He's had meetings with Disney, Nickelodeon and Paramount pictures to discuss expanding his brand beyond that of an hip-hop artist. What's on the way for Way? 'We've got the Soulja Boy cartoon, the Soulja Boy comic series...and a couple of movie scripts...' He's even getting accolades and whatnot from Magilla the Gorilla himself: 50 Cent! Aaaaaah, Youuuuuuuuu....!

...Funny man/Oscar award winner Jamie Foxx is hoping to teach men how to be gentlemen in a new reality TV show. Foxx has signed on to co-produce a new makeover show for MTV as part of a new two-year first-look production deal with the music entertainment cable channel. His first reality show will be called From G's to Gents, and will feature streetwise guys who are given tips on how to charm the ladies before competing against each other, for what, I don't know. No word on if Foxx will only appear behind the camera. I hope not. Dude can look a certain way, and I'd fall out laughing! He is such a clown!

MAG SCANS: OMARION & BOW WOW'S FASHION SPREAD IN VIBE MAGAZINE

R&B artist Omarion and rapper Bow Wow who have literally transformed from boys to men before our very eyes are both featured getting their 'grown man on' in a fashion photospread where they don tailored suits and other manly threads for Vibe magazine's November 2007 issue. Their first album collaboration, which is aptly titled Face Off hits record stores December 11th., is sure to garner more [grown-ass] women fans with such songs as, Take Off Your Clothes, He Ain't Me and Bachelor Pad. 'This was our chance to make the kind of music we've been wanting to make for a long time. You got the prince of R&B meeting up with the prime of hip hop. It don't get no bigger than that,' says Bow Wow.

My mama gets on me all the time about my style because everybody thinks it's boring. But that's what makes me me.'

BOW WOW ON WHY HE SALUTING JAY-Z FOR ROCKING BLAZERS: 'I salute Jay for that. He made a lot of rappers start dressing. And a lot of them dress now....entirely too much. At a lot of these awards shows, rappers only wear suits. That's why I commend 50--he sticks to what a real rapper should dress like; he doesn't over-suit it. Nowadays you go to the MTV Awards and every rapper's in a blazer or a tux. It's like--this was the Oscars. Represent what you represent.'

HAS ALICIA KEYS GONE INTO DIVA-TUDE OVERLOAD?; SINGER DITCHES HER OWN PARTY

If you want Alicia Keys to show up at your club, you'd better complete a couple of things first: either get it cleaned up before her arrival, make sure, double check if need be, you have all lines of communications open with her 'people' AND have her appearance fee (in cash) in hand and ready to pass on to her before she even walk through your club doors.

According to a couple of reports, Keys skipped the bash for her new CD, As I Am, Tuesday at Pacha because the place was "a mess," said her manager, Jeanine McLean. "She was going to go through, have a drink and celebrate as a favor to the club. But when she got there, there was no security and the crowd was rough. She sat there waiting for them to get it together for an hour." A Pacha rep said, "We had an ample security team onsite and had reserved an entire area for her."

But a source said Keys didn't show because she wasn't getting paid. Club promoters had rented out the nightclub had allegedly negotiated her appearance to the tune of $15,000. But missing money kept the singer circling the block for nearly an hour while the promoters hustled to find $4,000 to get Keys out of her car and into the club, says our source. Alicia was slated for a midnight arrival, but by the time 1:30 a.m. rolled around, her bodyguards, friends and even boyfriend were all inside waiting for her. Outside, Keys drove around the neighborhood.

"These promoters were digging in their pockets, looking for cash, and were still short," said another source. "The owner of the club even offered to pay the remainder of the owed money himself, just to get her in the club." However, Keys' manager, Jeff Robinson said, "I never heard she was getting paid at all." Then why did Alicia not go inside even to meet her boyfriend? "Well, there was a lot of mismanagement by these club promoters, and that's about all I know," Robinson told the New York Daily News.

Keys' fans got the shortest end of the stick, as many went home dejected after missing their idol. Usually devoted to her fans, Keys may have had no idea that the people at the club had paid to see her.

