There were a few teething issues, but Jay-Z's new 40/40 club is now open for business. And there to help celebrate the grand opening was none other but the rap mogul's stunning girlfriend Beyonce Knowles. Bey arrived with her younger sister Solange and the two made for quite a sight on the red carpet. An onlooker said: "Beyonce and Solange lit up the room." The big man himself arrived in style, wearing a fitted three-piece suit with cool shades to complete the look. Reports had suggested the Las Vegas club may not be open in time for New Year's Eve due to licensing issues, but Jay-Z pulled out all the stops and made sure this year gets off with a bang. The night was capped off with a birthday song for Cleveland Cavaliers player, Lebron James.

Other guests at the swanky party included Ne-Yo, Mary J. Blige (with her husband Kendu), Carl Anthony Payne (Cole from Martin), NBA baller Gary Peyton, actress Tichina Arnold, Rev. Run's daughter, Vanessa Simmons, Robin Thicke with his wife, Paula Patton and his dad Alan Thicke, Lebron James (with his mother and fiancee, Samantha), Papa Joe Jackson, Al Sharpton, Beanie Sigel, Memphis Bleek, Charles Barkley, Claudia Jordan, Pauly Shore, Chenoa Maxwell (from 1997 movie, Hav Plenty), Miss USA Rachel Smith and more.

Well, well, well, well, well...what do we have here?! Either Kim tipped the paparazzi off OR these two thought no one would spot and/or photog them together out and about. I'm going to have to go with the aforementioned choice. Either way, we now have more proof that these two are more than just friends...contrary to what Kim has said in the past regarding her 'relationship' with the football star. However, if she's the one he prefers to tickle his pickle...then so be it. I toyed with that idea as far as giving our interviews and saying that but no, it was like day to day, night to night we were actually living together. We just grew so strong and it so important for people to know how real this relationship is that we couldn’t even wait. We couldn’t abide by the rules. Now we can laugh at it because it’s over but we could’ve really been in serious trouble."
