DWAYNE WADE REVEALS REASON WHY HE HAS CHOSEN TO GO BALD; BALLER ALSO SUED FOR BREACH OF CONTRACT REGARDING HIS RESTAURANTS.

"For those of you who haven't checked out my latest video from Vegas, you're missing my new look. I've cut all my hair off. I've gone bald for the simple fact that I'm focused solely on basketball. I'm not concerning myself with waking up in the morning, brushing my hair trying to look pretty. I'm really focused on playing and bringing home the gold. Also, in China I'm not letting anybody cut my hair. If you're not my barber, it's not happening. The bald look will last me the next 30 days. My head looks good, but my body feels even better...."

--That's D-Wade commenting on why he has chosen to go bald. The All-Star is now in Beijing, China preparing to bring home the Olympic gold medal alongside his USA Olympic teammates Jason Kidd, Kobe Bryant, Lebron James, Chris Paul and Dwight Howard. Wade says he has pushed his body past it's limits in an effort to perform at his very best during the Olympic games.

In related news, Wade is facing a lawsuit for breach of contract from former partners Mark Rodberg and Richard von Houtman. Rodberg and von Houtman helped Wade open two restaurants last year and were planning a third, according to a story in Florida's Sun-Sentinel. But both D. Wade's Sports Grills shut down in the last couple of months and the plaintiffs are saying it's because Wade didn't fulfill his end of the deal by making the required marketing and promotional appearances on behalf the restaurants. Wade, however, is saying that he did meet his obligations and Rodberg and von Houtman , who are looking for $15,000 and attorney's fees, needed to slow their roll and let the restaurants marinate for a minute before expanding.

"If anything, Dwyane has a concern that the value of his name has been tarnished by ceasing operation of the restaurants," Steven Peretz, Wade's attorney, told the Sun Sentinel. "This is an instance where D. Wade called a timeout on the expectation of the restaurants. The pilot restaurants have not shown any record for success."

LEBRON JAMES TO MOTHER: 'SIT YO ASS DOWN!'; PAUL PIERCE: 'MY MOM WOULD'VE DONE THE SAME THING.'

There's nothing like the unconditional love of a mother who makes it her business to defend her child in any way, shape or form...even on a basketball court in a nationally-televised NBA game in front of thousands of b-ball fans, millions of at-home viewers and her son. LeBron James, the star of the Cleveland Cavaliers, told his mother, Gloria, to sit her "ass down" during Monday's playoff game. Gloria James got in the middle of a slight scuffle between her son LeBron and Boston Celtics forward Paul Pierce. During the second quarter of the playoff game, LeBron attempted to go up for a lay-up, but was grabbed by Pierce. The two ended up behind the basket as James tried to release himself from Pierce's grapple. A few fans stood up during the very slight altercation, including Gloria, who wagged her finger in Pierce's face before trying to break up the fight. Standing amongst men over a foot taller than her, LeBron looked over and told his mom, "Sit your ass down". The TNT cameras caught James mouthing the words to his mother. LeBron then walked on the court and gave Pierce a handshake to say he understood the hard foul and there were no hard feelings.

LeBron had her under control, though," Pierce said.There's a lot of outside distractions you're going to get at this point, and everybody's going to ask me what happened, so I figured I'd get all those questions out of the way right here." After James' team's 88-77 victory, James was asked to explain his harsh language, which made its way onto the Internet and cable news outlets. "I told her to sit down, in some language I shouldn't have used," James said after the game. "Thank God today wasn't Mother's Day. All I could think about is her. ... I know my mother. It's fine, we're good. Even though that is my mother, you can’t have fans going after players like that. The Commissioner doesn’t care if it is your mother or your kids or anybody, you can't allow fans and players to get involved like that. I can’t afford for my mom not to be at every last one of my games.

And there to help celebrate the grand opening was none other but the rap mogul's stunning girlfriend Beyonce Knowles. Bey arrived with her younger sister Solange and the two made for quite a sight on the red carpet. An onlooker said: "Beyonce and Solange lit up the room." The big man himself arrived in style, wearing a fitted three-piece suit with cool shades to complete the look. Reports had suggested the Las Vegas club may not be open in time for New Year's Eve due to licensing issues, but Jay-Z pulled out all the stops and made sure this year gets off with a bang. The night was capped off with a birthday song for Cleveland Cavaliers player, Lebron James.