FRIENDS OF KANYE SAYS HE'S 'DEVASTATED' & 'IN DENIAL' AFTER MOTHER'S DEATH; UNAWARE SHE WAS HAVING SURGERY.

Kanye West is devastated and seemingly "in denial" after a botched plastic surgery likely led to the sudden death of his beloved mother, friends told the Daily News. The rapper, who has been in Europe on tour with his album Graduation, needed several days to gather the strength to fly back to the U.S., family friends said. Adding to the tragedy, a friend says, the Grammy-winning rapper didn't think his mom, Donda West, needed any physical improvement - much less radical cosmetic surgery. "I don't think Kanye was aware Donda was getting the surgery, or certainly the extent of it," a family friend said. "He loved and supported her just the way she was. He thought she was beautiful."

Donda West, 58, died on Saturday at a Los Angeles hospital just 24 hours after receiving a breast reduction and tummy tuck from Dr. Jan Adams, a well-known TV doctor with a hidden history of DUI convictions and six-figure medical-malpractice judgments. The coroner is investigating "complications of surgery" as the cause. An official determination won't be made for weeks. "Donda had image issues, like a lot of women," said the friend, to whom Donda West had confided in recent weeks.

A funeral is scheduled for Tuesday in Oklahoma City, according to the family friend.

Adams performed the surgery on Kanye's mom at a low-rent storefront clinic perched above a FedEx Kinko's store in a West Los Angeles strip mall, according to an address provided by the Los Angeles County coroner. The clinic, Brentwood Surgery Center, still had a display promoting Adams' skincare products on a faux Grecian column yesterday. Adams, 53, was the chief surgical resident at Manhattan's Lenox Hill Hospital from 1989 to 1990. He remained in hiding yesterday after offering his "deepest condolences" to Kanye's family in a statement released Tuesday.

The Medical Board of California already was seeking to revoke or suspend Adams' license over two drunken-driving arrests in 2002 and last year that led to convictions. Adams also was ordered to pay two separate malpractice judgments of $217,337 and $250,000 in 2001.

'GIRLFRIENDS' CO-STAR KEESHA SHARP ON JILL MARIE JONES EXIT FROM THE SHOW.

Girlfriends castmember Keesha Sharp (who plays the role of 'Monica Dent') has given her two cents on Jill Marie Jones (who will forever own and brought life to the 'always keeping it real' Toni Childs Garrett character since the show made its debut in 1999) sudden and unexpected departure from the successful sitcom which is now in its eighth and final season. 'We all missed her. It's hard to come up with storylines when you're missing a main character.' However, Sharp still believes that Jill should've reached out and personally explained to her fans...as well as to the fans of the show as to why she made the choice to leave and never return. Because seriously, how many of you all were hoping and praying that Toni Childs would show up at Aaron's house when he threw Joan that surprise engagement party in which he brought back all of her closest friends in last season's finale back in May? I know I did!

Anywhoo, Keesha went on to say, 'One thing that was bad about it was that more conversation didn't happened. Jill just decided to move on, which I totally understand as an actor. But I just wish more people knew. Because then (viewers) were angry, thinking the network did something or that Monica was trying to replace Toni.' Jones walkout from the show before the start of the seventh season alleged stems from irreconcilable contract negotiations as well miscommunication a.k.a. 'he say/she say' bouts between she and the other three stars of the show, Tracee Ellis Ross, Golden Brooks and Persia White.

Keesha is elated now that the show has gotten over its most difficult obstacles since Jones left, and gives a handful of kudos to the writers of the show for implementing more realistic episodes regarding Toni and Joan's friendship ending on such a sour note.

One thing that can never be disputed is the fact that there's no actress in the industry or anywhere else who will ever have the chops to take over the role of Toni Childs Garrett.

