THE FIVE HEARTBEATS TOP AOL BLACK VOICES TOP 10 GREATEST BLACK MOVIES OF ALL TIME.

The Five Heartbeats has topped a list naming the best urban movies of all time. The 1991 film, which was written and produced by Keenen Ivory Wayans and its star Robert Townsend, follows the rise and fall of a 1960s African-American vocal quintet aptly named The Five Heartbeats. After an initially rocky start, the group improve, turn pro, and rise to become a top flight music sensation. Along the way however, the guys learn many hard lessons about the reality of the music industry with it's casual racism and greed while the personal weaknesses of the members threaten to destroy the integrity of the band. The movie also starred Michael Wright, Leon, Diahann Carroll, Tico Wells, Troy Beyer and Harold Nichols.

And here's an unknown fact regarding the movie: The scene where Big Red beats up and dangles a singer out of a window over royalties is alleged to have actually happened to the late singer, Jackie Wilson.
AOL Black Voices Top 10 Greatest Black Movies of All Time are:
1. The Five Heartbeats (1991)
2. A Soldier's Story (1984)
3. The Color Purple (1985)
4. Cooley High (1975)
5. Ray (2004)
6. Glory (1989)
7. Love Jones (1997)
8. What's Love Got To Do With It? (1993)
9. Ali (2001)
10. Do The Right Thing (1989).
Uhn-uhn. I'm pissed off to the highest level of pisstivity. Where the hell is Coming to America and Dreamgirls?! I mean, really!

There is an advantage to including on-site medical care in a Drug Rehab. Physicians and nurses provide 24-hour hospital services to monitor and ensure a safe withdrawal from alcohol and other drugs. In addition, a medical staff specializing in addiction medicine can oversee the progress of each individual and make necessary adjustments to the treatment plan.

Medical credentials and accreditation can also be important. For example, a chemical dependency Drug Rehab that earns JCAHO accreditation (Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations) meets national standards for providing quality medical care. Appropriate state licensing is also an important consideration.

Be sure to ask which medical costs are included in the price of treatment at the drug rehab.

The length of time it takes to detox from drugs or alcohol varies considerably depending upon the severity of your drug addiction / alcoholism and resulting medical and psychiatric problems. It is important to understand that drug detox programs or alcohol detox programs are only the initial step in recovery from drug addiction or alcoholism. Drug detox programs or alcohol detox programs provide medical stabilization and should not be viewed as addiction treatment or Drug Rehab. A drug rehab program looks to maintain the gains made in drug detox programs, while working towards establishing firm ground upon which future recovery is to be built.

HI,

It’s really good to know about this. Looks really interesting!!!
People like the use of alcohol as a fashion and show their position in principle and is now a drug for them. Sad is that some are not able to achieve. But some are not able or their bad habit or you decide not able to stop what they do with themselves. People who have an addiction to alcohol can do Alcohol Detox. And place that can facilitate the Addiction Treatment is Treatment Solutions Network or www.treatmentsolutionsnetwork.com.

Thanks,
