BOBBY BROWN BLASTS WHITNEY & THEIR MARRIAGE IN NEW TELL-ALL BOOK, 'THE TRUTH, THE WHOLE TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT.'
Well this is a shock to me. Bobby Brown will be releasing his autobiography Bobby Brown: The Truth, the Whole Truth and Nothing But in May. I didn't even think he could read and write. You learn something new everyday. Anyhoo, in his new memoirs the Mr. Bi-polar blasts Whitney and accuses her of being the force who drove him into the dismal world drug addiction. "I never used cocaine until after I met Whitney. Before then, I had experimented with other drugs, but marijuana was my drug of choice," Brown writes. "At one point in my life, I used drugs uncontrollably. I was using everything I could get my hands on, from cocaine to heroin, weed and cooked cocaine." As far as his 15-year marriage to Houston is concerned, it "was doomed from the very beginning. Within the first year we separated, with several more to follow," Brown writes. "I think we got married for all the wrong reasons. Now, I realize Whitney had a different agenda than I did when we got married...I believe her agenda was to clean up her image, while mine was to be loved and have children."CONTINUE READING MORE EXCERPTS FROM BROWN'S TELL-ALL BOOK AFTER THE JUMP!
Whitney, he alleges, had been under "a lot of pressure. The media was accusing her of having a bisexual relationship with her assistant, Robin Crawford. Since she was the American Sweetheart and all, that didn't go too well with her image...In Whitney's situation, the only solution was to get married and have kids. That would kill all speculation, whether it was true or not. In the short, I think I got caught up in the politics and ended up marrying one of the biggest stars in the world." But Brown notes that he was no saint in their relationship, confessing in his book, "I am guilty of sleeping with other women...Women are always throwing themselves at you. I'm only human, so I would make the mistake and bite the hook sometimes . . . I let the testosterone take over." One of his most public indiscretions was an affair with former exotic dancer Karrine "Superhead" Steffans. "Yes, I've slept with her," he confesses. "Yes, I've spent several nights at her house. But she was only good for what her nickname stood for."

PHILLY DJ, GOLDENGIRL WRITES SEXUALLY EXPLICIT TELL-ALL BOOK; DISHES FREAKY DETAILS ON ALLEN IVERSON, RALPH TRESVANT, LIL KIM...
I told yall before that I was allergic to (posting) bullshit. This next post is no exception. Just when I thought I had heard the last of any female media personality writing and releasing a so-called tell-all book expounding upon her trysts with various pro-athletes, rappers, singers and actors, it happens again. And I don't have a problem telling you all that the only reason why I'm entertaining this latest 'memoir' is because it involves two people who have become one of my favorite celeb couples: Janet and Jermaine Dupri and a member of my favorite R&B male group in the history of the universal and whole, wide world galaxy of the Mother Earth and beyond: New Edition. Let the records show, that I don't play when it comes to the guys of New Edition....with the exception of Bobby! For those of you who don't know, a Philadelphia-based radio personality who goes by the name of Goldengirl (real name Lisa Natson) has released a self-published tell-all book a la Confessions of a Video Vixen, entitled Sex & Celebrities: The Truth, the Whole Truth, The Naked Truth in which she explicitly chronicle her sex-filled days and nights with celebrities such as Allen Iverson, Jim Jones, Ice-T and his wife Coco (though it wouldn't surprise me to read anything pertaining to their 'lifestyle'), Lil Kim and Ralph Tresvant.
In one chapter GG reveals the details of her 'two years of pure hell' relationship with Tresvant, claiming she not only loaned him $50,000 (which he still hasn't paid back) but he then knocked her up and suggested she terminate the pregnancy...that he would pay for. She also said whenever Ralph was out on the road, he would often request phone sex with her on the regular. Shit, what man you know wouldn't? However, her relationship with Allen Iverson didn't parallel her relationship to Ralph at all. In another chapter, GG admits A.I. gave her 'the best sex of her life.' She hooked up with the baller early in his career and before he married his current wife. She said, "Once during the playoffs I knew he wouldn't get back to the hotel before morning, so I figured I'd get it right there at the stadium." She went on to say that there sexual escapades occurred in the most un-traditional places: like in the front seat of his Bentley....while he was driving. My eyes won't stop throwing up.
TO CONTINUE READING GG'S ACCOUNT OF HER RELATIONSHIP WITH ALLEN IVERSON AND THE TRUE DETAILS ON THAT STEAMY LIL KIM EXCERPT & TO VIEW PICS OF GG WITH EVE, KANYE, BUFFIE & RIHANNA, 'CLICK READ MORE AFTER THE JUMP!' ON THE BOTTOM LEFT.
HERE'S THE UPDATE: Can I keep it real? Just look at Goldengirl. Now do you all thik Lil Kim would ever engage in a girl-on-girl tryst with her? Really? The only time GG could ever display her lesbians wants and needs upon Lil Kim would be in her dreams. And that's exactly what happened. This excerpt is just a portion of a chapter in GG's book where she lays in ink her fantasies of romancing the Real Black Barbee, Lil Kim. There you have it, folks. It was all a dream. I have to give a shout out my reader dressygirl for bring this information my way ater she read Goldengirl's book.
As a bonus, Natson also gives women tips on how to improve their oral-game, how to find their A-spot instead of their G-spot, the secret to driving your lover/jump-off over the top and the top ten taboo sexcapades to ponder.
I swear this shit is getting old. Can this 'check the neck' so-called chick be any more pressed? This is the same woman who filed a $85 million lawsuit against rapper Fabolous afer he allegedly watched and videotaped one of his bodyguards beat her ass down in a parking lot outside of one of his shows. And from what I've been told Natson began selling her book out of her aunt's hair salon and at some bookstore in front of XH bus stop in Philly. If it's sold anywhere else, yall will have to find it for yourselves. I can't even entertain this anymore. I'm just fulfilling my blogging duties in order to bring you all a bit of celebrity gossip and entertainment. LOL! Happy reading! Now, where's my Benadryl?

