In an effort to soften her harden and infamous spazz-out-at-any-time-day-or-night demeanor, the supermodel and her new boo and fellow male supermodel Tyson Beckford made a special visit to the Lagos Island Maternity Hospital while participating in the 3rd Annual Thisday African Rising Festival in Abuja, Nigeria. This year's edition of the THISDAY Music and Fashion Festival which is the third is designed to celebrate the best of Africa and to chart new development approach for the continent. The message of the festival titled 'Africa Rising' is to send inform the international community that what Africa needs is not aid and grant but massive investment in infrastructure and microfinance which will help the individual countries and their citizenry to fully develop their potentials.

NEW CANDIDS: NAOMI CAMPBELL DOES 'UGLY BETTY'; JENNIFER HUDSON SPOTTED AT LAX AIRPORT.

Yes, there is a perfectly logical explanation as to why Naomi Campbell is dressed in hot-ass red stockings and tight-ass black spandex booty-shorts complete with a dangling belly chain. The model donned the ensemble as part of her guest-appearance on an upcoming episode of ABC's Ugly Betty. Campbell took part in a softball game, which saw Mode magazine competing against the Elle team, which was completely made up of models. Reports say that Naomi, well known for her irascible temperament, was nothing but well-behaved and professional – even digging into a big lunch and joking around with cast members. In fact, Naomi was even happy to play up to her reputation for mobile phone-throwing, and try to strike fear into her opponents as she posed in a mock-threatening manner with her mobile on the field.

Now as far as Jennifer Hudson's attire is concerned....well, I don't know what to tell you. But in her defense, she is just strolling through LAX airport. And for all you Sex in the City fans, make sure to check out Hudson in the movie version of the popular HBO series when it hits the big screen on May 30th. The 26-year-old Oscar winner plays a 'lucky-in-life, unlucky-in-love assistant to Sarah Jessica Parker’s character Carrie Bradshaw. Hudson also lends her voice on the film's movie soundtrack as well. All Dressed in Love is written by Cee-Lo (Gnarls Barkley) and MC Jack Splash. And one last reminder: Hudson and the rest of the cast of Sex In the City will make an appearance on Oprah today (May 1st). Check your local listings.

When Foxy Brown was released from prison last Friday, she said the first place she wanted to go was to church to 'thank God for supporting her,' telling reporters, "I really, really want to go to church first and get it right with God. It's only through His grace that I was able to survive this, and I want to get down on my knees and thank Him." Well, from the reports that I've read, the church house wasn't the first place the rapper headed to. As a matter of fact, she hit up a soul food restaurant, her childhood home and unsurprisingly, a hair and beauty products store. However, eventually, the Brooklyn diva did find her way to the house of God. Better late than never, right. The rapper also conducted an interview with hip-hop site, Allhiphop.com where she discussed the things and people she missed while in prison, her newfound freedom and folks comparing her to Naomi 'I stay mad all the damn time' Campbell.

FOXY BROWN ON WHAT SHE MISSED OUT ON WHILE INCARCERATED: I don’t feel like I really missed out on anything other than Chanel and Christion Louboutin and Fendi and all the fly stuff but my girl Marvett [Britto] had everything waiting for me when I came home so I was good. No, I missed being on a microphone, a lot.

FOXY ON FOLKS COMPARING HER TO NAOMI CAMPBELL: [Incarceration] just helped me in mastering my emotions. Now, I’m no longer going to react. I’m going to try my best to just not react. That’s what I have a whole team of people for. It’s just not worth it. I’m a target. Constantly. You hear in the press about Naomi Campbell, Foxy Brown, oh they react this way. I think they put celebrities, they give us the sense of entitlement and they put on such a pedestal that when we do do something human, it’s the worst s**t in the world. Like, Oh my God, she what?! She f***ing bumped somebody in Dunkin Donuts! It’s the worst thing in the world it’s like…I’m f***ing human. I have the best bodyguard in the world, I have a team of dudes, so there is no reason why I should even have put my self in a situation where I was forced to react. Instead of talking about the change I’d rather people just see it.

I have a whole newfound respect for my freedom. Little things I would take for granted... like a Snickers bar... It's an incredible feeling. I feel really good. I’m the first to admit that I’m imperfect, complicated, flawed like everyone else. I’m human. So just embracing my maturation and just fostering my growth was the most important part of the whole incarceration to me. I’m actually happy that that happened. Cause I got a chance to really step outside of Foxy, get in tune with Inga, and really just re-focus. Ok, this is what I need to do. I need to get my priorities straight. Ok, you’ve made mistakes, you’ve f***ed up, like, fix it.

NAOMI CAMPBELL'S FORMER PERSONAL ASSISTANT & VICTIM OF HER ASSAULTS COMMITS SUICIDE BY JUMPING FROM A BRIDGE.

The former personal assistant to supermodel Naomi Campbell has leapt off a bridge to her death. Celebrity stylist and personal shopper Jade Bien-Aimee Sutherland was found dead under London's Albert Bridge on the shore of the Thames river near her home in Battersea, South London. The 28-year-old was seen sobbing on the streets of Los Angeles last year (2007) after a fight with Campbell caused her to quit her job as the catwalk model's assistant. Caribbean-born Sutherland - who was born a boy but underwent a sex-change - was said to have been devastated after the death from pneumonia of her "soulmate" Andrew Richardson, 24, who died just ten days before her suicide. In an email to friends she wrote: "He's now gone, I'm all alone, my heart is empty, my life is empty. I don't think life's worth living after losing a close one."
