RIHANNA'S 'GOOD GIRL GONE BAD' IMAGE PAYS OFF IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE + CANDID PICS OF HER WITH HER RUMORED BOO, CHRIS BROWN.

Someone tell Beyonce to slide to the side. There's a new 'IT' girl on the horizon. R&B singer Rihanna has been named as one of the Ten Most Powerful Girls in Hollywood for a number of reasons including her chart-topping hits, the infamous 'Rihanna Cut', the 'Rihanna Bag,' her successful music career, her venture into film and entrepreneurship, according to US magazine. Although her number one hit song, Umbrella spent seven weeks at the top of the U.S. charts, it's the super-sleek, super-popular jet-black bob the Barbados-born singer dons that's making a huge impact on young girls...and even grown women everywhere. “My hairdresser keeps telling me people come into the salon and ask like, ‘I want the Rihanna cut’” she said. “I’m like, ‘Really?’”

As for her personal life, rumors have begun to run rampant suggesting she and teen heartthrob, Chris Brown are dating after they were recently spotted together at public spots, including Barneys following his Brown's performance last Wednesday night. Brown admitted having a crush on the Caribbean singer in the past, telling Us Weekly that they flirted at the 2007 VMAs but "we haven’t taken it to that next level yet."

The 19 year-old crossover star has released three albums in as many years and tells Us it won’t stop there. “I’m looking at getting into film, and I’m working on my own businesses.” She’s already partnered with Tates for - what else? - a line of umbrellas. She also hooked up with Marc Jacobs and soon became the inspiration behind the designer's line of his latest new pair of purses affectionately called The Marc Jacobs Rihanna bag. A CoverGirl model, she tells Us, “I’m proud that I can be a black female and a spokesmodel for a major company.”

Looks like Rihanna’s “good girl gone bad” image is starting to pay-off.

OLD SCHOOL RAPPERS HEAVY D., BIG DADDY KANE AND DOUG E. FRESH PLAN 'MIC CHECK TOUR.'

Heavy D. returned to the stage last night (Jan 27) at the House of Blues in Los Angeles for his first performance as a rapper in over a decade. Heavy D., who has focused on his acting career for the past ten years, was joined on stage by veterans Doug E. Fresh and Big Daddy Kane. The rapper/actor told AllHipHop.com that the House of Blues show sold out so rapidly and generated so much interest that they are considering adding another show. The trio’s performance is also a test of sorts for a possible Mic Check Tour featuring the three Hip-Hop legends. "Right now it’s still an if," Heavy D told AllHipHop.com. "There’s no definite dates, but there’s a lot of offers. We’re just trying to make the right decision, based on everybody’s schedule. But chances are that’s what we’re gonna do."

"I haven’t performed with Heavy D since like 1989," added Big Daddy Kane, who continues to tour actively. "That makes it and the whole vibe that’s been built around it different." According to Heavy D, artists like Doug E. Fresh, Big Daddy Kane and himself can continue to perform years after releasing new material, due to a key component missing in today’s entertainment industry. "What happened is there was sort of a misstep, when the record companies started seeing the value of the dollar through Hip-Hop and stopped paying attention to building artists," Heavy D. said.

As a member of Heavy D. and The Boyz, Heavy, born Dwight Errington, released several classic Hip-Hop albums, including Livin’ Large (1987), Big Time (1989), Peaceful Journey (1991), Blue Funk (1993) and others.

In addition to releasing hit singles like Mr. Big Stuff, We Got Our Own Thing, and Now That We Found Love, Heavy D. has had a successful career as an actor as well, appearing in films like The Cider House Rules, New Jersey Drive, and Life and television show like Boston Public and The Tracy Morgan Show. The rapper has also appeared in several plays, including Riff Raff and Medal of Honor Rag, which was executive produced by Will Smith and enjoyed a six month, sold out run in Los Angeles.

Taking an involuntary break from the acting world, prompted by the ongoing writer’s strike, Heavy D. is now working on a Reggae album. "I’ve always been involved with the Reggae scene, underground; and it was always something I was always involved in." As of now, there is no release date for Heavy D.’s album.

NAOMI CAMPBELL'S FORMER PERSONAL ASSISTANT & VICTIM OF HER ASSAULTS COMMITS SUICIDE BY JUMPING FROM A BRIDGE.

