PICS: LAMMAN RUCKER ATTENDS 'I STAND FOR MAGIC' PSA PREMIERE.

Actor/activist/motivational speaker as well as tall, dark and oh-so-handsome Lamman Rucker attended the premiere of 'I Stand with Magic' campaign at the AMC Magic Johnson Crenshaw 15 theater in Los Angeles last week. Now, if you all have read Real Gossip 101 blog posts on Lamman, you'd know that he is more than just a fine, specimen of a man...and if you haven't read them, I suggest you do because if I get started this post will become much longer than it needs to be...so I'll digress. So, instead I'll take this time to thank my loyal reader and devout Lamman fan (and no, it's not FamuDiva LOL!) laporfesora81 (you all can also thank her as well) for sending me the info regarding Mr. Rucker attending this event. And a special shout out to msreape/M.A.R. for supplying the pictures for me and the rest of Lamman's fans. Thanks a lot ladies. I appreciate it so much!

According to the Sun-Herald, Earvin "Magic" Johnson, Cookie Johnson, Abbott and the Magic Johnson Foundation launched the public service announcement campaign as part of the I Stand With Magic Program. The public service announcement campaign will premiere nationally this summer and is targeted toward African-American and other minority communities where new HIV infections are prevalent. In 2005, about half of the people diagnosed with HIV/AIDS in the United States were among African Americans, who represent about 13 percent of the population. The first PSA entitled, "Stand," focuses on a "call to action" encouraging African-Americans to get educated, get tested and to seek treatment for HIV. The second PSA, titled "Talk" encourages women to protect themselves and talk to their partners about safe sex and HIV. Both will also be featured on Abbott.com and YouTube. The public service announcement campaign launches in advance of National HIV Testing Day on June 27, 2008.

"We need to take it upon ourselves to bring the number of new infections down in the Black communities by arming ourselves with knowledge," said "Magic" Johnson. "Getting tested for HIV can be scary for many people, but I hope by launching these public service announcements to at-risk populations, people across the country will have the courage to get tested and go back for their results."

BOBBY'S BOY LANDON DENIES BEDDING DOWN LINDSAY LOHAN: 'WORD IS BOND, IF I SLEPT WITH LINDSAY, I WOULD STILL BE SLEEPING WITH HER RIGHT NOW.'

Bobby Brown's son Landon has denied sexing Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan, insisting the sordid romance rumors are "off the wall". The former reject of MTV reality show Rock the Cradle (and if you watched the show like I painfully did, you'd know why he was rejected and told to cut the corner) once claimed he had sex with the star in a club bathroom at a private party in West Hollywood when he was 21 and actress/singer Lohan was 20. He said, "Me and Lindsay got really, really close. She followed me to the bathroom during a private party, and, well, we basically got together." Mmmm-hmmm.

But Landon is now denying ever having sexual relations with the former good-girl-gone-bad actress. He tells the National Enquirer, "This is wild. This is off the wall. My father had a concert going on. The club was on the lot. She was on the lot filming something I think. I wasn't dating Lindsay Lohan on the low. Nah man, I ain't had sex with Lindsay Lohan. And I ain't tell him I had sex with Lindsay Lohan either. Word is bond, if I slept with Lindsay Lohan, I would still be sleeping with Lindsay Lohan right now."

LISARAYE McCOY-MISICK RESPONDS TO ALLEGATIONS ACCUSING HER HUSBAND OF RAPING ONE OF HER FRIENDS + AN ANONYMOUS SOURCE DISHES MORE DETAILS.

Caribbean Net News is reporting that divorce is looming for actress LisaRaye and her husband, Turks and Caicos Islands [TCI] Premiere Dr. Michael Misick, in the wake of rape allegations leveled against him. In April, Misick was accused of sexually assaulting a U.S. citizen on a visit to his and LisaRaye’s home in the TCI. It was reported that the female visitor in question was a friend of LisaRaye’s. Misick denied the allegations in a televised statement within the next two days. But other media sources, including Internet sites and Bahamian newspapers, reported that Misick admitted there was sexual contact but claims that it was consensual.Rumors of cheating and infidelity have followed the couple’s two-year marriage, but have never been confirmed. LisaRaye told Caribbean Net News on Tuesday: "I understand the interest my fellow Turks and Caicos Islanders have in this matter. But I hope they will understand that I have no comment to make at this time." Madness right? The only kudos I'll give to LisaRaye is for her stating that she 'have no comment to make at this time,' when she could have easily lied and gave the standardized, 'I trust my husband and I know that he is innocent of these allegations, therefore I will continue to stand by him'-type of comment. Below is an excerpt from an unknown source who alleges she knows the real deal regarding LisaRaye's marriage--the fake and real one, to Misick, details of why Misick is under investigation for embezzling funds from Turks & Caicos natives, why LisaRaye will walk away from her marriage with just the clothes on her back and why she could go to jail.

