RUMOR OR REAL: CHILLI (OF TLC) STILL COURTING CNN ACHORMAN T.J. HOLMES?

I'm going to have to classify this bit of 'info' as a rumor (read my reasons below) until proven otherwise. It seems as though TLC's sexy component Rozonda 'Chilli' Thomas is still dating CNN News anchorman T.J. Holmes, according to Star magazine who also claim the alleged couple are discussing marriage:

TLC star Rozonda 'Chilli' Thomas has found love after Usher, in the form of CNN News anchorman T.J. Holmes. Four years after her high profile split with the R&B artist, Thomas has been dating Holmes for a year, and the couple are discussing marriage. A friend tells Star, "It's getting serious. She says this is so different from any other relationship she's had - that it's so wonderful. They are madly in love."

If you ask me, someone has given Star magazine some really outdated information. Therefore and thus and such, let me tell you why I have a couple of issues with this story. I was well aware that yes, Chilli and TJ Holmes were an item from November of 2006 to mid-2007. She talked about their relationship in XXL magazine's XXL Presents Hip-Hop Soul Summer issue (June 2007). She said, 'He's so much different than all my past relationships. I just held out, waited and met him. Everybody's shocked. They're so use to me dropping guys real fast.' And she wasn't lying.

It just so happen their brief romance hit the skids before that issue hit newsstands (you can view her XXL photospread here ). Chilli later told the Admin of an official TLC fansite that she 'wants to be with a guy at age 50 and still love him as much as day 1.'

As I previously reported, there's been talk of Chilli starring in her own reality show that will focus on her trying to find the right man. Girl, don't do it! There's a big difference in being desperate and being lonely.

IN TODAY'S 'THIS NIGGAH, HERE' EDITION: LIL WAYNE: 'TALK TO ME LIKE YOU TALK TO MARTIN.... '

Have you ever read something that someone had said that was so outrageous and unbelievable, it made you wanna just throw your hands up in frustration and yell out, 'This niggah, here!' Well, that's what I did while reading an excerpt from Lil Wayne's interview in XXL magazine.

Rapper Lil Wayne stunned a journalist when he demanded the writer treat him on a par with late civil rights campaigner Martin Luther King, Jr. The star - real name Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. - surprised an interviewer for XXL magazine when he likened himself to African American icons Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X. Asked about the perception he's over-saturating the market with his music, Wayne responds, "Darling, I don't care what nobody think. Talk to me like you talk to Martin Luther King or Malcolm X. You're not going to ask him about what he thinks about what somebody said about him. You ask him about his greatness, and his greatness only. I don’t care what nobody think. If I did, you wouldn’t be sitting on my muthafuckin’ million-dollar bus in my 15th year at the same muthafuckin’ company and business.

I’m a role model. You should get like me. Get like you? No. Get like me. Ya understand me? I’m not hot. Hot dies out. Baby, I’m me. Who the fuck done this? Nobody. Compare me to people that’s not even living, baby. And they didn’t even do it—what they comparing me to. No disrespect to them. You found songs on those people after they died. I’m still living."

N!ggah, please.

NEW MAG SCANS: CHILLI IN XXL'S (HIP-HOP) MAGAZINE; TALKS SOLO DEBUT.

Earlier this morning, in my Stacey Dash blog entry, I mentioned Chilli of TLC and how it seems as if she nor Stacey never seem to age. To prove my further prove my point, here are several pics of the 36 year-old 'sexy' component of TLC, Ms. Rozonda Thomas showing off her everlasting beauty...and baby hair in XXL's Hip Hop Soul magazine's 2007 summer issue.

According to her fan site, Chilli-Online.net , the pint-sized singer, who is signed to Akon's record label Kon Live Distribution (under Interscope Records) is set to release her much long-awaited debut solo album (something she's been working on since hooking up with Usher over 6 years ago) this fall. Several of her song tracks such as Gameproof featuring her former groupmember, T-Boz, Straight Jack featuring Missy, and more recently Glidin' have all magically leaked their way onto the Internet creating a bit of buzz letting everyone know (at least those who care enough) for her soon-to-be-released solo album...6 long years in the making.

Some of the pics below were actually featured in the magazine, while some others are outtakes. Check 'em out.
