Word around the web is that Dumb-Dumb Diddy has chosen to make an honest woman/child out of his Bad Boy Records artist and spokesmodel for his Sean John Women's line, Cassie 'Can't Sell' Ventura, by proposing marriage, according to Star Magazine. FALSE. The publication reported that the rapper let slip the big news to friends at his son Justin's recent eighth grade graduation party. But Combs' representative has refuted the allegations, telling People.com, "Contrary to tabloid reports, there is no engagement. This was a complete fabrication." Cassie, who has long been rumored to be romantically involved with Combs, recently insisted their relationship is purely platonic. She said: "We are not together, but we are definitely friends. We work hard together, so it makes a good combo." Combs met 17-years-younger Cassie after signing her up to his label in 2006.

Too much drama. Let's just hope that one day his baby mama/on-again-off-again-on-again-off-again longtime girlfriend Kim Porter finally wises up and conjures up enough self-esteem to refuse to marry Diddy even if her life depended on it and just leave him alone for good.

Luke Campbell, the Godfather of southern-style bass and booty music and founder of Miami's notorious rap group the 2 Live Crew, is now off the market. Campbell wifed up his longtime fiancee, 27-year-old Kristin Thompson last Saturday in Dallas, Texas. Campbell tells People.com, "I waited 47 years to find a special woman and have found that in Kristin. I never knew that I could feel love on another level like this until I met her, and I am now honored to call her my wife." Over 300 guest attended the ceremony which was followed by a reception at the Opus Grand Ballroom at Hotel Palomar. Beatbox master extraordinaire Doug E. Fresh deejayed and performed, while such guests as Arizona Cardinal Edgerrin James remained on the dance floor until the early morning. Soul singer Betty Wright serenaded the happy couple. Their first dance was to Brian McKnight's Back At One.

Thompson, who serves as general counsel for Campbell's company Luke Entertainment, met Campbell at Jerry's Deli in Miami Beach two years ago. He proposed to her on Halloween last year. This is the first marriage for both. Campbell has two children from a previous relationship. The wedding will be featured on the season finale of Luke's Parental Advisory in September. VH1 will premiere the series on Aug. 4 at 10:30 p.m.

Mrs. Cannon-Carey is hitting back at rumors that her marriage to actor Nick Cannon is fizzing out due to the diva's controlling behavior. "It's good," she tells MTV News of their marriage. "Life is beautiful, and things are going well." Since wedding Cannon in April, she says she has heard people say "things are rocky and hazy and messed up" between them. "I'm like, 'Why would we have gotten married?'" says Carey, who is planning to tour in November. But that's not all. Earlier this week, rumors ran amok suggesting Cannon is going broke trying to keep up with his wifey's ultra-fabulous and ultra-expensive lifestyle. An article in the National Enquirer claimed that Cannon has been buying Carey lavish gifts in order to change people's perceptions of him. One source told the tabloid: "Nick's sensitive about being perceived as a kept man, so he's going out of his way to indulge Mariah with lavish gifts and expensive dinners. And the bottom line is that he just doesn't have the kind of money she has. It's starting to stress him out. Nick is also said to be worried new career opportunities he is being offered are not genuine. It hurts him when people use him to get to Mariah. Or worse, think of him as Mr. Carey."

Carey says, "People are going to say what they say, but what would be the purpose? I guess other people do those things for a purpose, but I don't know. I'm ecstatic, so be ecstatic with me!" she adds. "Be happy with me. Can we celebrate?"

Lil Kim and Yung Joc got folks wondering if they're doing more than clubbing it up together. Last week rumors hit the urban blogosphere like a bolt of lightning after pictures of the alleged couple arriving together, partying it up up-close-and-personal and leaving Lil Kim's 33rd birthday party together at a club in Charlotte, North Carolina. However, according to hiphopchronicles.com, during a visit at Greensboro, North Carolina's 102 Jamz radio station, the rapper put those rumors to rest insisting he and Kim's relationship is strictly on a platonic 'brother/sister-type' level insisting they have no kind of physical relationship whatsoever. As a matter of fact, expect to hear Yung on a couple of tracks off of Lil Kim's latest album; also be on the lookout for a hot new track from Yung's new album Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood on which Kim is featured.

