first got signed I was 16. Jay-Z treated me like I was his daughter almost. Everything was great. That's why when everything happened it was a little shocking, 'cause it was like a family thing. I haven't heard from him since I've been away from Roc-A-Fella. My opinion of him today is probably the same as it was. As far as Jay-Z as an artist, I have nothing negative to say about him, he's the greatest. But, like I said, he was calling me his daughter and all that, that's what I thought it was because I respect his word...I haven't really spoken to him so it could be something else."

TEAIRRA ON HER OUST FROM DEF JAM AND WHERE SHE WAS WHEN SHE FOUND OUT SHE'D BEEN DROPPED: "Being that young, I think it was kind of a raw deal. I felt like they knew all about my situation, like how my relationship was with my mother. When I went to Def Jam, that was like my new found family. I trusted a lot of the people there, so when they just threw me off the boat with no life vest, I was like, 'damn, how they gonna do that to a girl my age?' I was in Detroit at my grandmother's and I was getting out of the shower and I got a call from Jay Brown and he just told me, 'You know, we're not going to be continuing on with you. We love you, you're young...' and there was a bunch of label talk, then he was just like, 'We're gonna let you go.' I was like, 'okay, bye' and that was it. I was thrown back into the cold streets and I was on my own. I kept it to myself for about six months. Then news about it started coming out on the radio. I stopped doing music for a year. My relationship with my mother was done. It's better now, but at the time it was done. The label had come in, divide and conquered and left. They got involved in my family situation and put a wedge between me and my mother. They would go to her and talk about me and come to me talking about her, not Jay in particular, but others who were in the situation."

TEAIRRA ON HER ISSUES WITH DEF JAM VP TRACEY WAPLES: "Well, me and Tracey had another personal problem. But I don't want to put anybody on blast. I will say we had another personal issue that I think had something to do with the situation (being dropped.) I'd rather not discuss that issue. Me and her once had a really good relationship. She was like a second mom to me and even though it's not the same now, I still have respect for her."

Who would've ever thought that Rihanna's career would blow up the way it did? Especially when you consider the fact that it was Jay-Z who personally crowned Teairra as the 'Princess of the Roc'leading folks to believe that that title alone would mean that she would be around for the long run and then some. Oh, well. Judging from the pics below, it looks like it was fun while it lasted.

RADIO HOST RICKEY SMILEY & HIS CREW REFER TO USHER'S WIFE AS CHEWBACA DURING SINGER'S INTERVIEW.

And yall all me mean. My referring to Tameka as an 'old walking negro spiritual' is absolutely nothing compared to what comedian/radio host Rickey Smiley and his morning crew's implication of her. Recently, Usher phoned in to plug his new album. While discussing it, a whirring Chewbaca-like sound could be heard in the background. When Usher asked, 'What's that noise?' Someone from Smiley's crew said, 'Oh, that's just Meek-Meek.' 'Meek-Meek' happens to be one of Tameka's many pet names folks on the Internet created. Anyhoo, the whirring sound could be heard at least three more times throughout the duration of Usher's four and a half minute interview.

My guess is either Usher caught on to their joke and chose to ignore it OR the quips about his wife resembling Chewbaca flew right over his head. And I'm not going to lie. Ever since Usher began running his mouth about their marriage, relationship or whatever, I have to say that after listening to that audio clip, this is the first (and hopefully last) time that I have truly felt both sorry and shameful for him. I really did. But I quickly got over it...So. Having said that, for all of you Tameka fans who send me hate mail, it would behoove you to forward those shits to Rickey Smiley and his crew's inbox instead. Please and thank you kindly.

REMY MA SPEAKS FROM JAIL: 'AIN'T NOTHING CHANGED BECAUSE I'M ON THE ISLAND....I'M STILL THE QUEEN OF NEW YORK.'

“Ya’ll already know, May 13 I’m in court. I need ya’ll to come out there and support. Just because 12 people say something, who weren't there, does not mean nothing. I'm not even mad at people. I'm mad at money or what lack of does to people. It's really sad. Ain't nothing changed, because I'm on the Island... (I'm) still the Queen of NY. Don't be mistaken about a jury that was not my peers. There was no tan (or) dark brown, Black - nothing - on that jury. It's a whole conspiracy against rappers right now so I already knew what it was."

