RAPPER CHARLI BALTIMORE RETURNS TO THE INC. + MODELING PICS OF HER DAUGHTER INDIA.

Philadelphia native Charli Baltimore has returned to her former label home of Murder Inc. Records to record her debut solo album. Although the rapper, who first stepped onto the scene in 1999 had originally signed to Lance "Un" Rivera's Untertainment where she recorded, but never released her highly-promoted initial debut album Cold As Ice, her name, face, voice, affiliation as one of the late Notorious B.I.G.'s jumpoffs and record as a probably the only female emcee who has never released an album despite being signed to three different record label companies (Untertainment, Murder Inc. and Black Wall Street) has made her more than recognizable in the hip-hop industry. In a recent interview with Sub Zero DVD, the rapper was filmed working in Murder Inc. Studios. Asked if she was re-signing to the controversial imprint, Baltimore said, "We workin', we doin' some things. Obviously, you see that I'm here, so it's all good. We're definitely working. We're gonna keep it a lil' controversial for right now; I don't want to give too much away." With her new single Lose It having touched airwaves in her hometown, the rapper hopes that the Scott Storch-produced song will be considered by radio.

In related Charli Baltimore news, the single mother of three has also spent recent years handling the career of her daughter India, who is part of Ford Modeling, and will be appearing in an upcoming Abercrombie & Fitch campaign. SALT 'N PEPA IN TODAY'S BLACK WOMAN MAGAZINE; GROUP DISHES ON THEIR PAST ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIPS.

The ladies of Salt 'N Pepa are featured in the June 2008 issue. Now, for those of you all who have seen the show, we all know that it basically revolved around the mending of Salt (real name Cheryl Wray) and Pepa's (real name Sandy Denton) once estranged relationship...both personally and professionally. So let's forget about all of that. Something the show really didn't focus much on were the ladies past relationships with the men who were in their lives at the time. Salt, who is now happily married to Gavin Wray with whom she shared two children, had dated their producer Hurby Azor from 1985 to 1991. She told the magazine, 'I was a mess. My situation with Hurby was a mess, and I was in that situation for a really long time. For me, it was also not being schooled on life and men, and what they are saying and how they treat you, trying to figure you out on your own and being very naive. When your self-esteem is low, you will take a lot of stuff from guys because you don't know your worth. So, I've been in similar situations--never physical or blatantly verbal--but it was still mistreatment.'

Of her brief and turbulent marriage (1999-2001) to Naughty by Nature rapper/actor Treach, Pepa says, 'The marriage only lasted for about a year. We were together in a relationship--and there is nothing like a marriage to break up a relationship. It was funny because Treach and I were together for some years, and we had gone through our break-ups and make-ups. But, when we got married, it lasted a year, and we had a divorce, that, like sealed it--that was it, never to return, and that ended that, we shut it down. We realized that we didn't see eye to eye on a lot of things, and we just realized that we were not good together.' The former couple share a daughter named Egypt.

Are you all as dizzy as I am after reading Pepa's excerpt? I swear I need a Dramamine right about now. In the meantime and in between time, check out a couple of photos from SNP's cover shoot.

RUMOR OR REAL: VICTORIA ROWELL TO RETURN TO 'THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS' TO REPRISE HER 'DRUCILLA WINTERS' ROLE.

Avid fans of The Young & the Restless may soon have a reason to rejoice. There's a strong and promising chance that the beautiful and irreplaceable Drucilla Winters (played by actress Victoria Rowell respectively) may be headed back to The Young and the Restless later this year. The CBS soap has reached out to the actress to see if she's interested in a possible return -- but a rival soap is also reported to be interested in signing Rowell. Rowell appeared on Y&R for 17 years. Though she is believed to have fallen to her death nearly a year ago, fans may not have seen the last of The Young and the Restless' Drucilla Winters. While the network refuses to comment publicly, soapopera.com has learned that CBS is actively seeking a way to bring actress Drucilla Winters back into the fold. Rowell, who left the show in April 2007 amid reports of hurt feelings and frustration with the direction of the show, states that she is "open" to a possible Y&R return. "Before Christmas, through my representative, there was a dialogue with the CBS brass regarding [the] re-entry of Drucilla Winters," Rowell reveals. "The ball is in The Young and the Restless court. I think it's important that the fans know that I'm open to coming back and now we're waiting for an answer. That's absolutely the case."

After leaving The Young and the Restless last year, Rowell gave a candid and uncensored interview with TV Guide Canada to clarify her reasons for wanting out of the number one rated daytime drama series. In the interview, Rowell lashed out at daytime executives for being "racist" and criticized Y&R's then-head writer Lynn Marie Latham (who has since been fired) for ruining the vision late-Y&R creator Bill Bell had created for the show. "When Y&R was at the top of its game, our soap boasted daytime's only racially diverse cast on TV," Rowell told TV Guide. "And now the show has what? Two black actors. [..] It's a no-brainer: we depend on our black, predominant audience to watch our show and make it number one but we're not going to support that population of audience, tell their stories, cast accurately, recognize us on the Emmy ballot? To [the network executives] blacks, don't count."

