PICS: ATLANTA'S GAY PRIDE WEEKEND (*WARNING: NSFW*)

Now, I want to warn you all: several...okay, a lot of the following pics are neither safe for work or intended for young children...in fact, some of you may find a couple of images as offensive. But, hey, you can't blame folks for having a good time, can you? Therefore and thus and such, you damn sure can't say I didn't warn you.

To say Atlanta's Black Gay Pride festivities were in full effect to the nth power during Labor Day weekend would be an understatement. Scores of men and women...and women who looked like men...as well as women who were coupled up with other women who looked like men AND women...let's just say, my head became a bit befuddled trying to figure it all out! Besides, judging by the pictures posted (and snapped) by ATL photographer Sandra Rose, one can easily assess to the fact that the gays and lesbians who descended upon the A(TL) were not coy at all when it came to getting their party on! Did I mention that there were a pictures of couples in which I had the hardest time trying to figure out the ones who were biologically women? It was that serious. Anyhoo, a hefty handful of celebs such as: (A.N.T.M. winner) Eva Marcille, (Floetry's) Marsha Ambrosius, Danity Kane member, D. Woods with one of the members from her other girl group, The Girls Club; and former Destiny Child member-turned-solo-artist Letoya Luckett also made appearances at the events which were held at several Atlanta hotspots: Fever, Star Island, Body Tap and Endenu.

VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED.

EDDIE GRIFFIN LEARNS THE HARD WAY THAT YOU CAN'T USE THE N-WORD ALL WILLY-NILLY AND WHATNOT.

If comedian Eddie Griffin didn't know the N-word was banned and buried, he found out when the publisher of Black Enterprise magazine pulled the plug on his raunchy standup routine. Griffin, who headlined a soldout show at Black Enterprise's 14th annual Golf and Tennis Challenge in Miami on Friday, was about 10 minutes into his N-word-laced act when publisher Earl Graves turned off the mike. Minutes later, Graves appeared onstage with a cord and plug in one hand and a working microphone in the other. He told the audience at the posh Doral Golf Resort that Griffin's microphone had been turned off because he repeatedly used the N-word.

Graves, a prominent businessman whose Labor Day weekend event attracts corporate sponsors like Aetna, Pepsi and FedEx, got a standing ovation. He said Griffin, 39, would be paid.

Attendees said Griffin - who has appeared in Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, Undercover Brother and Scary Movie 3 - sauntered onto the stage smoking a cigarette. He yelled "F--- y'all!" before walking off, they said. "We at Black Enterprise will not allow our culture to go backward," Graves said. "Black Enterprise stands for decency, black culture and dignity." The NAACP held a public "burial" for the racial slur during its annual convention in Detroit in July.

Griffin's publicist, Jeff Abraham, declined comment.