KANYE SQUASHES ANGER MANAGEMENT CLASS RUMORS; SNAGS NEW FOOTWEAR LINE WITH LOUIS VUITTON.

Rapper Kanye West has denied he is going to be enrolling in anger management classes - slamming the media for "making up lies" about him. The outspoken multi-platinum star has made several public outbursts in the past - and it was recently rumored that his representatives were urging him to seek professional help for his "mood swings". But West has hit back at the reports, insisting the stories were untrue. He writes on his official website,

"Do y'all remember when people said my fiance was pregnant? I'm just using that as an example of how people make up stuff and everybody runs with it. I had my own family asking me about that. Now the media is saying I'm going to anger management something or 'nother. I have never had any conversations about anger management. If anything, I need anger enhancement!! I get off the plane in Hawaii today and the world is saying my management team said blah blah blah...SIIIIIIGGGHHHH! I told the media you can't make up lies about me because I have a media outlet myself. If there's anything I wanna say I'll say right here on my own blog."

In the meantime and in between time, betcha didn't see this coming: West has teamed up with his favorite designer Louis Vuitton to launch a men's footwear range. West has been nicknamed the "Louis Vuitton Don" for his love of the high-end brand, and has even namechecked it in songs like Gold Digger. And now the LV Don is designing a line of shoes, named Kanye for LV, for the fashion giant. The collection is due to be unveiled this fall (2008). West has also revealed plans for a women's wear line later this year (08).

REAL OR RUMOR: TRACEY EDMONDS & DIDDY NEWEST CELEBRITY COUPLE?

Both Sean "Diddy" Combs and Tracey Edmonds are denying reports in a UK newspaper that they have been secretly dating. U.K.'s Daily Mail even quoted Edmonds as saying: "Diddy is the funniest man I ever met" and that she's "so lucky to find someone so soon after Eddie." She was also quoted as saying that Diddy is more of a man than Murphy, whom she broke up with in January. "Tracey Edmonds never uttered the words quoted in the [tabloid]," her rep tells People magazine in a statement calling the Daily Mail story "a complete fabrication.”

Diddy tells E! News: "There's nothing between me and Tracey - and Eddie and I are old friends." Diddy split from on-off girlfriend Kim Porter, the mother of his baby twin girls, last year (08). The couple has recently been romantically linked again.

Beyonce's former background singer, Kelly Rowland has laughed off reports that her 'sister' is pregnant, insisting her former Destiny's Child bandmate would be "mad" if she heard the latest rumors. Reports Knowles is expecting surfaced online last month (April 2008), just days after her secret New York wedding to longtime boyfriend Jay-Z. The newlyweds have so far refused to confirm they have become husband and wife, let alone address the pregnancy rumors, but Rowland, who was a guest at their nuptials, insists Knowles is not about to enter motherhood. However, Rowland has also continued to dodge questions about the widely reported wedding, saying: "Everybody keeps talking about this wedding that supposedly happened. That's a question that you'd have to ask her!"

If you thought you were going to catch a weekly glimpse into the private and personal world of Jennifer Lopez's marriage to her hubby Marc Anthony and their newborn twins, Max and Emme in the form of a new untitled TLC reality show, think again. According to Lopez's pr people, the Latin beauty's new TLC show will focus on her latest business venture, not about her life as a new mother of twins and marriage to Marc Anthony as previous reports have suggested. “The recent show Jennifer Lopez plans to produce for TLC is not a reality show,” says her manager, Simon Fields. “It’s a show that will track the creation, production and eventual launch of a new fragrance. Jennifer will appear in a creative, entrepreneurial capacity and will absolutely not feature her children and family life,” Fields says, according to People.com.

There is no broadcast date set for the show, but Fields says it will premiere later this year.

WOMAN ACCUSES CHRIS TUCKER OF BEING A DEADBEAT DAD TO HER 2-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER.

