PICS: THE GAME SPENDS A DAY IN THE PARK WITH HIS SONS HARLEM & KING JUSTICE.

The Game's baby boy King Justice celebrated (I really couldn't find another word to use) his first birthday on April 25th with a day at the park. I want so badly to call it a mediocre baby b-day bash but for some reason I just can't. As a matter of fact I can't even call it! Anyhoo, judging from the pics, the little fellow was in no mood for celebrating, bless his heart. I guess it really doesn't matter seeing how the kid probably doesn't even know what the hell is going on. However, The Game's oldest son, Harlem (who will be 5 next month) looked as if he had the time of his life! Check out the pictures below.

In other Game news, word around the web is that the rapper is looking to sign the dude-- (who goes by the name Glen the Barber) responsible for lullubying Suge Knight's big 6'3, 2008 pound ass into a concrete nap earlier this month...which was all caught on tape--to his Black Wall Street record label. As for if he has any rhyming skills or other musical talents to speak of is unknown. There has also been talk of a rematch between former big bully Suge and 'The Kid who Knocked Knight Out.' According to tmz.com several Las Vegas promoters -- including Jeff Beacher of Beacher's Madhouse -- have invited Suge Knight and the "Knockout Kid" to face up in a bare-knuckled cage match.

DUDE WHO KNOCKED SUGE THE HELL OUT SAYS SUGE MISUNDERSTOOD AN ARGUEMENT AS BEING SERIOUS WHEN IT WASN'T SERIOUS AT ALL. MMMM-HMMMM.

This whole 'Suge, you got knocked the f*ck out!' is thisclose to taking its toll on the big, brown bully of a grizzly bear and even closer to giving him more than enough reasons to retaliate. And once he gets word that ol dude (who is pictured above) is talking to the press about the knock-out, ain't no telling how he's going to act. The man who claims to be behind Suge Knight's knockout punch has emerged. According to TMZ.com, dude is a barbershop owner in Los Angeles who is friends with the man Knight was trying to defend in the now infamous altercation outside of Hollywood's Shag nightclub. The brawler, who would not give his name, yet is pictured on TMZ, says he was playfully arguing about money with the mutual friend when the former music mogul misunderstood and thought it was serious. When Suge tried to defend his friend, fisticuffs jumped off and the barber – all of 5'10" and 173 lbs – delivered the punch that knocked 6'3", 315 lb Knight unconscious for a good three minutes, according to the Web site.

Dude, for real, you may want to look into changing the names and social security numbers of your entire family...play cousins included, and maybe even consider some facial plastic surgery before relocating to Timbuktu because the block is about to get hot. Run, n!ggah, run!!! Save yourself! There's a reason why he didn't press charges on you.

Meanwhile, the author of a new book about Knight's former Death Row partner, Dr. Dre and West Coast hip hop, fears a war may have been started by the knockout punch. Bruce Williams, whose book Rollin' With Dre is in stores now from Ballantine/Random House, said in a statement Monday: "Although it goes against my gut feeling of how he’ll handle this situation, I hope and pray that Suge doesn't do anything stupid and lets this thing go. Suge Knight has long been someone who has no problems using violence to handle business," Williams stated. "I’ve seen what he’s capable of first-hand and wrote in detail about some of these instances in my book, Rollin' With Dre. It’s unfortunate that this incident has occurred because it is likely that more people will want to test Suge to make a name for themselves, which in turn means more violence. Although I’m sure there are countless people who are relieved to see something like this happen to Suge, all it means to me is retaliation is almost certain. The fact that Suge did not bother to press charges against his assailant makes me certain of it."

SUGE KNIGHT TO LAPD: 'I'LL HANDLE MY OWN ASS KICKING.'

Boy, somebody is asking for a death wish! Hip-Hop mogul Marion “Suge” Knight was assaulted and involved in an altercation with an unknown man in front of a Hollywood nightclub last night (May 10). Knight was at Shag nightclub when he began arguing with another man, reportedly over money. According to reports, Knight and his entourage assaulted the man, who managed to land a blow which knocked Knight unconscious for almost three minutes. An unknown woman who attempted to commandeer an SUV and transport Knight to the hospital struck the vehicles in front and in back of her, before security removed her from the driver’s seat. Knight was taken to a local hospital and treated for minor wounds. He did not file a police report and allegedly refused to cooperate with Los Angeles Police Department officers.

THROWBACK PICS: MAIA CAMPBELL IN KING MAG; ACTRESS DISHED ON SUGE, SHAQ & JAY-Z.