Rowell has also recently been spotted in and around the One Life to Live studios in New York. Those sightings have prompted rumors that the actress may be close to signing a deal to appear on the ABC soap. For her part, Rowell remains coy, saying only that she's had "several meetings."

On the issue of the Daytime Emmys, Rowell lashed out at the nominating process, calling the system "tainted" by popularity and in-house politicking. While Rowell has won an amazing 11 NAACP Image Awards, during her 17-year run with Y&R Rowell has only been nominated for a Daytime Emmy on three occasions. Since the Emmys adopted a new voting process in 2003, Rowell has not even received as much as a pre-nomination from her show. During her time away from The Young and the Restless, Rowell has traveled around the country promoting her book, The Women Who Raised Me: A Memoir. Rowell is also hard at work on her second book, Secrets of a Soap Opera Diva. Though the book title may sound like a juicy tell-all, Rowell insists that the book is a work of fiction.

WHITNEY HOUSTON TO PERFORM HER LIVE COMEBACK IN LONDON IN MAY (2008).

Whitney 'Nippy' Houston is set to make her live comeback in London in May. Organizers of the Caudwell Children's Legend Ball in Battersea have revealed they've booked the diva for a charity show. Charity founder John Caudwell tells Britain's Marie Claire magazine, "We are thrilled to have an artist of Whitney's calibre to headline the event." The comeback concert isn't a big surprise - Tina Turner came out of retirement to perform at the charity's 2007 gala, which helped Caudwell raise over $2 million for disabled children.

In related news, successful music mogul and Houston's longtime mentor, Clive Davis, says Houston will release her long-awaited and much-anticipated comeback album in time for Christmas. Davis has recorded five new tracks with the singer and he's delighted with the album's progress, saying, "It's really good. We're looking to release the album in November."

RANDOM CELEB PICS: LELA ROCHON WITH HER HUBBY, ANTOINE FUQUA & THEIR KIDS.

Was there anyone else besides me who were wondering where Lela 'Sunshine' Rochon was and what she's been up to? I don't know about yall, but the last time I saw the 43-year-old Haitian/American actress on the big screen was when she appeared in First Daughter back in 2004. She also co-starred in Running Out Of Time In Hollywood which was screened at several film festivals in 2006 before being shown in a select number of cities. Soooooooo, what's next for her? The hell if I know! As a matter of fact, if one of yall come across something, hit me up with the details! Then again, maybe her major role these days is that of mommy and housewife...and there's nothing wrong with that.

One thing I do know is that she's still looking good. I was able to dig up several pics of the beauty with her second husband, music video and film director Antoine Fuqua and 2 of their 3 kids; daughter, Asia Rochon (now 5-years-old) and son, Zachary (from Antoine's previous relationship). Their second child together, Brando, born in 2004 isn't pictured in any of the following pics....just so you know! FYI: For those of you who don't know, Lela was married to her first husband, actor/award-winning choreographer, Adolfo Quinones a.k.a. Shabba Doo from 1984 to 1987. Shabba also starred in 80s films Breakin', Breakin' 2Electric Boogaloo and the 1990 film Lambada. Learn something new everyday, huh? Well, even if you didn't...then oh well...! Peep the pics below! LOL!

NEW PICS & VIDEO: WHITNEY HOUSTON'S MAKES A SUPRISE APPEARANCE AT SWARVOSKI FASHION ROCKS SHOW.

Forget Britney Spears - this is the comeback to beat all comebacks...Let me find out Whitney preserved her sexy just for this occasion. That's a good look! Bless her heart. Since Whitney made a surprise appearance at the event, chances are there's no pics of her on the red carpet. However, I was able to find just a couple of the singer backstage and with her daughter Bobbi Christina. I have since added them into this post.

Now back to the story....

Whitney Houston made a sensational surprise return at Swarovski Fashion Rocks Show in London last night in one of the industry's most closely guarded secrets. The superstar had secretly flown in from New York and had been in hiding in a London hotel to avoid the surprise being ruined.

The singer turned up at the live fashion and music event, at London's Royal Albert Hall, wearing a white Valentino gown. An insider said the 44-year-old had 'demanded' white jewelry to match her dress which included exclusive diamonds from de Grisogono. During a standing ovation, the 44-year-old introduced the final catwalk show of the night by Swarovski -with Patti La Belle and Sugababes performing Lady Marmalade. Afterwards, in a reference to her most famous song she told the audience: 'I will always love you - very much.'

Bobby who?!

A guest at the starstudded show said: "Everyone in the audience was amazed - even the big stars like Kate Moss, Lily Allen and Naomi Campbell started whooping with delight.

Good to have you back.

Houston made history in 1985 when her self-titled album, containing the singles Saving All My Love For You and Greatest Love Of All, sold 13 million copies worldwide, a record debut for a female artist at the time. She filed for divorce last year from R&B singer Bobby Brown after a 14-year marriage and reportedly spent time in rehab for drugs.

The line up for last night's Swarovski Fashion Rocks for The Prince's Trust 2007 will feature shows by international designers accompanied by performances from top music artists including multi Grammy award winning R&B singer Alicia Keys, NME's 'coolest person in rock' Beth Ditto, soul singer Joss Stone, and Lily Allen.
