VIVICA FOX TO PU$$YCAT DOLL MELODY THORNTON: 'DON'T DATE RAPPERS.'

Um, who died and left Vivica Fox in charge of telling people who and who not to date? Especially when she can't keep a man her damn self. Maybe she's speaking from experience, because during the 2007 BET Awards back in June, the actress had the gall to tell Pussycat Dolls member Melody Thornton--who was once rumored to be dating Bow Wow--to not date rappers. What?! Thornton replied, 'And I won't ever.' What?! Girl, bye! Weren't you just spotted hand-in-hand with lil dude just last month while strolling the streets of Los Angeles all willy-nilly and whatnot?

Anyhoo, Vivica continued her mini-lecture by explaining to the singer that there are some good rappers out there (wait a minute. What's a 'good rapper'? And whose considered one?) but you have to just take your time and get to know them. Hmph! This coming from the same woman whose rapper boyfriend of about 5 minutes obtained a restraining order to keep her [Lynn Whitfield's character from A Thin Line Between Love & Hate movie] off his property and then broke up with her over the radio while she was out of the country. This was just a widely spread rumor although his camp confirmed it while her camp denied it.

In related news, BOLO (be on the look out) for Three Can Play that Game (produced by Fox) which is the sequel to Two Can Play that Game. Fox will reprise the role of Shante Smith, a relationship expert who uses her knowledge of the male psyche to help women get what they want. Morris Chestnut, Terry J. Vaughn (Lovita Alize Jenkins Robinson from The Steve Harvey Show) plays the best friend to the ladies whose relationships are being repaired by Fox's love doctor character, Jaszmin Lewis (The Barbershop 1 & 2), Jason Winston George (The Barbershop and Eve), Kellita Smith (Wanda from The Bernie Mac Show), video vixen Melyssa Ford and Chris Rock's brother, Tony (Dirk Black from All of Us), who plays that dude who swears on everything he own that he knows all there is to know when it comes to women and relationships, also star in this romantic comedy sequel.

And the synopsis alone tells me that this movie will go straight to DVD. Two Can Play that Game earned $22 million at the box office in 2001. Let's just hope that she doesn't get the urge to produce sequels to her other movies like Juwanna Mann and Kingdom Come.

O.J. SIMPSON ARRESTED & CHARGED WITH 6 FELONIES.

Some people won't rest until OJ Simpson is behind bars. If convicted, and he probably will, law enforcment authrities say he will go to jail for a long time. The only way OJ would walk is if Johnny Cochran was still alive and/or he has the same jury who acquitted him of murder over a decade ago. And well, we know neither of the aforementioned instances aren't goig to happen.

LAS VEGAS (AP) -- O.J. Simpson was arrested Sunday and faces multiple felony charges in an alleged armed robbery of collectors involving the former football great's sports memorabilia, authorities said. Simpson was arrested shortly after 11 a.m., Capt. James Dillon said. Prosecutors were planning to charge Simpson with two counts of robbery with use of a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery, burglary with a deadly weapon, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon and coercion, said Clark County District Attorney David Roger. A conviction on the most serious charge, robbery with use of a deadly weapon, could bring a sentence of three to 35 years for each count, he said. "He is facing a lot of time," Roger said.

PICS: KELIS & NAS CELEBRATE HIS 34th BIRTHDAY @ TAO BEACH IN LAS VEGAS.

Rapper/actor Nas attends his 80s-themed birthday party alongside his wife, singer Kelis and Chris Webber at the Xbox Oasis at TAO Beach at The Venetian Hotel and Casino on September 14, 2007 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Oh, and be sure to tune into Nas & Kelis' reality show aptly titled 'Me & Mrs. Jones' when it hits MTV later this year. The show will focus on the couple's marriage as well as their individual careers both at home and while on tour. Nas, who has been called by many one of the industries most mysterious rappers says he himself could not believe he was doing it. “Sometimes I feel like “This is cool, man; I have TV cameras following me wherever I go,” he says in the new issue of Fashion Rock magazine. “Other times I want to crawl under a rock. I feel like an idiot–’Did I really agree to this?’ It feels so self-absorbed, so self-indulgent.” His wife of 2 years chimed in, “It’s going to be great, baby. It has to be great, because if it’s not great we won’t let them put it on TV.”

I just hope that these two still have a marriage after their reality show ends. In more than a couple of cases, reality shows on MTV featuring celeb couples hasn't always ended in bliss. Nick and Jessica, Carmen Elektra and Dave Navarro, Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler marriages have all ended in divorce once the cameras stopped rolling. Beware Kelis and Nas. Be very aware.
