She isn't anywhere near a celebrity, but right about now I don't feel like making a blog post on just on her, so I'll throw her in this one instead. For those of you who don't know, the person below is none other than Kim a.k.a. 'Poprah' (the name is supposedly derived from her two role models Oprah Winfrey and Sean 'Diddy' Combs) attending the Reality Awards. Kim is a contestant on Diddy's new reality show I Want to Work for Diddy.

Jay-Z and Jadakiss were spotted chilling at Robin Thicke's Something Else album release party at the Rainbow Room Tuesday night in New York City.

T.I. and his girlfriend Tiny were spotted arriving at his album release party at the Velvet Room in Atlanta over the weekend. Is it me, or does Tiny stay having a cup in her hand sipping on something?

NEW PICS: ANANDA LEWIS & QUEEN LATIFAH AT TAPING OF 'A CONVERSATION WITH THE QUEEN' IN NEW YORK CITY; LATIFAH ADDRESSES LESBIAN RUMORS ONCE AGAIN.

Could former B.E.T. Summit co-host Ananda Lewis be making her way back to the network? Cause Lord knows Rocsi's time has been up. Below are pics of Ananda interviewing actress Queen Latifah during the taping of A Conversation with the Queen at The Directors Guild of America theater on Saturday evening in New York City. A Conversation with the Queen was presented by the 2008 Urbanworld Film Festival as well as the BET Network. During the interview, Queen Latifah admitted that she considering naming her upcoming eight studio album The L Word. Asked for the reason, Latifah says that she wants to "mess with people's heads" concerning the latest rumor saying that she is a lesbian and has an affair with Laila Ali.

Instead of denying the rumor(s), as she has in the past, Latifah jokingly told Ananda that the "L" word can stand for "love" or, just as what people think, "lesbian". She explains as saying, "L was gonna stand for love though or La. Since people want to play games, I like to jab back sometimes just for fun." For her future project, the New Jersey singer states that she will return to her rap root by working with LL Cool J and Dr. Dre. "Dre helped me write some stuff. He wrote some stuff with me and Ludacris wrote a record for me," Latifah says. Speaking of the theme in her upcoming album, she briefly explained the topic will vary but it is mostly about love relationship. "Lyrically it covers a range of topics. A lot of love on there. People, dealing with people, how people do all kinds of things," she adds in a statement.

JENNIFER HUDSON MOVIE UPDATES ON TYLER PERRY'S 'THE FAMILY THAT PREYS TOGETHER' & 'THE SECRET LIFE OF BEES.'

Back in January, I told you all that Academy Award winner Jennifer Hudson was in negotiations to co-star in Tyler Perry's new film, The Family the Preys Together (which will be released in September) alongside Perry, Sanaa Lathan, Kathy Bates, Alfre Woodard, Rockmond Dunbar, Taraji Henson and Robin Givens. Well, the key word in that post was "negotiations." Hudson will not be in the film; however she will appear on the big screen on October 17, 2008 in The Secret Life of Bees (based on Sue Monk Kidd's bestselling novel) alongside Alica Keys, Queen Latifah, Dakota Fanning and Sophie Okonedo. Set in South Carolina in 1964, the film is the moving tale of Lily Owens (Fanning) a 14 year-old girl who is haunted by the memory of her late mother (played by Hilari Burton). To escape her lonely life and troubled relationship with her father, Lily flees with Rosaleen (Hudson), her caregiver and only friend, to a South Carolina town that holds the secret to her mother's past. Taken in by the intelligent and independent Boatwright sisters (Latifah, Okonedo and Keys), Lily finds solace in their mesmerizing world of beekeeping, honey and the Black Madonna. “It’s very raw, very raw. It affected each of us in some kind of way,” says Hudson. “Like with me, I had to do research like crazy on the civil rights movement. That messed with my mind. And then I had to fight three white men because I was my own stunt double. Dakota, Queen and Tristan (Wilds) had to go to bee school and learn how to deal with bees. Alicia had to learn how to play the cello. I’ve never had to be this involved in anything in my life! I had to touch a bug. I had a fit, honey. I nearly lost my mind! It was a beetle, but luckily, it was beautiful.”

In other Hudson news, the singer is reportedly getting a few stings after her self-titled album cover (click picture on the right to see its full image), which shows a tiny-waist, slimmed-down, svelte figure of the singer hit the Internet recently. Sources have denied that Hudson’s photo was retouched using photo shop. Some reports claim record label execs at J Records implemented the same photo-retouching experts used on the cover of Mariah Carey's latest album. Nothing doing. "Yes, that’s Hudson’s waist and her ample top half. She has a thin waist,” the insider insists. Hudson's album is scheduled to hit stores on September 30, 2008. There’s also talk, Hudson says, of recording a song for the soundtrack of The Secret Life of Bees, with costars Latifah and Keys. “It would be an honor for me to do a song with them,” Hudson cooed.

CANDIDS: QUEEN LATIFAH OUT & ABOUT IN WEST HOLLYWOOD.

On Sunday afternoon, rapper-turned-actress Queen Latifah was spotted heading to the Urth Cafe in West Hollywood to grab a coffee after a yoga workout sans her personal trainer/rumored girlfriend, Jeanette.