--Imprisoned rapper Remy Ma in an interview with DJ Kay Slay from (Rikers Island) on why she expected the jury to return a guilty verdict, claiming they were biased against her skin color and chosen career path. The rapper, who is currently being locked down for 23 hours a day until her sentencing on May 13, 2008, faces up to 25 years behind bars after being convicted of shooting acquaintance Makeda Barnes Joseph in the abdomen following an argument over money outside a club in New York City.

Sandra, you crazy for this one! LOL! If I didn't know that this is an old picture, you may have gotten me...cause Lord knows I don't can't tell when a photo has been Photoshopped. But I must admit, the picture is still cute to look at even if it isn't real. For those of you who were fooled at first glance, the picture above was actually taken of the couple as they played a Nintendo Game Boy while attending the Smirnoff Ice Triple Black Lounge/swag room (where celebrities get a whole bunch of sh!t they don't need for free!) during the 3rd Annual BET Awards in Los Angeles in June 2003. Usher and Chilli broke up about six months after this pic was snapped. Oh, and the magazine they happen to be 'looking at together' is actually the May 2008 issue of Sister 2 Sister magazine with Chilli on the cover. In her cover story, Chilli dished details on her relationship with Usher as well as her upcoming solo debut album. It's been confirmed that the name of the new disc will be called Bi-Polar. Yeah, I know, it threw me for a loop too! But folks in her camp say the singer chose Bi-Polar because it basically serves as the theme behind the album's tracks. You know? Emotions all over the place and every which-a-way and whatnot. But remember, people: although the title is rather um....different, wait and listen to it before passing judgment. It could be fire. RAPPER REMY MA ENGAGED TO MARRY RAPPER PAPOOSE.

Papoose and Remy Ma will be man and wife this summer if all goes according to plan for the Hip-Hop couple, AllHipHop.com has learned. The pair is now formally engaged to be married, according to recent reports. Egypt of BET’s The Black Carpet confirmed the news with AllHipHop.com, saying that Remy Ma shared the exclusive with her. Egypt made the announcement on her highly rated television show last night (March 6). The strength of their relationship will certainly be tested, as jury selection has begun for Remy Ma’s trial for the alleged shooting of an acquaintance over money. The Grammy nominated rapper is accused of shooting a woman twice in the abdomen after leaving a party in Greenwich Village. Remy, 26, who allegedly accused Makeda Barnes-Joseph of stealing $2,000 from her purse, has pleaded not guilty to assault and related charges.

The pair will probably be using their superior lyrical abilities soon after another alleged assault occurred between Papoose and Fat Joe. Fat Joe and Papoose recently clashed in a physical altercation that has sparked an intense beef. Remy Ma, once a member of Fat Joe’s Terror Squad, has released several diss records towards her former counterpart.

NEW USHER ALBUM, 'HERE I STAND' TO BE RELEASED IN JUNE 2008; 1st SINGLE, 'LOVE IN THIS CLUB' GRABS #1 SPOT ON BILLBOARD CHARTS.

All of you Usher fans should bow down and be utterly thankful to that old walking negro spiritual he calls a wife (yeah, I said it) for finally giving him her permission to return to the studio to complete the follow-up to his history-making, 9x platinum-selling 2004 release Confessions which crowned Usher as the only R&B artist in Soundscan music history to sale more than 1 million copies in its first week. Usher spent 40 weeks in the No. 1 position on The Billboard Hot 100– which is more than any other male artist in the nearly 50 year history of the chart.

According to Usher's label, Laface/Zomba, the singer's fifth studio album titled Here I Stand (oh, and for those of you who don't know, Here I Stand is also the title of the song Usher wrote and performed for his bride at their second trip to the altar), is slated to be released worldwide this June. The album's first single, Love In This Club is dominating the music charts and making history as well. Soaring from #51 to #1 on Billboard's Pop Singles Chart, the song, which features rapper Young Jeezy and co-written by Usher, has become the best-selling digital song in the country. Entertainment Weekly calls it a 'must' listen, proclaiming that Usher "returns with his magnetic club groove."

The singer is now in the process of promoting his and Tameka's forthcoming album. Yeah, I said that too!

MOMENT OF TRUTH? JOHNNY GILL SAYS HE'D TAKE A LIE DETECTOR TEST TO PROVE HE'S NOT GAY.

