HALLE BERRY GIVES BIRTH TO A BABY GIRL.

Halle Berry has become the latest celebrity to give birth this year in what is being called the biggest celebrity baby boom ever. The 41-year-old actress and her 32-year-old boyfriend model Gabriel Aubry welcomed a 7 lb 4 oz baby girl around 10 a.m. Sunday (March 16) morning at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles. Halle's rep has confirmed to Us Weekly and People, saying Halle is "doing great." According to Star magazine, the actress had checked into the hospital for the second time that day after feeling contractions earlier Saturday morning. Reportedly, because her blood pressure was skyrocketing, everyone was a little tense. She's a diabetic so that was complicating matters as well. The doctors checked the fetal heart rate and everything seemed okay. After a while Halle's blood pressure came down. She wasn't dilating anymore so at around 2:45 pm they let her go home. Halle felt her contractions come on a lot more intensely later that night so she came back to the hospital at 11:00 pm Saturday night and gave birth Sunday morning. Sources claim Halle was overcome with emotion when she finally held her little girl. She said everything she had gone through was worth that moment. The tears kept coming as Halle didn't even want the nurses to take her baby to clean her up and measure. It was a truly beautiful scene.

Halle announced that she was three months pregnant in September, telling Oprah that she and Gabriel chose a delivery surprise because, 'We have a whole life[time] to know what it is. There's so few genuine surprises in life anymore -- why not have a huge surprise? I like fantasizing [that] one day it's a girl, one day it's a boy.'

Multi-platinum-selling artist, Janet Jackson says she is considering freezing her eggs so she never grows too old to become a mommy. The singer/actress, 41, fears she's leaving motherhood a little late and is pondering her options. During her appearance on The Tyra Banks Show on Tuesday (March 4), Jackson revealed she's willing to let science help her out, telling Banks, "I'll have kids some day... My doctor thinks about that, believe you me." This isn't the first time Janet mentioned freezing her eggs for future use. As previously reported, says she's fed up with family and friends' attempts to persuade her to have a baby - because she isn't ready to become a mother. Jackson says although she eventually wants to start a family with Dupri, she still isn't convinced she is mature enough to raise a child. "I just have to hurry up. I get so much pressure from people I don't even know and I think, 'My God, am I missing my moment?' Even my mother mentioned something to me the other day. But now you can have your eggs frozen and there are all sorts of things you can do. I've got to get a little more kid out of me first before I move on and be childish with my child."

When it comes to birthing babies and whatnot, Mariah Carey's outlook on raising a child mirrors Janet's...sort of. Carey says she has no plans to enter into motherhood anytime soon - because she still struggles to look after her puppy. The singer, 38, admits she cannot imagine starting a family at this point in her life, because she won't be able to dedicate her full attention to her offspring. She says, "Obviously, having a kid is a commitment for life. I really would have to be very, very positive that I was in a place where I could completely focus and put everything into the job of being someone's mommy, because it's hard enough to have a puppy." NEW PREGGY PICS OF KIMORA LEE SIMMONS?

Could Kimora have a little komodo in the oven? Judging from the following pictures of the model-turned-fashion mogul's physical appearance at the Market America Leadership School from this past weekend, one could easily assume so. As you all can see, her face has gotten much fuller and a small baby bump a la Jennifer Lopez is clearly evident. The baby boom is taking over the entertainment industry something fierce in 2008. Other celebs due to give birth this year include: Halle Berry, Jessica Alba, Gwen Stefani, Angelina Jolie, Britney Spears little sister, Jamie Lynn, Jennifer Lopez, Paula Patton and more. And if you're wondering if Kimora's alleged pregnancy was unplanned, guess again. Last November, she made a very special request to Mr. Santa Claus asking him to bless her with a new baby with her new boo, Djimon Honsou. Looks like her special request was answered.

Pregnant actress Halle Berry is devastated after learning boyfriend Gabriel Aubry plans to remain in New York following the birth of their first child next year (08). The Oscar-winner, who is five months pregnant, planned to raise the tot at her home in Los Angeles - but her French Canadian partner of two years reportedly wants to reside on America's east coast to further his modeling career. A source says, "She's been shocked by the news. Halle had always assumed Gabriel would move to the west coast so they could live together as one happy family. If Gabriel stays in New York, it'll mean long separations. She knows their relationship won't survive and has been begging him to change his mind."

