TEAIRRA MARI ON BEING OUSTED FROM ROC-A-FELLA & THE SNIDE COMMENTS RIHANNA MADE ABOUT HER; THROWBACK PICS.

Former princess of Roc-a-Fella records, Teairra Mari is speaking out on her sudden oust from the Dynasty. The singer, who was just 16-years-old when she signed with Def Jam and now has a new record deal at Fo' Reel Entertainment/Interscope dished details on her relationship with Jay-Z and how she feels about him now, the Def Jam employee who she doesn't want to put on blast and last but not least Rihanna, who threw her under bus when Rhianna told Atlanta Peach magazine that karma played a huge role in her success in the music industry and Teairra's struggles after she was forced to take a backseat to Teairra Mari during the beginning of career with Def Jam. Rihanna said, 'I was not always treated in the best manner but I always remained who I was and I was always kind in the toughest situations. I was just the little Caribbean girl. You have to be good to people. I could very easily say it's all karma...God has favor on me and has blessed me, and I cannot even thank Him enough." And although the two ladies began their careers at Roc-a-Fella at the same time...most people (such as myself) speculated it would Teairra whose career would have blow-up-tuated into what Rhianna's career looks like right now. Boy, were we wrong. Teairra's first album, Roc-A-Fella Presents: Teairra Mari (which spawned the hit single Make Her Feel Good, was released in 2005 and while the album reached the #5 position on the Billboard 200 albums chart and #2 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts, just one year later Teairra would stop production in the middle of recording her second album, Second Round after being released from her Roc-a-Fella/Def Jam contract.

Mari is currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on her next as-yet-untitled album, slated for a late 2008/early 2009 release (listen to new her track titled No, No, No.), reports Billboard.com. The singer has been hired as the spokeswoman for Love's jeans line Jean Addicts, which bows officially in the fall. She also appears in the film Doorman, due later this year.

TEAIRRA ON RIHANNA'S COMMENTS & WHAT SHE'D SAY/DO TO HER IF SHE RAN INTO HER ON THE STREET: "I've never had anything but positive encounters with Rihanna, so when i read it, I was like, 'what the hell is she talking about?' I read it like a year ago and I was a little simpleminded at the time and I was ready to fight. But, now it's like it's nothing. It's a free country, so she can say what she wants to say, but I don't know what she's talking about, 'cause like I said, our encounters were always positive. We would see each other when we did things [for the label] together. We would speak and talk, and it was ll just really nice. There was never a problem. If there was an inside problem, then I never knew about it....I think she's growing as an artist. I think she's developed well. As a person, I mean I don't have anything negative to say, but those comments that she made about me, I don't agree with and I don't feel like she should have said that... [If I ran into her] I would say hi and ask her about the comments, because I want to know why she made them and from there it would depend on her response."

TEAIRRA ON HER RELATIONSHIP WITH JAY-Z: "It was great. When I first got signed I was 16. Jay-Z treated me like I was his daughter almost. Everything was great. That's why when everything happened it was a little shocking, 'cause it was like a family thing. I haven't heard from him since I've been away from Roc-A-Fella. My opinion of him today is probably the same as it was. As far as Jay-Z as an artist, I have nothing negative to say about him, he's the greatest. But, like I said, he was calling me his daughter and all that, that's what I thought it was because I respect his word...I haven't really spoken to him so it could be something else."

TEAIRRA ON HER OUST FROM DEF JAM AND WHERE SHE WAS WHEN SHE FOUND OUT SHE'D BEEN DROPPED: "Being that young, I think it was kind of a raw deal. I felt like they knew all about my situation, like how my relationship was with my mother. When I went to Def Jam, that was like my new found family. I trusted a lot of the people there, so when they just threw me off the boat with no life vest, I was like, 'damn, how they gonna do that to a girl my age?' I was in Detroit at my grandmother's and I was getting out of the shower and I got a call from Jay Brown and he just told me, 'You know, we're not going to be continuing on with you. We love you, you're young...' and there was a bunch of label talk, then he was just like, 'We're gonna let you go.' I was like, 'okay, bye' and that was it. I was thrown back into the cold streets and I was on my own. I kept it to myself for about six months. Then news about it started coming out on the radio. I stopped doing music for a year. My relationship with my mother was done. It's better now, but at the time it was done. The label had come in, divide and conquered and left. They got involved in my family situation and put a wedge between me and my mother. They would go to her and talk about me and come to me talking about her, not Jay in particular, but others who were in the situation."

