Former heavyweight champ Muhammad Ali's 14th Annual Celebrity Fight Night Saturday night (April 5, 2008) at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa in Scottsdale, Arizona. The event raises money for the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center. Ali has been fighting his entire life. Once the most sought-after professional boxer, Ali fought mainly with his fists. But now he finds himself fighting a different kind of fight: the fight against Parkinson's disease. In an effort to raise money for the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center at Barrow Neurological Institute, and in addition to many other charities, Celebrity Fight Night offered a night filled with live auctions and musical performances from today's stars. What began as an actual celebrity fight event, sparring celebrities against one another in a boxing ring, is now a more traditional fundraising event. In the 13 years that Celebrity Fight Night has been held, over more than $45 million has been raised for charity.

Celebs in attendance included: Dionne Warrick, Whitney Houston, Clive Davis, Terry Crews, Beverly Todd, Jordin Sparks, Tamia, Holly Robinson-Peete, Shaquille O'Neal and his wife Shaunie, Reba McEntire, Kevin Costner, Ray Lewis, Sinbad and more.

'THE STUPID SH!T CELEBS SAY': SNOOP DOG: 'HOW MANY UGLY WOMEN SELLING RECORDS? NONE!'

I tell ya. The higher a monkey climbs, the more his monkey-ass shows. I think Snoop's 'medicinal' marijuana has officially scabbed the few remaining brain cells he has left. Of all the stupid things to say, he goes on a rampant declaring only the beautiful women in music sell the most records. If that's not the dumbest shit I've ever heard, I don't know what is. So is it safe to assume that when he says he's naming no names, he's really calling out such underrated singers like Tamia, Deborah Cox, Vivian Green and dare I say KELLY ROWLAND, who haven't sold double and triple platinum-selling albums? I beg to differ. These three women are as beautiful...and in a couple of cases, more beautiful than the singers Snoop named. This niggah, here!

You still sound like a walking-out-of-the-house-wearing-a-blue-showercap-clown. Trust. Anyhoo, the rapper also called himself sounding off on the way women are portrayed in hip-hop videos....

NEW MUSIC NEWS: TAMIA TO RELEASE CHRISTMAS RECORDING, 'A GIFT BETWEEN FRIENDS.'

Tamia, arguably one of R&B's most loved and underrated artists is releasing her first Christmas recording with a limited edition 3 song CD, titled A Gift Between Friends. The singer, whose career has been highlighted by two certified gold albums, will showcase her melodically-tuned vocals on 3 tracks, Christmas Medley (which consists of traditional classics O' Holy Night, Winter Wonderland and Let It Snow), This Christmas and the classic original The Christmas Song. All tracks were produced and arranged by Tamia's longtime producer and collaborator, Shep Crawford. Crawford is also responsible for the singer's Top 5 smash single, Stranger In My House from her 2001 Nu Day album.

And before you all ask, 'Why are there only 3 songs?' There's only 3 songs because this recording is basically a prequel to the full Christmas album which Tamia will release next year. Hence the title, A Gift Between Friends. FYI, the Christmas recording is a bonus cd included in Tamia's Between Friends double cd set. It's scheduled to hit record stores on October 23, 2007.

NEW PIC: GRANT & TAMIA HILL IN PEOPLE MAG W/THEIR 2 DAUGHTERS

NBA baller Grant Hill and his wife, singer Tamia are featured in this week's (October 15) issue of People magazine with their daughters, Myla, 5-years-old, and newborn Lael Rose. In the article, Tamia, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis-- a chronic disease that affects the central nervous symptom--four years old, discusses the effects her illness placed on her pregnancy. She said, 'Pregnancy hormones actually helped minimize the symptoms. 'I was so happy to tell everyone that I felt great...that MS doesn't mean a death sentence.'

While Tamia is home taking care of the couple's 2 girls, Grant, will soon begin his 14th year in the NBA with the Phoenix Suns. The soft-spoken gentlemen says he's dreading his return to the basketball court. 'During Myla's first year, I was injured, so I was home all the time. I could play with her anytime I wanted and I knew everything that happened. Now that I'm back on the court, I will have to travel, and that's going to be tough, he says.