**BUMPING UP AN OLDIE, BUT GOODIE. BLOG ENTRY ORIGINALLY PUBLISHED ON NOVEMBER 6, 2007 (CLICK HERE TO READ THE COMMENTS)**

This girl! Bless her heart. I've always been a fan of her and her mother. But for her to be such a beautiful girl, the craziness she once embraced wasn't a good look at all. I just want her to get better....to get the help her mother so desperately wanted for her before she passed away. Here I was thinking her mental illness had gotten worse within the past couple of years, but low and behold I find this excerpt from her 2002 King magazine interview which proves, at least to me, she'd been a bit off for a while now.

However, that was then, these days, from my understanding, Maia has pulled herself together since the death of her mother, best-selling author Bebe Moore Campbell. Moore Campbell died at the age of 56 on November 27, 2006 from complications related to brain cancer...just one day after Maia's 30th birthday. It's no secret that Maia, who scored the biggest role of her career as 'Tiffany Warren' on UPN's In the House, privately battled drug abuse. Soon as the hit sitcom was canceled, rumors of Maia's drug abuse and erratic behavior around Hollywood began to swarm around the Internet and beyond. In the July 2004 issue of Sister 2 Sister magazine, Maia candidly admitted to abusing drugs while vehemently denying rumors that she's a certified nut job. 'I am not a psycho. There's a rumor going around that I'm a psycho,' Maia told the magazine. The actress's rapid decline into drugs and whispers of the beauty being bi-polar is what some believed was the catalyst that strained her relationship with her mother. And some speculate Bebe's last novel, 72 Hour Hold, was loosely based on her relationship with her daughter.....

...Whatever the case may be, Maia says she was able to make peace with her mother before she passed away. And I know from from personal experience (I lost my father to bone cancer in 2005) that a moment like that is a truly welcoming comfort as well as one of the most precious privileges God can ever bestow upon you. Some say Maia has gotten herself together and has become stronger since her mother's untimely death. Maia says she now finds happiness from the love she feels for her family, true friends, her profound belief in God and everything else that makes life worth living, bless her heart. It's true what they say: Loosing a loved one can have one of two effects on a person. Either you'll fall by the wayside something terrible OR you'll get your dusty ass up, brush yourself off and get back on the right track in order to move on with your life.

These days Maia is busy taking care of her young daughter, Elizabeth Elisha Gutierrez (who is named after Maia's mother) and operating her production company, MCC which is a multi-tasked business that provides today's film and television culture with quality entertainment.

It makes me feel good to be able to write such a positive story on her because Lord knows there aren't too many out there. I just hope in the future I can continue to post more inspiring stories involving her.

Let's continue to hope and pray for the best for her.

RUMOR OR REAL: SUGE KNIGHT AND PIRU GANG MEMBERS BANNED FROM COMPTON?

Seeking to further curb criminal activities, Compton has asked a judge to ban individuals identified as members of the Mob Piru street gang -- including rap mogul Marion "Suge" Knight -- from congregating in a northeast neighborhood. Using a strategy employed by other crime-ridden communities, the court order would be the first gang injunction in a city with a long history of battling street gangs. Authorities contend that the Mob Piru gang has terrorized the neighborhood for years, with buying and selling of drugs, discharging firearms, robbing and assaulting residents and by creating an atmosphere of fear and intimidation.

For the last two years, a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department gang task force has worked to get gang members off the streets with aggressive enforcement of immigration, housing and parole violations. "We've done it without an injunction," said Lt. Paul Pietrantoni, who heads the task force. "We have the lowest murder rate in 20 years in Compton. The injunction is just going to give us one more tool." But the proposed injunction is expected to be controversial because community leaders and others say it opens the door to police harassment of innocent residents. Knight, who is listed as a defendant, dismissed the injunction as "a publicity stunt."

"This is crazy," said Knight, co-founder of Death Row Records. "I'm a 42-year-old businessman, not a gang member. I don't even live in Compton anymore...This injunction names people who are already in jail -- and at least one guy who is long dead."

Henry "Hendog" Smith, who is also named in the injunction, was shot to death in 2002, according to news reports. Mob Piru members have gained widespread notoriety for their alleged links to Knight and Death Row Records, once home to some of rap's biggest names. But sheriff's officials say the gang is on the decline. The injunction would ban the estimated 200 members of the gang from congregating, carrying guns, using gang gestures, spray-painting graffiti, fighting or drinking alcohol in public and staying out past 10 p.m. Violators would be subject to arrest on misdemeanor charges, which could bring a $1,000 fine or up to one year in jail.

CELEB CANDIDS: BEYONCE, JOHN LEGEND, BILLY DEE WILLIAMS, MARY J. BLIGE, SUGE KNIGHT.

Here's several pics of Beyonce cold-chilling with members of her (male and female) dancers, background singers and all-female band. According to one of her many, many fansites, these images are supposedly from her Beyonce Experience DVD release party...however, it looks to me as if she's just being laid back while hanging out with her touring crew...a group of folks who she says she considers family. Well, literally a couple of them are indeed related to her. The two guys on the far left in the second pic in the second row are actually Bey's cousins.