Here's a few tidbits you may not have known about Keesha: These days when she isn't on the set, you can usually find her spending time with her 2-year-old son, Solomon and her singer/songwriter husband of 10 years, Bradford Sharp. Also, before branching out into acting, the 34-year-old actress was also a singer. As a matter of fact, that's how she met her husband. 'He saw me onstage and we were both performers at the time,' Keesha said. However, it wasn't until after she graduated from The Boston Conservatory, that the actress stopped singing supposedly due to pressure from the folks who loved her voice so much. Sounds crazy, right? She says, 'People would be like, 'Oh, you've got to hear Keesha.' And you'd walk in the room and everybody's anticipating you. You could either rise to it or you could crumble and I started to crumble, to be honest. I started to feel like I couldn't be as good as everybody's expectations were already, so I eventually stopped singing.'

In the meantime, when she isn't acting, she stays heavily involved in the church. She has even entertained the idea of doing missionary work in foreign countries during the show's hiatus. Will she ever return to her singing roots? Who knows?

Actresses Gabrielle Union, Sanaa Lathan and Nia Long will all be featured in Essence magazine's December 2007 issue. In this issue the women opened up and then some on several topics such as the trials and tribulations that go along with being a Black woman in Hollywood, seeking meaningful acting roles, staying true themselves and last, but definitely not least: dealing with the negativity on the Internet, specifically, the rants, rumors and just plain lies that are posted on various urban entertainment blogs written by Black woman, who as Gabrielle says are quick to 'rip us to shreds every two seconds from our nose to the weave to the clothes to the shoes to the ashy ankles.'

Well, I for one, am glad she isn't referring to me and mine. Let the records....and the blog post (peep the 'Hollywood Hottest Honeys...' or something like that further down on this page) show that I made a feeble attempt to post a blurb (although it was small, but at least I tried *folds arms on top of chest*) regarding Gabby's rumored shady ways with several men in the entertainment, music and sports industry.

Now, that I have said my piece, check out the excerpt of Gabby, Sanaa and Nia voicing their opinions as well as concern (and I can truly understand where they are coming from...cause Lord knows I be bout---yeah, I said 'I be bout'--to go off a la Benita Buttrell when someone says something off the wall about a couple of my favorite celebs) as they explain their utter disbelief on how it's Black women in the media (i.e., bloggers, magazine reporters, etc)...not the White media, who slander and scandalize their names the most...

ON GOSSIP

Essence: How do you deal with the 24-hours-a-day gossip that comes out on the Internet?

Gabrielle: Just last week somebody gave me a baby. This isn’t Perez Hilton or the White gossip people, these are women of color, specifically Black women who, for whatever reason, don’t like the company I keep.

Sanaa: She’s talking about the gossip sites.

Essence: The blogs.

Sanaa: That are run by Black women.

Gabrielle: And now because everyone is clamoring for celebrity tidbits, the bigger gossip sites and even mainstream entities are picking up on it. No fact-checking, no nothing. And in one week’s time, there were like five different dudes, a baby—I’m a homewrecker. In literally seven days. I can’t point the finger at the White media. They don’t care about us. Paparazzi are not staked out in front of any of our houses. They are not going through our garbage because they don’t care about us in that way. So when you hear crap about us, it is coming from our own community, which hurts.

Nia: We are some of the few Black actresses whose passions are rooted in our community.

Gabrielle: There is this idea that there is integrity in journalism; if it’s written it has to be true. But that’s not the case. When blogs or any of the magazines get it wrong, there’s no accountability. In the next breath, they’ll complain on the blogs that we don’t have enough Black stars. Well, you rip us to shreds every two seconds from our nose to the weave to the clothes to the shoes to the ashy ankles.

CELEB BABY NEWS, RUMORS & TRUTHS ON JENNIFER LOPEZ, HALLE BERRY & CHRISTINA AGUILERA.

Pregnant actress Halle Berry is devastated after learning boyfriend Gabriel Aubry plans to remain in New York following the birth of their first child next year (08). The Oscar-winner, who is five months pregnant, planned to raise the tot at her home in Los Angeles - but her French Canadian partner of two years reportedly wants to reside on America's east coast to further his modeling career. A source says, "She's been shocked by the news. Halle had always assumed Gabriel would move to the west coast so they could live together as one happy family. If Gabriel stays in New York, it'll mean long separations. She knows their relationship won't survive and has been begging him to change his mind."