In related news, the rapper has recently become Jenny Craig's latest success story after reaching her target weight since signing on to become the weight loss maven's celebrity spokesperson earlier this year (Jan. 2008) Latifah, 38, reveals she has achieved her weightloss goal, stating, "My intention was to lose five to 10 percent of my bodyweight because it makes a difference with health related issues, and I achieved that goal in a couple of months. I'm excited about this weightloss. My jeans are looser, I feel more energetic (and) people dig it. They come up to me and say, `I'm glad you're talking about the health side of it.' People get that message, which is important too."

She sounds just like a commercial, doesn't she?

CANDID PICS: QUEEN LATIFAH DISPLAYS HER 'SIZE-ACTIVE' FIGURE AT THE BEACH.

The ruthless and unapologetic paparazzi caught rapper-turned-actress Queen Latifah as she enjoyed a day of frolicking and surfing in the waters of the beach recently. It's apparent that there is no shame in her game....especially when it comes to selecting swim wear. Can't knock her confidence. And although she says she's always been comfortable with her full-figured body, she also admits that it will do her (and her body) good to shed a few more pounds. “All the time people come up to me and thank me for the fact that by being who I am, they feel confident in who they are,” she said. “If I can set the example for confidence from the inside; why not set it for the outside as well.” In related news, Latifah (real name Dana Owens) has become the latest celebrity to launch her own perfume line which will hit stores in 2009. Of her untitled fragrance she says, "For me, beauty really does start on the inside. It's like a state of mind - a state of love, if you will. So, I see fragrance as just a natural expression of this state of love: Scent expresses a woman's confidence and sensuality. It's how she embraces her body, her mind and her strength."

QUEEN LATIFAH GIVES AWAY 'MAD MONEY' TO CREW MEMBERS ON FILM SET + 'MAD MONEY' MOVIE PREMIERE PICS.

Rapper turned actor Queen Latifah gave the cast and crew something to look forward to every Friday on the set of her new film Mad Money - she gave cash away. The rapper-turned-singer/actress came up with a "five dollar Friday" ruse that would give runners, camera operators and interns the chance to go home for the weekend with a big cash bonus. The generous Chicago star explains, "It was actually my way of giving back to the crew. Sometimes you get to throw a barbecue or do something special but usually I know that the crew people are working really hard and everybody is not making the same amount of money we are. So we do this five dollar Fridays thing and everybody writes their name on a five dollar bill and puts it into a bucket and at the end of the day somebody picks a bill out and whoever's name is on the bill wins all the money."

And Latifah, real name Dana Owens, had a way of sweetening the deal further: "I'd double the money every Friday. It could be a lot of money, so don't tell the IRS (tax authorities at the Internal Revenue Service)."

Mad Money hits theaters Friday, January 18th.

MOVIE CRITICS MAR 'THE PERFECT HOLIDAY' CALLING IT 'OVERPLOTTED' & 'GUARANTEED TO TURN YOU INTO A GROUCH.'

According to most critics The Perfect Holiday doesn't come close to living up to its title. Michael Phillips in the Chicago Tribune describes it as "overplotted and underwhelming" and lacking "any sort of cinematic personality." Queen Latifah gets top billing in the movie, but Ann Hornaday warns in the Washington Post: "This crass seasonal programmer features only enough of its nominal star to avoid being sued by bait-and-switched filmgoers." Rafer Guzman in Newsday dismisses it as "sexist, unfunny and guaranteed to turn you into a grouch." That is indeed what it turned Carrie Rickie of the Philadelphia Inquirer into. Her summation of the movie: "In the annals of Noel films so wincingly, gratingly, insultingly bad that a lump of coal would be vastly preferable."

Well, I just finished watching the movie a couple of hours ago and personally, I kinda liked it. It could've been a bit better. It was the first movie I'd ever seen Katt Williams in where he didn't utter one curse word; and Charlie Murphy and Faizon Love had me rolling! However, in some scenes I wanted to reach through the screen and snatch that damn ponytail off the top of Gabrielle's head. Ol girl was sporting as if it was about to go out of style. And in other scenes (and I thought I'd never say this, but) it looked as if Morris hadn't been preserving his sexy as well as he should...and that is NOT the BUSINESS. But hey, I didn't have to pay to see it and chances are I'll never watch it again. So, oh well. You know? But it definitely didn't 'turn me into a grouch' like it did the critics. Geesh, it wasn't that bad.

QUEEN LATIFAH LAUGHS OFF RUMORS THAT SHE'S ENGAGED HER FEMALE PERSONAL TRAINER.

Well, once again, MediaFakeout.com has proven their incredibility for the umpteenth time. Chicago radio personality Kendra G. of Power 92 says she got a direct answer from Queen Latifah regarding rumors that she planned to announce an engagement to her personal trainer/girlfriend. Latifah reportedly said: "Oh my goodness you guys actually believe that. You can't believe everything you read...there will be no major announcement made. The only major announcement I have to make is "Merry Christmas." The Chicago Sun-Times also asked Latifah about the rumored engagement as she worked the red carpet this past weekend. "When you're famous these days, it's just part of the deal — unfortunately," she told the newspaper in denying the claims. "People will make up all sorts of things that are not true. There ain't gonna be no wedding."

As previously reported, longstanding rumors have suggested that Latifah's trainer, Jeanette Jenkins, has actually been her girlfriend for the past four years. The artist made her comments while attending a premiere screening of her new film The Perfect Holiday at the Ice Theater in Chicago. Also walking the red carpet were Latifah's co-stars Gabrielle Union, Morris Chestnut and Faizon Love.