Natson, who hosts two late-night adult-themed shows (Lovetalk and Slow Jamz) on Philly's Power 99, says she was able to write the book in one short month due to her elephant-like memory, claiming once she started writing, the words just fell from the lips of her mouth. "I didn't have to think about it. The stories and the trysts and the celebrities are all actual stories. That's why I named it Sex & Celebrities: The Truth, the Whole Truth, The Naked Truth. You will not put the book down from start to finish," says the newbie author. Ummm-hmmm.

TODAY'S BLACK WOMAN MAG READERS VOICE THEIR OUTRAGE AT SEEING KARRINE STEFFANS ON THEIR NOV. '07 ISSUE.
Tsk, tsk, tsk. Some of you all may remember celebrity jump-off-turned-best selling author, Karrine 'Superhead' Steffans, disgracefully covered the November '07 issue of Today's Black Woman magazine, a publication which prides itself on displaying and representing the positive and unique lifestyles of the African-American woman while providing advice and information on the subjects of love, sex and relationships for the contemporary Black woman, whether single, married, divorced, or leading an alternative lifestyle. Some folks (myself included) believe a woman of Steffans' caliber does not exude the magazine's creed. Especially when she's still living the same lifestyle she spoke about in her first book. Her tainted past and present history is something no credible urban media outlet should praise. Yeah, I said it. This is the same woman who flops into bed or drops to her knees for whatever celebrity is hot at the moment; she stayed under Ja Rule and Irv Gotti when Murder Inc. owned the music charts several years ago. Usher, Shaquille O'Neal, Jay-Z, Vin Diesel, Bobby Brown, Ray J. and an unidentified celebrity she refers to as 'Papa' in (Confessions of a Video Vixen) reputations were also contaminated (more than they were before) when they fell, purposefully or accidentally, into her web.
These days, she goes back and forth when discussing her relationships with celebrities such as Lil Wayne and Darius McCrary who have become, more or less her dual soul mates. Oh, and let's not forget the porn movies she starred in where she can be seen giving porn star, Mr. Marcus, (in g-rated terms), a 'snot-rag' procedure. But don't get me wrong, the men who willingly engaged in these festering sexual activities with her are as much to blame as she is. This woman is a habitual liar and should be immediately fitted for one of those white strappy jackets with the extra long sleeves and numerous buckles that make you hug yourself when you're wearing it. Yes, a strait jacket. And what really puts the lid on the jar is the fact that she's a mother raising a nine year old son. Therefore and thus and such, TBW editors had to have known that by placing her on the cover of their magazine, they'd be bombarded with upset readers who asked the same question: 'Why would you put a woman like her on the cover of a reputable and respectable Black magazine cover?'One irate reader said 'there should be a boycott of the magazine.' Adding, 'How could you be so irresponsible? You actually place that tramp in the position of representing today's Black women? If this was just a stunt on your part to drum up sales, it was a lowdown, dirty, cheap shot and you deserve to lose your job over it. You do not deserve another opportunity to speak for or represent Black women in any form or fashion. I, for one, will never buy another copy of your idiotic magazine.'
AFTER THE JUMP, READ MORE LETTERS FROM DISGRUNTLED READERS AS WELL AS READERS WHO SYMPATHIZE & DEFEND KARRINE'S BEHAVIOR.
Other readers referred to Steffans as 'plain and nasty,' adding, 'She is not the representation of today's black woman in my eyes. She is more like today's video 'ho' turned professional 'ho.'
Another reader said: Successful author Karrine Steffans appears on the cover of Today's Black Woman magazine. I have no problem with the former video-model-turned-author being on the cover. TBW signifies women who have achieved success despite the odds and the many obstacles that lay before them. Karrine has earned the distinction of being a cover girl. She went from being a video ho and jump-off to [being] a successful author who is now worth at least a million. Some of us try to pretend that there isn't a little bit of Karrine in all of us. I am regularly chastised for celebrating successful jump-offs when the truth is most of you would die to be in their shoes. The difference between you and them is courage and high self-esteem. It takes courage to make that leap from working for Uncle Sam to working independently towards your goal. And it takes high self-esteem to think you are better than most of the chickenheads who regularly vie for your target's attention. That's why chickenheads are so many and jump-offs are so few.
Instead of bashing the jump-offs, we should learn from them because there is more to jump-offs than just laying on their backs. Yes, I know lives and hearts are hurt in the process. But that's why God tests us--to make us stronger. There is nothing wrong with a woman using her God-given talents to make a better life for herself and her child. If Karrine's rags-to-riches story motivates even one young woman to achieve greatness, then isn't her cover story worth it.