But the 41-year-old actress is determined her baby will not experience the distant relationship she had with her own father. The source adds, "Halle hardly knew her own dad and they were still estranged at the time of his death, so she's desperate for her daughter to have a father she sees regularly."

Amd of what I heard is true, Halle is making the necessary moves in order to relocate from sunny Cali to the Big Apple. In the photos below, snapped back in early October, the mommy-to-be was spotted in the Tribeca area of New York City in searching for a home. If you ask me, it looks like Halle has no problem with supporting her man/baby daddy as well as his wish to elevate his modeling career and whatnot. That's just my opinion. Bronx-bred beauty Jennifer Lopez is taking a break from her singing and acting career after a recent health scare alerted the star to the dangers of a miscarriage. The 38-year-old - who confirmed her pregnancy last week - was taken to a hospital after noticing spots of blood in her urine - and was ordered by her doctor to cut back on all strenuous activities. Lopez - who is rumored to be expecting twins - has been traveling around America to promote her latest album, Brave, and has just completed a U.S. tour with her husband Marc Anthony.

A source close to the star says, "She's petrified that something could go wrong (with her pregnancy). (The hospital visit) really shook her up. If she lost the babies, her life would be shattered." And the singer's doctor isn't the only concerned party - her mother, Guadalupe, has been trying for months to get her daughter to slow down. The insider adds, "Her mum's constantly been on the phone, telling her to calm down. Guadalupe's very no-nonsense and she's told Jen that she needs to take some time out of the limelight to enjoy her pregnancy and her babies when they arrive."

Singer Christina Aguilera has held a blue-themed shower for her baby at her Los Angeles home, according to reports. People magazine reports that the 26-year-old star welcomed friends and family to the gift-giving ceremony in Beverley Hills over the weekend. The Grammy-winning artist cooed over presents such as blue socks and shirts for the child, a bassinet with blue bedding materials and matching diaper-changing equipment for the little tot, according to a source.

Over the past few weeks there had been intense speculation about whether Aguilera and fellow singer Jennifer Lopez were pregnant. Both have confirmed that they are expecting children and tabloid speculation has now moved onto the gender of their forthcoming bundles of joy. Last week, Aguilera told Glamour magazine that she was expecting a child with music producer Jordan Bratman. The couple have been married since November 2005.

NEW PICS: BOYZ II MEN PERFORMING/SIGNING COPIES OF THEIR NEW CD, 'MOTOWN: A JOURNEY THROUGH HITSVILLE USA.'

Shawn Stockman, Wanya Morris and Nathan Morris who happen to be the remaining members of Boyz II Men, the most successful Grammy Award winning R&B male group of all time, performed and signed copies of their new CD Motown: A Journey Through Hitsville USA at FYE in their hometown of Philadelphia Tuesday night. On Motown: A Journey Through Hitsville USA we hear the fellas not only pay tribute to, but also sing their own renditions of such Motown classic hits as The Temptations Just My Imagination, The Miracles Tracks Of My Tears, The Four Tops It's the Same Old Song/Reach Out I'll Be There, Stevie Wonder's Ribbon In the Sky, Marvin's Gaye Mercy, Mercy Me and more all produced by American Idol judge Randy Jackson.

During their reign from 1992 to 1997, Boyz II Men sold 90 million albums and 50 million singles worldwide. I knew these guys were successful, but I didn't fathom just how much. FYI: Three of their #1 hits, End of the Road, I'll Make Love to You, and One Sweet Day (with Mariah Carey), set and broke records for the longest period of time a single remained at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. You learn something new everyday, huh?

Baritone-bassed and fourth member Michael McCary left the group and retired from music altogether back in 2003 (after the release of their 2002 Full Circle album) after being diagnosed with severe scoliosis...a chronic back ailment.