The former personal assistant to supermodel Naomi Campbell has leapt off a bridge to her death. Celebrity stylist and personal shopper Jade Bien-Aimee Sutherland was found dead under London's Albert Bridge on the shore of the Thames river near her home in Battersea, South London. The 28-year-old was seen sobbing on the streets of Los Angeles last year (2007) after a fight with Campbell caused her to quit her job as the catwalk model's assistant. Caribbean-born Sutherland - who was born a boy but underwent a sex-change - was said to have been devastated after the death from pneumonia of her "soulmate" Andrew Richardson, 24, who died just ten days before her suicide. In an email to friends she wrote: "He's now gone, I'm all alone, my heart is empty, my life is empty. I don't think life's worth living after losing a close one."

Ozzy Osbourne's wife Sharon and their daughter Kelly, were among hundreds of mourners at Sutherland's funeral in London's Piccadilly.

UT-OH! LUDA'S CATCHES A LAWSUIT, RAPPER ACCUSED OF STEALING TRACKS FOR HIS 'RED LIGHT DISTRICT' ALBUM

Three music producers are suing rapper Ludacris over claims he stole one of their tracks and used it on his hit album The Red Light District. The hip-hop star - real name Chris Bridges - is facing a lawsuit from the trio, known as the Boogiii Men Entertainment Group, who claim there are major similarities between a demo CD they sent to Bridges' record label in 2004 and a Ludacris song titled Get Back. However, The Medicine Man and Tic Toc are credited as the song's producers.

The real producers - Damon 'Damethegreat' Mayfield, Markus 'Vincent' Vick and Anthony Turner - from Chester, Pennsylvania, insist all of their follow-up calls to the star's Disturbing Tha Peace label were met with a lukewarm response and they were never credited on Bridges' 2004 LP. They have now filed papers in Philadelphia accusing Bridges of copyright infringement, according to Allhiphop.com. The Boogii Men have worked with artists like Charlie Baltimore, Juelz Santana, Rampage of Flipmode Squad, Special Ed, Jaguar Wright and others.

NEW PICS: EDDIE GOES CLUBBING AT THE BANK AT THE BELLAGIO CASINO.

Look at this international idiot right here! Who he think he's fooling?! Below are pics of the actor at The Bank at the Bellagio Casino in Las Vegas last Saturday night. I'm guessing he went out clubbing--(something he has never done since his first marriage, according to him) to convince himself as well as prove to others that he has moved on from that fraudulent farce of a relationship to Tracey--and yes, she's an international idiot too--and trying his hand at openly flirting with random women. You crazy for this one, Eddie! I bet his children are beyond embarrassed by their father's actions...past and present.

Speaking of kids, in related news, while Eddie's was out trying to recruit another beard, his baby's mama, Mel B. is in the process of planning to wed her husband Stephen Belafonte for a second time in April of this year. Brown secretly married film producer Belafonte last June (2007) but the singer has made plans for a second, more lavish, ceremony for all of her friends and family. The star has reportedly booked a large star-studded event for her upcoming nuptials once the Spice Girls conclude their current reunion world tour. A source tells British magazine Closer, "Mel wants all of her and Stephen's family to be at this wedding." That's a good look, Mel. Unlike Tracey and Eddie, at least her marriage is legal. What the hell was Tracey thinking?! How could a woman leave Babyface?! A respectable, charismatic, respectful, classy, doting father and husband for a dude who's rude, disrespectful, demanding, resembles a donkey, dances like his Norbit character (look at the very last pic. *in Rasputia's voice: 'How yure doing!) and last but certainly not least: a man who has made it publicly known that he doesn't want to have anything to do with his youngest out-of-wedlock child. I feel absolutely no sympathy for Tracey at all. None.

DANITY KANE MEMBER D. WOODS ON THE NEW SEASON OF 'MAKING THE BAND': 'IT WAS CRAZY IN EVERY SENSE OF THE WORD CRAZY.'

"It's the ladies and the boys. I said boys I didn't say men. It's us together on the show, recording our album together, and living together. It was crazy in every sense of the word crazy. It's going to be shocking to see the interaction between the guys and us, shocking to see who got a little bit romantic, shocking to see who didn't and how that didn't work out, the downfall of rejection."

--DK (Danity Kane) member D. Woods to SOHH.com on living under one roof with the (still unnamed boy band....and white boy Donnie) recent batch of Diddy's Making the Band 3 clan. The new season, Making the Band 4 debuts tonight at 10 pm on MTV.
