The paparazzi spotted rapper T.I. (real name Clifford Harris Jr.) out and about in Los Angeles last week. Believe it or not, T.I., who pleaded guilty to illegal weapons possession last year and was sentenced to seven months of house arrest, 1,500 hours of community service and one year in jail, says he's ready to start serving his bid. No stranger to a jail cell, T.I. also says he isn't scared but instead "concerned" and "anxious" to get it all over with. "Sooner I get started, sooner I get finished," T.I. said in a recent interview with CNN. Tip is set to begin serving his one-year sentence in March.

FORMER 112 MEMBER SPILLS TEA ON THE REAL REASON BEHIND THE GROUP'S BITTER BREAK-UP; 112 FANS BRACE YOURSELVES.

As a big fan of R&B boy band 112 (they're my favorite boy band of all time behind New Edition), I damn nearly lost the little bit of salvation I have left after reading about the alleged real reason behind their break-up. If you're like me and thought the guys went their separate ways to record solo albums, think again. Former member Mike Keith, who's promoting his debut solo album, has spilled the tea and then some during an interview with EUR's Lee Bailey. Mike says the group broke up last year after he and Marvin "Slim" Scandrick fell out with another member of the band. And Lord, I swear if it's who I think it is, I am going to have a conniption!! I will not believe it's the person who I believe it is!! "I had to leave because I found out that a certain member of the group took my publishing check," Keith told Bailey. "It was made clear that it was intended for myself and another member, Slim." Keith said he won't name names, but he fully expects the guilty party - either Quinnes Parker or Daron Jones - to come forward and defend himself once this story breaks. "I'm all about trust," says Keith. "And once you lose that trust with me man, it's just time for me to make a move and focus on my solo career. Everybody else was focused on their solo careers, the outside endeavors, and I just decided it was time for me to make that change and go into solo mode, Michael Keith mode."

Keith said the group was not without its infighting throughout the years. Equating it to a marriage, he says, "We did have our arguments, we did have our disagreements, but all in all we saw that the bigger picture was to maintain the brand, maintain the group." But the singer says he drew the line when his trust was broken. "Because I am such a trustworthy person, and I teach my son the value of being a trustworthy person, once you negate all that, it's something there that's irreconcilable in my opinion. I've put so much of myself into 112 and into the brand and into these guys. For it to be a situation that boils down to simply money, that's something I can't forgive."

Keith said it was his business manager who discovered the missing money, and the two are "weighing out" a decision to file charges.

"I'm gonna be honest with you, it's hard. It's hard being with these dudes for the amount of years I was with these dudes and to take legal action," he said. "It's something that I just couldn't fathom. But it's a business. This is a music business. And when something is done wrongly, you've got to be a better businessman. You've gotta handle it."

SOLANGE: 'DON'T HATE MY SISTER BECAUSE YOU LIKE ME.'

"There are a lot of things that people don't realize about the differences between Beyonce and me. Our age difference, for one. Sure, we're tight now, but we weren't as close when we were kids because Beyonce is five years older... It bothers me to think that people who don't like her want to like me - for that reason alone. These people don't even know her."

--Solange Knowles defending her sister, insisting their differences shouldn't prompt fans to pick sides between the pair. The singer has hit out at the press since embarking on her own music career, admitting relentless comparisons to her older sister have made it difficult to step out of Big Bey's shadow. But Solange insists despite their differences the pair have always supported each other's artistic endeavors. However, Beyonce says she tried to convince her little sister to not to follow in her footsteps for fear that she'd struggle to cope in the intense music industry. Beyonce admits she is fiercely protective of Solange, 22.

"I didn't want her to go into the entertainment business. This industry involves a lot of pressure...."I am so lucky to have her. We talk on the phone all night. I've been at all of her video shoots, even the ones that take 28 hours."

Needless to say, Solange failed to heed her sister's advice, and has gone on to pursue her own singing career albeit under the watchful eye of Beyonce.

NEW CANDID PICS: HALLE IN CANADA.

Halle Berry was spotted by the paps as she did a little grocery shopping in Quebec, Canada (I swear the paps will follow her everywhere she goes!) after buying a home and moving there so she and her 7-month old daughter Nahla Ariela could be closer to her boyfriend Gabriel Aubry. The couple and their daughter reside in the town of Saint-Hippolyte in the Laurentians region, 40 miles north of Montreal. The $1.6 million house sits on 62 acres of land and overlooks a private lake. There's also the added bonus of Aubry's parents being nearby, as they still live in the Montreal suburb of Laval, where the 32-year-old model grew up.

CIARA BREAKS HER SILENCE ON BEYONCE'S 'IF I WERE A BOY'; WHAT SHE LOOKS FOR IN A MAN.

"I totally respect her (Beyonce')....The actual song is real. As women we go through it. Both her and I have ran into each other at different times and every time there's love and respect and I just choose to keep it that way. I choose not to get into the craziness of it. It's definitely a different record and the same concept. I respect her and I think she's an amazing performer."

--Ciara addresses comparisons between her hit 2007 Like A Boy and Beyonce's If I Were A Boy after admitting that she's heard different things from a lot of people regarding why Beyonce's chose to record If I Were A Boy. In related news, Ciara covers November's issue of Men's Health Magazine. Revealing her idea of the perfect gentleman Ciara says:

"I like for a guy to have his own thing going on, a strong drive and focus—because that motivates me. You can tell it's there when you talk to him, but it also shows in the way he carries himself—how he moves around a room. That confidence shows through. It's really intriguing to me, and I need to see this sort of great potential before I even talk to a guy....."I like to go out to dinner and the movies. These are things that give you the opportunity to learn about a person's tastes—what they laugh at. That says a lot."

NELLY & ASHANTI AT HER BROADWAY DEBUT.

Monday night Ashanti made her debut on Broadway although it was only for one night. The singer performed alongside other cast members in The Yellow Brick Road Not Taken. The one-night-only benefit performance celebrates the fifth anniversary of the long-running Broadway play Wicked. Proceeds will be donated to Bette Midler's New York Restoration Project.

Nelly was there to cheer his boo on.

Beyonce and her mother Tina Knowles announced their new House of Dereon Dress collection at Bloomingdales in New York City last night.

Also last night Mrs. Shawn Carter made a surprise appearance and gave a mini-performance of her new single Single Ladies at Power 105.1's Powerhouse event during her hubby's set. BTW, can the crowd be even more ecstatic?! Peep the video below.

However, it's this dude's youtube performance of Single Ladies that has everyone wondering when Beyonce will make him one of her background dancers....then again, his flawless on-point performance....well let's just say that Bey ain't trying to let anyone spoil or steal her spotlight.