TEAIRRA ON HER ISSUES WITH DEF JAM VP TRACEY WAPLES: "Well, me and Tracey had another personal problem. But I don't want to put anybody on blast. I will say we had another personal issue that I think had something to do with the situation (being dropped.) I'd rather not discuss that issue. Me and her once had a really good relationship. She was like a second mom to me and even though it's not the same now, I still have respect for her."

Who would've ever thought that Rihanna's career would blow up the way it did? Especially when you consider the fact that it was Jay-Z who personally crowned Teairra as the 'Princess of the Roc'leading folks to believe that that title alone would mean that she would be around for the long run and then some. Oh, well. Judging from the pics below, it looks like it was fun while it lasted.

CANDIDS: MEAGAN GOOD LEAVING COCO de VILLE NIGHTCLUB; ACTRESS DISHES ON HER RELATIONSHIP WITH PAPARAZZI.

Meagan Good is spotted posing for the paparazzi after leaving Coco de Ville's nightclub in Los Angeles on July 8, 2008. Find out why she's one of the pap's favorite celebritys at the bottom of this blog post.

"If you're nice to them, then they'll be nice to you. If you treat them with respect and like normal human beings--because that's what they are--then they're going to treat you, to a certain degree, the same way. Say you come out of the club, or say you're walking down the street and you're just not having a good day. If I know one of them, which I happen to know a couple of them, I just say, 'Hey, I'm not having a good day today,' or 'I'm just not feeling good; please don't take a picture of me today, please,' or whatever, and they just say, 'Oh, okay, Megan.'... I think [some of them are like piranhas], but I think that some of it is motivated by the fact that they may just be trying to get a picture. They don't want anything in particular. They may be trying to get a regular picture of you not doing anything, walking down the street, pumping some gas, and because you run away from them, or you're like get out of my face, you're this, you're that, that's when they are like, 'Oh, okay, screw me? No, screw you. I'm going to get my picture. I don't care if I have to follow you around the corner in my car!' And I think that motivates some of it. Either way it goes, it's an invasion of privacy, but a certain amount does come with the territory. I'm not saying that it's right, but I have found that when I'm nice to them, and I just give them a shot, or even if I just talk to them a little bit, they're cool with me."

ERKYAH BADU TO ALL THE FOLKS DISSING HER BABY DADDY CHOICES: 'KISS MY PLACENTA!' & 'CALL TYRONE!'

Neo singer Erykah Badu has hit back at folks who have clowned and chastised her babymaking ways and babydaddy selections. Earlier this week the news spread that the singer, who has a ten-year-old son named Seven with rapper Andre 3000 and a four-year-old daughter named Puma from rapper DOC, is allegedly pregnant with her third child by her boyfriend/rapper/producer Jay Electronica. Word around the web is that the couple are making plans to tie the knot as well. I don't know how true that is given Erykah's stance on marriage. Anyhoo, news of her third pregnancy has prompted some folks to question Badu's lifestyle choices. And apparently the negative feedback--from fans, foes and frienemies-has made Erykah reach out and give folks a piece of her mind by 'STATING MY PEACE.' The singer left a long-winded message on Okayplayer.com, a forum for musicians where she began her post by asking, 'HOW DARE YOU DISRESPECT THE QUEENDOM...AND MY CHILDREN AND MY INTELLIGENCE.' Fed up with explaining why she chooses to live her life the the way that she does, by the end of the message, Erykah tells anyone who can read to 'kiss my placenta.' And to the fans she may lose because of her choices, Erkyah advices them to 'CALL TYRONE' and 'KICK ROCKS.' Below are bits and pieces from Erykah's rant. God, I love his heffah!
i am an excellent mother and resent all of the negative comments and insults on my character. I PUT MUCH TIME AND THOUGHT INTO HAVING AND RAISING MY CHILDREN. IVE HAD THE HONORS OF HAVING 2 HOME BIRTHS AND 2 WONDERFUL PARTNERS BY MY SIDE. every relationship i have been in was because i loved the person DEARLY and was dedicated to us "exclusively" FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS. the fathers of my children are my brothers and friends. we have a great deal of respect for one another and always will. WE LOVE OUR CHILDREN TO NO END. we took our own "vows" and CONTINUE TO UPHOLD THEM. AND THAT IS WHAT THAT IS.