"I would like to know how anyone could decide to put this person Karrine Steffans on the cover of a magazine called Today's Black Woman. Is this your way of saying all Black women are whores and this is how we should make our living and get ahead in life? Is this the model for how we should behave and what we should do to get our 15 minutes of fame? To put this person on the cover of a magazine entitled Today's Black Woman is not only an insult to all Black women in general but especially those of us who are professionals. I feel that any professional Black woman or any Black woman who has an ounce of common sense or pride in herself would never debase herself and buy this magazine again. Is this how you tell the next generation of young Black women to support themselves? They should all become video vixens, be called 'Superhead,' and be known for how many men they have slept with and/or performed oral sex on?
You should be ashamed of yourselves for promoting and encouraging this kind of indecent behavior. And then you wonder why other nationalities look down on African Americans. Funny thing is, I am not even American. I proudly let everyone know I am from the Caribbean and that African American women are stupid for even supporting this slut. Buy her book? For what? So she can laugh her way to the bank? Buying her book doesn't support you or me and I don't need to read the book to know who she had sex with. It's all online--for free. I feel sorry for African Americans as a whole, but especially the women, because if you can take pride in this and glorify these actions, you deserve to be called all the names that those rappers, whose music you love to dance to, call you."

"I have no sympathy for any woman who lives this life and uses the raising of their child as an excuse. I am a single mom who has raised one daughter and have one to go. It was hard, but I did it and am doing it. My kids have never had to experience being poor, homeless or deprived of anything. I worked, went to college and got three degrees. Now, I am not trying to brag, just trying to say that if God can enable me to do all of that and raise two daughters, He will do it for anyone. We as women short change ourselves so much and we need to stop. We are mighty women and we need to walk in that victory. Karrine had self-esteem issues and she talks about that. She wasn't as strong at the time she was laying down letting men use her body for the taking. However, she claims to have risen above that. Now, if she would just keep Christ in her life, who knows what wonders He will allow her to perform."

"Although most of my peers have rushed to judgment on Karrine Steffans, she is not a creature from another planet. The vitriolic name-calling that I've heard some sisters engage in when discussing this woman simply disgusts me. And, no, I am not endorsing her lifestyle or her behavior. What the Karrine Steffans' of the world do, however, in no way do I feel reflects me. Therefore, I am not threatened by it. Unfortunately, Black people have a tendency to obsess over what other people think of them based on the ugly and negative actions of people of their own kind. Once you start to think that way, you are doomed. Self-esteem means believing that your actions will speak for themselves. Just because one Black person is a thief, a liar, a murderer, a rapist or a woman of questionable reputation doesn't mean that we all are that way.
Karrine Steffans is much discussed in our community. As such, she is a controversial public figure, whose books, by the way, were probably bought mostly by Black women who simply wanted to be titillated by her tell-all stories about celebrities and then turn around to spit on her. But guess what? In doing so, they made her the newsworthy, magazine coverworthy, wealthy and famous personality she has become. I think we all need to take a deep look inside ourselves before we start pointing fingers elsewhere and reflect on the hypocrisy in our hearts before we begin to dehumanize another human being. 'Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.'"

