Will Smith's on a mission to make David Beckham his new BFF. I can't think of one reasonable reason for any man to want to make it his goal to friends with another man all willy-nilly. That is not a good look; therefore and thus and such, I'mma need Will Smith to go somewhere and sit his ass down, for real. What's even more sad is that Will isn't the first celeb to do this. Tyra Banks ran this same game on Alicia Keys. If I hadn't seen the show and heard it for myself, I probably wouldn't have believed it. The way she went on and on about how she and (her BFF) Kimora sat down and plotted plans on how they could convince Alicia to join their little clique had me totally speechless...and for me, that's a hard thing to do. Just ask anyone who knows me! LOL! Anywhoo...Will Smith has set his sights on becoming David Beckham's best pal in 2008 after finding the British soccer stud and his wife Victoria "charming". The movie star and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith were among the Hollywood elite who welcomed the couple when they first arrived in Los Angeles this summer (07) - and now Smith wants to spend more time with his new pal. He says, "I love his energy and his attitude, what he represents to the sport and we're just really getting to know them. They're very, very funny and I keep telling them they should let people know how funny they are because they're hilarious. I'm interested in spending some time with them and getting to know them."