But the 41-year-old actress is determined her baby will not experience the distant relationship she had with her own father. The source adds, "Halle hardly knew her own dad and they were still estranged at the time of his death, so she's desperate for her daughter to have a father she sees regularly."

Amd of what I heard is true, Halle is making the necessary moves in order to relocate from sunny Cali to the Big Apple. In the photos below, snapped back in early October, the mommy-to-be was spotted in the Tribeca area of New York City in searching for a home. If you ask me, it looks like Halle has no problem with supporting her man/baby daddy as well as his wish to elevate his modeling career and whatnot. That's just my opinion. Bronx-bred beauty Jennifer Lopez is taking a break from her singing and acting career after a recent health scare alerted the star to the dangers of a miscarriage. The 38-year-old - who confirmed her pregnancy last week - was taken to a hospital after noticing spots of blood in her urine - and was ordered by her doctor to cut back on all strenuous activities. Lopez - who is rumored to be expecting twins - has been traveling around America to promote her latest album, Brave, and has just completed a U.S. tour with her husband Marc Anthony.

A source close to the star says, "She's petrified that something could go wrong (with her pregnancy). (The hospital visit) really shook her up. If she lost the babies, her life would be shattered." And the singer's doctor isn't the only concerned party - her mother, Guadalupe, has been trying for months to get her daughter to slow down. The insider adds, "Her mum's constantly been on the phone, telling her to calm down. Guadalupe's very no-nonsense and she's told Jen that she needs to take some time out of the limelight to enjoy her pregnancy and her babies when they arrive."

Singer Christina Aguilera has held a blue-themed shower for her baby at her Los Angeles home, according to reports. People magazine reports that the 26-year-old star welcomed friends and family to the gift-giving ceremony in Beverley Hills over the weekend. The Grammy-winning artist cooed over presents such as blue socks and shirts for the child, a bassinet with blue bedding materials and matching diaper-changing equipment for the little tot, according to a source.

Over the past few weeks there had been intense speculation about whether Aguilera and fellow singer Jennifer Lopez were pregnant. Both have confirmed that they are expecting children and tabloid speculation has now moved onto the gender of their forthcoming bundles of joy. Last week, Aguilera told Glamour magazine that she was expecting a child with music producer Jordan Bratman. The couple have been married since November 2005.

RECENT WARDROBE MALFUNCTION FORCES JENNIFER LOPEZ & HER HUBBY TO ANNOUNCE THE OBVIOUS.

Well, it's about time. Looks like a wardrobe malfunction may have forced Jennifer Lopez and Lil Man a.k.a. Marc Anthony to fess up and admit the obvious.

After repeatedly denying rumors that his wife is pregnant, Anthony and his bodacious boriqua from the Bronx, Lopez will allegedly announce to the world that they are expecting their first child together. Sources say the confirmation will be made Sunday night during the couple's concert at Madison Square Garden in New York City. However long Lopez thought she could deny her pregnancy is beyond me. I've NEVER seen her wear so many ugly-ass, unrevealing outfits during any of her performances until now. The 38-year-old actress-and-singer accidentally revealed what appeared to be a protruding baby bump while performing on stage in Connecticut on last Wednesday night. One concertgoer said: "A fan blew the side of her maternity top all the way up for a moment, and a definitive baby bump was there. She was very quick to push down her top. Then she talked about how this year is full of firsts for her and every so often her top would fly up and you would see her belly."

The child will be Lopez's first and her husband Anthony's fourth. He has three kids from previous relationships.

In the meantime, Lopez may have something in common with Kim Porter, the ex-girlfriend of Lopez's former ex-boyfriend Sean 'Diddy' Combs. TMZ.com is reporting sources have confirmed to them that J. Lo pregnant...with twins. Only time will tell...unless Jen and Marc the mini-man tell first.

Richie continued to chew the fat with Diane during her interview on Good Morning America" and insisted that she put on a whole TEN pounds since she became pregnant, and claimed that she'd be fine with gaining "forty or fifty" pounds if she had to for the baby. She also said that she hasn't taken any drugs or drink since she found out she's carrying.