According to the National Enquirer, actor/comedian Chris Tucker is facing a legal battle with a woman who claims he is the "deadbeat father' of her two-year-old daughter. Gail Webb is demanding child support payments from the 35-year-old comedian, claiming the pair dated for years before he disappeared as soon as they discovered she was pregnant with little Krista Jane. She says, "I just want help with Krista and want her to know her father. If Chris Tucker wants to go to court, I welcome the opportunity to show the world what a big liar - and deadbeat father - he really is." But the Rush Hour star maintains he has never even met his accuser. His representative tells the National Enquirer, "Chris has never met or had a child with Gail Webb. And he has never seen the court papers."

Okay, so this must mean either someone's head is crammed with craziness or someone needs to invest in a paternity test to prove to that other someone whose mind in crammed with crazy that she is indeed stuck on stupid.

ASHANTI DENIES NEW VIDEO, 'WAY THAT I LOVE YOU' IS A WARNING OF CAUTION TO NELLY.

There's no truth whatsoever to the rumors suggesting Ashanti's new music video, Way That I Love You serves as a warning to her rapper boyfriend of 5 years, Nelly. The R&B singer. In the video, Ashanti is seen wielding a knife and seeking revenge on a cheating ex-lover. But Ashanti--who refuses to confirm her longterm relationship to Nelly--insists the track isn't aimed at him. She tells People.com, "It's not! I wrote that record last summer... The song is just about real life. It's for every woman who has gone through it. It's a rude awakening when you get used to being happy, but it's a part of life. I didn't kill the person!" However, she does confess to doing some investigating of her own on a previous partner she suspected of infidelity: "Of course I've snooped! Before (Sidekick pagers) came out, I was snooping through regular cell phones, everything! Whatever he had out, I was all in it!"

And she is still remaining coy over her rumored relationship with Nelly, saying of the hip-hop star: "We're really, really good friends."

MATHEW KNOWLES SAYS DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE REGARDING HIS GRANDSON'S VENTURE INTO ACTING.

Beyonce Knowles' manager/father Mathew Knowles has dismissed and laughed off reports claiming his three-year-old grandson is to become the family's newest child star. Singer Solange Knowles' young son Daniel Julez has been part of rumored negotiations for a new TV show on the Nickelodeon network - but his grandfather insists the reports are untrue. Mathew says, "Although there have been several discussions with Nickelodeon and (my company) Music World Kids... there has been absolutely no conversation regarding my grandson, Julez, and no plans to discuss Julez in entertainment in the near future. When my grandson is old enough to decide what his passion is in life, we will support his dreams wholeheartedly, but it has to be his dreams."

Meanwhile, Mathew Knowles admits a TV venture featuring a toy range he and Solange created and developed in 2007 is on the slate. He says, "(There's an) announcement coming soon with an existing Nickelodeon franchise."

BOW WOW DISMISSES BOGUS RUMOR OF HIM SPITTING IN CHRIS BROWN'S FACE; SAYS, 'THAT'S A SISSY ACT.'

Rapper Bow Wow has laughed off reports he clashed with Chris Brown after spitting on the R&B teen heartthrob. The 20-year-old hip-hop star insists reports the two tourmates clashed over the incident are ridiculous. Bow Wow, real name Shad Moss, is alleged to have lost his temper while onstage in Dallas, Texas on Saturday (12Jan08) after experiencing technical problems. Local reports suggested the young rap star stormed offstage shouting at Brown's staff and accusing the singer's management of attempting to sabotage his show. Then, when Brown tried to calm Bow Wow down, the rapper allegedly spat in his face, according to a particular non-credible website who deems themselves as the number one Black celebrity entertainment news/gossip blog on the Internet.

But Moss insists he would never disrespect Brown like that. He tells MTV.com, "I just got off the phone with Chris. My mom called me and told me about the rumor. I called him and told him, and he started laughing. We was dying (with laughter). Anybody who knows me or anybody who's been around me knows I'm not that kind of person... A wise man once taught me, `The most vicious thing you can do is spit on somebody.' It's just a rumor. It's a big rumor. I would never do that. That's not being a man, that's a sissy act."