KARRINE STEFFANS BLAMES 'SUB-JOURNALISTIC BLOGGERS' FOR CREATING RUMORS ABOUT HER STARTING A RAP CAREER.
I know good and well she ain't talking about me. That's for damn sure. But I bet you dollars to donuts I know what particular no-merit having website/blog she is referring to. Hmmm.Former video vixen Karrine 'Superhead' Steffans has slammed reports she is signing a deal with Eddie Murphy's record label. The former pornography actress-turned-author had been widely reported to be trying her hand at a rap career, following the success of her controversial memoirs charting her numerous sexual conquests in the hip hop world, Confessions of A Video Vixen. But in a statement released by her publicist, the 29-year-old - who tells Sister 2 Sister magazine she's 'married' to former Family Matters actor Darius McCrary - insists she has "no interest" in releasing a record and blames over-zealous internet bloggers for letting the rumor run wild.
She says, "I am not signed to any recording deal or to any other type of deal with Mr. Murphy. I am not, and have no interest in being, a musician of any kind. I am focused on my third book, upcoming magazine column, radio and reality shows. This is just another example of how these sub-journalistic bloggers create and spread false information daily. Luckily, this time it was not a hurtful rumor. I urge the general public and major news media to be skeptical of unwarranted information and take such reports with a grain of salt."

KARRINE EXPLAINS HER 'MARRIAGE' TO DARIUS McCRARY; SPILLS THE TEA ON LIL WAYNE, DARIUS' FAMILY & MORE.
KARRINE ON HER MARRIAGE TO DARIUS McCRARY: 'Darius is my husband. Darius and I are married. It's confusing, I know. But when a man walks around with a ring on his wedding finger and tells everyone on the set of his new film that this is his wife, not too many people are going to be able to keep their mouth shut about that.
JAMIE: Karrine, did you all have a ceremony?
KARRINE: Yep.
JAMIE: Why wasn't I invited?
KARRINE: Because Darius and I, we're not going to do things traditionally...
JAMIE: You're not going to let the world know?
KARRINE: No.
ME:What in the hell.....?
We have made a commitment to one another. We call ourselves husband and wife, he wears my ring and I wear his. Darius and I don't want to have a paper wedding at this point in our lives, but we wanted to make a commitment to each other and to our families and let people know that we are together and we consider ourselves husband and wife because that's the way he introduces me to everyone. We're very much together. I don't know. What did yall hear? Because Darius was gone for five days because we were figuring out what we were doing. No one understands my relationship with Darius. Even though people in his life, my life also, they can't understand it, we're still made for one another and love each other.
KARRINE ON DARIUS' DECISION TO MOVE IN WITH HER: He moved in in July. He had told me he was with Shakiri (Hightower) until July...but all of a sudden something just clicked and he was like, 'I don't need to be there. I want to be with you. What am I doing over there? I belong here.' So that was a decision he made after a day of being at my house with me. He came and he moved in. Only because my son's school is here, we decided that we would stay in my house until we buy a bigger house together. So he liquidated all his stuff and his properties or whatever. Everything was fine. He's been living here since July.
KARRINE ON DARIUS FIVE DAY LONG EXCURSION AWAY FROM HER: Well he was gone for five days. Yes, Darius left me for five days to give me time to look at the scenario. And within those five days, because I love him so much, I miss him, I couldn't even get out of bed for five days. But talking to him in those five days and pointing out these things to me, the way he described me to myself is the way I describe my mother to some people. That's when it hit me, like, I am turning into my mother, and my mother's 47 and by herself. Three kids by three different men. Nobody ever stayed, nobody ever married her, nobody ever even moved in. I never had a man around me. My son never had a man around him that way. And so here was Darius who loves me uncontrollably, who loves my son, and who will say, 'I love your son,' which is something (my son's) own father has never said to him. My son never heard that from a man. So my son and I had to learn and adapt to having a real man at home loving us. So he gave me that time. I know he was angry. I'm a bit of a bitch to he honest; I'm am overbearing bitch, which is a curse.
So you must have spoken to him in those five days and then he came back home. And we needed that time because I was gone for a while and he was in transition. He's been home. So you spoke to him in a five-day window. He's home and we're more committed now more than ever. There's some things we had to get taken care of because I had a habit of--because I've been alone for so long, I've been running my life by myself for so long, it's difficult to know how to let a man come in and be the husband and lead a little.
KARRINE ON HOW DARIUS' FAMILY FEELS ABOUT HER: His mom loves my son. His mom loves me. It's the whole family here. Sister and brother and they're like, 'oh, we love Karrine!' There's a whole unity here and its not just me and this guy like it was me and Bill (Maher).
KARRINE ON DARIUS LEAVING HER IN THE DARK ABOUT HIS S2S INTERVIEW: This is my first time hearing that Darius spoke to you. I think Darius was speaking to you from a place of hurt and saying things that other people wanted him to say. Because he was only gone five days. He went and talked to you then came home and didn't tell me a thing. I can't believe he didn't tell me this! But it's okay, because my Wayne article comes out in VIBE in a couple of weeks. We're going to confuse everyone.