BIRTH CONTROL lol ... could have 10 babies instead of 2. I LOVE CHILDREN AND I WILL HAVE AS MANY AS GOD WILL GIVE ME. I AM VERY HEALTHY AND RESPONSIBLE AND SO ARE ALL OF MY PARTNERS. I CHOSE THEM WISELY AND SOBERLY. ALL GOOD BROTHERS. your opinions lack experience and are not only careless but also very uninformed and immature. nothing is sacred here . and i see why. if i loose you as a fan because i want to continue to have children then *&%^$#@E OFF... WHO NEEDS YOU ....CERTAINLY NOT ME ... KICK ROCKS ... CALL TYRONE ... PACK LIGHT .... BITE ME. this is to all the okay players / REAL HUMAN BEINGS hiding behind screen names in order to insult one another and who ever else you will. i know you are having fun , but what if it were you and your children? my son is 10. my daughter, 4.

peace
ANALOGUE GIRL
and if this post is not clear, KISS MY PLACENTA.

VIDEO CLIP: 106 & PARK CO-HOST TERRENCE J. BLASTS CO-HOST ROCSI ON AIR

Is there trouble in co-host/off-the-set paradise between B.E.T.'s 106 & Park hosts Rocsi and Terrence J. I'd say, 'why, yes there is.' Since taking over former hosts Free & AJ's spot a couple of years ago, watching these two host the show is about as annoying as a gnat at a fourth of July family reunion cook-out during the third Saturday of the month in the heart of rural, hot-ass Willachoochie, Georgia. This is also the reason why I stopped watching the show. Anyhoo, although I ain't the one to gossip *snicker*, it's been rumored for the past couple of years that Rocsi and Terrence are not only co-workers but co-bed partners as well. And it looks as if their off-screen drama has made its way onto their on-screen job. There is a reason why it's never a good idea to bed your co-workers, yall. Now some will argue and say that Rocsi and Terrence's on-camera banter is harmless. That may be so, but during a recent broadcast it was anything but harmless banter. It was downright pure madness and unprofessionalism that in the end led to Terrence closing out the show alone after Rocsi, without warning, walked off the set. And after watching the clip below, you probably would've done the same thing. In the video clip (provided by WORLDSTARHIPHOP.COM), Terrence playfully clowns Rocsi about her reading skills after she stutters over the words posted on the teleprompter. You can clearly hear Terrence ask her if she knows how to read. After a video break, we see Terrence blasts Rocsi about her bad breath. Terrence keeps the childishness going when he asks Rocsi why she can't have a body like Ciara. To which Rocsi retorts, 'Why can't you have a body like Nelly?'

By 2:20 into the video, Rocsi is clearly fed up with Terrence's tactics and before asking him, 'Is it like that today? Really? You really feeling some type of way?', she gives him the side eye before walking off the set and resisting the urge to knock him upside the head with her microphone. Well, somebody's check is going to get docked over this! LOL! I had never witnessed such behavior between Free and AJ...or even Donnie Simpson and Sherrie Carter (for yall young'uns, Donnie and Sherrie co-hosted BET's Video Soul back in the day). And Rocsi is better than me. I wish Terrence would try to clown me with his Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader-looking ass. I would've been all over his ass like dry-ass ash on that ashy-ass Reggie Bush. I'mma play both sides do the fence for this one: It's bad enough that they are both whack as hell, extra-sensitive, insensitive and rude but to be whack as hell, extra-sensitive, insensitive rude and unprofessional is just uncalled for.

CANDID PICS: GABRIELLE UNION IN NYC; ACTRESS DOLES OUT ADVICE ON JUMPING INTO MARRIAGE.

Gabrielle Union was lensed arriving at her hotel in New York City on Wednesday afternoon, July 10, 2008. The still single and sexy actress has vowed to put motherhood to one side for a few years because she says she's not responsible enough to play the demanding role of mother. Union says, "Right now, I don't have the same urges as other women when they see a baby. When I see children, I see responsibilities, which I don't think I'm quite ready for. I feel the same about puppies. They're cute for a second, but there's a lot of responsibility involved." I feel you 100%, Gabby! LOL! The 35-year-old star who ended her five-year-long marriage to former NFL player Chris Howard in 2006 also warns women about the dangers of getting swept away and caught up by the romance of marriage, stating, "No one really lets you know how hard it is. You kind of enter into worrying about your ring and your bridesmaid's dresses. But you learn and hopefully do better next time." And Union admits the couple never conceived partly because she feared taking on adult responsibilities.