Kardashian has her publicity team working overtime to squelch rumors that she's engaged to her beau, football star Reggie Bush. But the buzz-busters face a major challenge: Kim's friends keep insisting the two are getting hitched. Kim is trying to create attention in her life because nothing else is really going on with her. The whole debate over her engagement is buzz, and that's what she wants. She's not engaged, but her friends are telling all their celeb weekly contacts that she is," according to a PageSix source.

Rap mogul Shawn 'Jay-Z" Carter has denied reports he married his longtime girlfriend Beyonce Knowles while on vacation in Paris. The couple was rumored to have wed in a intimate ceremony in the French capital last week, but a representative for Carter insists the allegations are false. A spokesperson tells AllHipHop.com, "They are not married".

Earlier this week, an imaginary, unidentified person claiming to be a close friend of the Knowles family told MediaFakeOut.com (who has rotated and circulated this rumor every 6 months for the past two and a half years) the pair celebrated their big day by eschewing traditional wedding rings and getting matching tattoos on their ring fingers instead.

Numerous gossip sites have reported the rumor for months, alleging that the couple has been married in various locations. Beyonce denied the rampant rumors in a high profile feature in Vanity Fair magazine in 2005. In 2006, Jay-Z dismissed a July 2006 rumor that stated the pair tied the knot at Martha’s Vineyard during the July 4th holiday. In December of 2006, the couple dismissed rumors that they jumped the broom at a luxury Caribbean resort.

JUST SO YALL KNOW: THIS IS A LONG (AND ENTERTAINING) READ! Can someone please be a darling of a sweetheart and kindly advise the owners of Mediatakeout.com to change their name from Red Snapper for taking the bait! LMAO! You'll understand what I mean once you finish reading this post.

Ask any not-easily-fooled blog reader, industry insider (such as tmz.com), or reputable and/or credible blogger about Mediatakeout.com and nine times out of ten, they'll tell you that Mediafakeout.com is known more for posting/creating 100% fake stories about today's hottest (and not so hot) black celebrities than true and credible ones. I'm convinced Karrine Steffans was referring specifically to MediaTakeOut.com when she spoke on the rumors that she's starting a rap career. Steffans claimed, 'sub-journalistic bloggers create and spread false information daily.'

So can you imagine the utter horror that soared all up and through MediaTakeOut.com's--the self-proclaimed number one and 'Most Visited Black Website in the World'--falsified, fronting and faking the font selves once they discovered that their 'exclusive' Lauren London and Jackie Long 'story' which had been emailed (CLICK HERE TO READ BOGUS EMAIL) to them by one of their 'loyal readers' was in fact a totally bogus story planted on LipstickAlley.com--a site in which I deem to be the 'Most Visited (and Credible) Website on the Internet'--by a longtime boardmember, as bait served up just for them to pick up, post and inevitably get blasted on! Did I mention that yours truly is also a proud member of LSA?

I would list them, but there's too many to name. And when they not posting untrue stories, they're snatching them from various messageboards (specifically LipstickAlley.com) and other credible websites with the intentions of 'exclusively' claiming them as their own; the same can be said about their 'exclusive pictures' in which they take from websites, messageboards and blogs and paste their logo on them. What really put the lid on the jar is when they developed the nerve to add the following post script at the end of each of their exclusive articles: CLICK HERE TO READ

Up and coming bloggers, take note: when reporting a story, make sure you check, double -check then triple-check your sources. If you can't do that, never hesitate to print a retraction. It takes nothing away from you as a blogger. If anything, it makes you more reputable one. As for this particular story, I guess MTO's pride is what's keeping them from going their usual route of deleting a articles (that has proven to be true) from their database. Pretty soon, they'll be known as the blog who cried wolf.

Oh, uh, did I fail to mention that both Lauren and Jackie were in on this hoax to hogtie MediaTakeOut.com? Baby-bye! FYI: As for MTO's 'exclusive' about Kenya Moore getting married story....well, it's as false as that story on Beyonce & Jay-Z tying the knot in Paris.