"The man has really done some crazy things. He has no friends. Everyone is turning their backs on him. He practically is bankrupting the little monies that the islanders have. "When you give a lot of information about your relationship, people think they're a part of it, and people have a tendency to make judgments and opinions and 'he said-she-said.' FMR. BOX SUES JAY-Z FOR STEALING HIS RHYMING STYLE; FMR. FRIEND SUES R. KELLY FOR STEALING HIS 'STEPPIN' MOVES.

According to Allhiphop.com, former heavyweight boxer Mitchell Rose is planning to file an $88 million dollar copyright lawsuit against Jay-Z in Brooklyn Federal Court. Rose says he gave Jay-Z his demo tape on March 12, 2001, following a bout between William Joppy and Felix Trinidad. Afterwards, he was shocked to discover that Jay-Z allegedly stole his style of rhyming, delivery and even certain lyrics. “He took the style and the delivery. He’s using it on the regular, now Lil’ Kim is using it. All I want is justice. Jay-Z knows what I am talking about." The former heavyweight boxer who is known for knocking out Eric “Butterbean” Esch, claims he met Jay-Z right after the Joppy-Trinidad fight and gave a demo to the rap superstar, who promised to listen to it. “He took the demo with him and shortly after that he began using the whispering (which he now frequents) in his songs. I had previously trained some of my artists to use that style, but it quickly became obsolete after Jay-Z got a hold of it. He used the whispering to enhance his music and financially benefit from it. Jay-Z disregarded the fact that it was my demo where he got the style from as he went on to use it for his own personal gains, which is wrong.”

In related news, Jay-Z's former Best of Both Worlds parter, R. Kelly, who has just been acquitted of 14 counts of child pornography, is also being sued...again. Henry Vaughn, an associate of the self-proclaimed "King of R&B," is suing the crooner for stealing his "steppin'" dance moves, according to TMZ. Vaughn said he gave the moves to Kells to make him seem more mature. Kels shouts out Uncle Henry Love at the end of his song Step in the Name of Love.

NEW EDITION MEMBER RALPH TRESVANT TO RELEASE 3rd SOLO ALBUM THIS YEAR.

New Edition member Ralph Tresvant is preparing to release his first solo album in two years and his second via his own Xzault Media Group (XMG) label. The as-yet-untitled project, due later this year, includes the lead single It Must Be You, which arrives July 1 on iTunes, Amazon.com and other digital download sites, reports Billboard.com. "This album is something I've been wanting to put out for awhile," Tresvant tells the Web site. "I'm not really thinking about this project as having a certain sound or sticking to a certain formula. I talk about love, social issues...these songs round off where I've come from and who I am after all this time." Tresvant's last solo effort was the 2006 XMG release RizzWaFaire. He has charted five top 10 R&B singles, including the 1990 No. 1 Sensitivity. His business partner and XMG co-owner Dan Dillman says the company's upcoming plans include an up-close-and-personal tour featuring Tresvant.

As previously reported, New Edition will receive ASCAP's Golden Note Award during the performing rights organization's annual Rhythm & Soul Music Awards at the in Beverly Hills on June 23. The group's 25-year career will be saluted during the ceremony.

LIL WAYNE TO REV. AL SHARPTON: 'YOU'RE JUST ANOTHER DON KING WITH A PERM.'

Rapper Lil Wayne has lashed out at civil rights leader Revered Al Sharpton in the lyrics to a new song, branding the minister a "nobody". On the track Misunderstood from his new album Tha Carter III, the Lollipop hitmaker takes aim at the race activist, rapping: "You are nobody to me/You're just another Don King (boxing promoter) with a perm/Just a little more political/And that just means you a little more un-human/Than us humans.../F**k Al Sharpton and anyone like him."

But Sharpton insists he takes no offense to the slur, reported by AllHipHop.com - because he claims Lil Wayne has no credibility as a musician. He says, "While some of the rappers don't like the fact that Rev. Sharpton has been leading marches against the degradation of women in music, a Gallup (opinion) poll released last week revealed that Reverend Sharpton has a 50 percent approval rate among African-Americans. So why dignify a response to one rap artist who doesn't even say anything substantive?"

HALLE SAYS SHE EXPECTS MOTHERHOOD TO BOOST HER CHANCES OF WINNING ANOTHER ACADEMY AWARD.

Halle Berry, indisputably the most beautiful black woman in the world, says she expects her newfound motherhood to boost her chances of landing more Oscar-winning roles - because having a baby has killed off her sex symbol status.