Ask my best friend of 20+ years, Kamika, and she will tell you that me and Johnny Gill (who I've been crushing on since 1988) were supposed to have been married with three kids: two boys: an eight-year old and a six-year old; and a four-year old baby girl, respectively. So imagine my surprise when I found out that he knocked up a chic younger than my 26-year old baby sister. But I digress. Ronnie did the same thing, but again, I'll digress...at least for now. I've always considered Johnny a straight man and I always will, although I'm puzzled as to why he wears a damn nipple ring. Note to JG: that shit is not the business, son. Anywhoo, I said of all that to say this: when will he ever stop addressing the gay rumors surrounding him and his best friend, Eddie? And quite frankly, I'm tired of hearing them and I'm even more tired of hearing him defend himself against them. I'mma mess around and have a J.G. Heartbreak. And just when I thought I'd heard the last of it, at least for a while, I find out that he's again addressing the same rumors. Not only that, but he is also putting the smackdown regarding pesky rumors that claim he was the motivation that caused Eddie to break off his engagement to Tracey Edmonds.

In a radio interview with Doug Banks' syndicated radio show last Friday, denied both rumors and faulted the media for failing to check the facts. He seemed genuinely hurt that he's constantly being being referred to by the public as being more than just Eddie Murphy's running pal. The man who was supposed to be my future husband said it pained him dearly to have to hear about these gay rumors on a damn near daily basis. So much so, he's volunteered to take a lie detector test to prove there's not a gay bone in his body. In the words of 'Gina Waters Payne': 'You go, boy!!' Johnny told Banks', "There's not one person on this planet that could ever say they've seen Johnny Gill step outside of the rim or conducted himself as a man. I keep a stable," he said, explaining that he is not married and has women of all races.

If he's sincere about it, I think he should call up the folks at 'Moment of Truth' and become a contestant. You best believe the ratings from that one show alone will go through the roof.

Commenting on reports that Murphy's mother Lillian had bickered constantly with Edmonds' mother throughout the weekend, Gill said Mrs. Murphy was just expressing her belief that the actor was rushing into marriage so soon after the debacle with Scary Spice and amid ongoing issues with his first wife, Nicole. "Eddie has a great level of respect for his mother and his family, just like anybody," Gill told Banks. "And when Mommy finally decided to speak on it, she spoke on it after the ceremony – simply that she felt everything was moving too fast and it didn't feel right. She's not an actress and she was being honest with him." Gill also shed some light on what initially set off Lillian's tirade. "One of Tracey's guests said some things that were inappropriate that triggered everything with the mom, and that's how it all started," he said.

Sounds like Keyshia Cole has gained five more haters in the form of Diddy's platinum-selling girl group, Danity Kane. The girls recently made an appearance on Miss Jones Morning Show and didn't have a problem letting listeners know that not only can they not stand Cole, but that she's also a 'bitch.' Now, we all have heard just how much of a bitch Keyshia can be--onstage and off and how her attitude is reminiscent of Mary J. Blige when she first hit the scene back in 1992. And as Keyshia's voice, who can forget that God-awful live rendition of His Eye Is on the Sparrow (LISTEN HERE) that she attempted to perform (after being put on the spot and asked to sing at the last minute) last Easter Sunday at the City of Refuge Church in Gardena, California.

One must wonder how Diddy, who collaborated with Keyshia on his hit single, Last Night, feels about this statement. If Danity Kane is making claims that Keyshia can't sing, then what does that say about their boss' taste in R&B singers? Shit, what does it say about them since Diddy was the one who created them? While I'm pretty sure Keyshia isn't nowhere near worried about what five little girls--whose voices haven't been up to par from the very beginning and who only has one platinum album up under their belts--have to say about her, still doesn't change the fact that what they said over the airwaves was very unprofessional. I'd expect this kind of behavior from King Kong a.k.a. 50 Cent and Lil 'Weeded Out' Weezy. Until now, I considered those girls as classy women...with the exception of that Audrey girl...

Here's someone we haven't seen in a long time...well, at least I haven't. I still bump my Erykah Badu Live cd regularly. As a matter of fact, she's the reason why I enjoy listening to neo-soul today. I love her to the point where nothing she wears (hairstyles, wardrobe, henna tattoos, head scarfs/turbans) surprises me anymore. What other person you know can rock a mile-high, 70s-inspired afro (I wonder does she keep it moisturized with only juices and berries) and YSLs at the same time without looking loony (a la Lauryn Hill) as hell? FYI: Expect to see Erykah on an upcoming cover of Essence magazine. The singer will conduct a photoshoot for her featured cover story on January 25th and January 26th.