TOP 10 BLACK WOMEN (W/ONE EXCLUDED) WE LOVE TO HATE.
Kimora Lee Simmons annoys the world with her braying loud voice and her over-the-top sense of fashion. Not to mention, she stole that hottie Djimon Hounsou right from under the noses of women everywhere. Despite her antics on hit TV series Life in the Fab Lane Kimora Lee Simmons is a fashionista with a cause. Her jewelry line is producing the Green Bracelet, shown here, with part of its proceeds going to help African initiatives. Gotta love that.
Kim Kardashian came into prominence with the release of a sex tape with Brandy's little brother Ray Jay, making her yet another Hollywood princess to come to prominence for dubious activities. We hate her for getting so much play for so little talent. To everyone's surprise Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim's new show, is a huge hit. It takes a lot of courage to really bare all -- about your life, not your body that is. We love her for finding a way to turn scandal into triumph.
Tiffany "New York" Pollard has brought black female buffoonery to new levels on her reality series I Love New York on VH1. She even makes transvestites cringe at her over-inflated breasts. We love New York for stretching 15 minutes of fame into two seasons. If self-marketing is the art form of the 21st century, New York deserves a Pulitzer Prize in a specially-created category.
We hate Tyra Banks because she thinks being a black supermodel is a humanitarian cause. She has compared herself to black leaders who have promoted equality, because she was the first solo black model on the cover of Sports Illustrated. Tyra, get a clue and respect your ancestors. While she may not be the Rosa Parks of the 21st century, Ms. Banks is a bankable star, who has been able to parlay that Sports Illustrated cover into two hit television shows. She is an inspiration to young women everywhere, so even if she needs a history lesson we salute her.
We hate Star Jones for denying that she had gastric bypass surgery for four years. She lied to the public. And we knew anyway. Despite our resentment, we love Star for finally coming out as it were. By admitting to having had gastric bypass surgery, it will help others to more easily make this choice for their health. For this we are grateful.
Karrine Steffans is something that everybody in the hip-hop industry hates -- a snitch. In her best-selling book Confessions of a Video Vixen, Steffans rats out all the famous men she has been with. As a veteran in the field of "thug" entertainers, she should know better. Even if "snitches get stitches," this snitch has parlayed being a video ho into fame and fortune. Rather than just being kicked to the curb like so many, Steffans used her brain to make something out of her experiences, thus beating many players at their game.
We hate Robin Givens for her gold digging ways. It was clear to everybody but Mike that she was into him for the money. It's hard to like somebody who would use somebody for his wealth. We love Robin for working hard in her maturity to make the best of what life she has left. After leaving a marriage to Mike Tyson that included abuse, Givens has penned a memoir and will soon return to the big screen as the star of a Wendy Williams biopic. There is nothing like a survivor, and for that we love her.
Miss Oprah may have the hearts of millions on one big leash, but she is still a human being who has exercised a lot of bad judgment in the last year. Maybe her ego is blinding her to the details of her businesses and initiatives. We love Oprah, despite recent slip-ups, for owning up to every mistake and doing everything she can to make amends. She is not perfect, but then again, neither are we.
Condi Rice is a woman who is easy to hate. As few blacks are big fans of the Republican party, seeing one of our own defect to the other side definitely raises both eyebrows. The word sell-out is coming to our lips. We love her for being the first black woman to become Secretary of State. She is also only the second woman to hold the position. Amazing. Gotta love it, regardless of your feelings about her politics.
We'll be the millionth person to say it. Sit down Bey(once). Having just released a performance DVD of the world tour that nobody wanted to see, and a branded cell phone, we are sure that Beyonce Knowles and clan are sitting around somewhere thinking of some to way to over-expose their eldest daughter Hate it or love it, B is still rocking it. In a recent Black Voices interview, even the legendary Patti LaBelle gave Beyonce props. B can sing, dance, act and promote the hell out of any product. We have to love a successful, beautiful black woman who keeps bringing it. Posted by SouthernGurl at 12:40 PM 7 comments
