The following story is a classic case of when showing off goes terribly wrong. Last week, burglars (see photo above) broke into one of Floyd 'Money' Mayweather's Las Vegas homes and robbed him of over $7 million worth of jewelry. According to boxingscene.com, the thieves committed the 'smash and grab' on August 17th, between the hours of 7:00 and 9:00 pm by breaking into Mr. Mouth Almighty, Tongue Everlasting's bedroom window. Mayweather wasn't home at the time and apparently his security system, assuming he had one, obviously failed him. Since the break-in, his security personnel are said to be working around the clock in an effort to better protect the boxer's remaining personal property. On Tuesday, Mayweather issued a $100,000 cash reward for information leading to the return of his iced-out jewels. Callers could be eligible for an immediate cash reward of $100,000 and may remain anonymous.
Although no one has the right to break into anyone's home to take something that doesn't belong to them, Floyd had to have seen this coming in some shape or form sooner or later. What dense ass would place millions of dollars worth of bling in any place besides a safe....in a home where your bedroom is on the first floor? I mean, really. But then again, this is the same man who invited cameras into his home to film him counting and placing a million dollars in cash, which he retrieved from his nightstand drawer, into a black duffel bag...just so that he could post it on youtube (see video HERE) to boast and brag to people about how large he's living. And the thieves who made off with his baubles are probably just as dumb as he is. If they'd seen the video, they'd know to check the nightstand drawer first. Besides, what pawn shop is going to seriously consider giving these guys cold, hard cash that most likely will not amount to anything close to a million dollars.
