Flavor of Love 2 winner Deelishis (real name London Charles) is now engaged to be married. The reality star turned entrepreneur (she owns her own jean line) will join her boyfriend, 27-year-old Orlando Gordon in holy matrimony on July 19, 2009, according to Sister 2 Sister magazine.
DEELISHIS ON HER PROPOSAL: "He and I were sitting around the house watching movies. Around 5, I went into the kitchen to grab something to eat and I came back in the bedroom and he was sitting there with this little box and he said, 'What are you doing for the rest of your life?' I was very shocked and surprised."

Deelishis said she and her hubby-to-be thought about eloping to avoid any media attention....what sort of media attention is beyond me....but instead decided to celebrate their union with their family and friends...and soon began making plans for a very large bridal party that will consist of 35 members including 15 bridesmaids and groomsmen. Of her engagement party, which was held at Orlando's nightclub (he also handled all the arrangements...food, decorations, music, etc. by his lonesome), Deelishis said:
"He had these flowers that were everywhere, and these vases had these orchids and roses and lilies. It was beautiful. For most of the party I was in tears. I just cried because I couldn't believe how beautiful it was. Then I just kept staring at this man, who, I knew we would have a long-lasting relationship but I never thought he would fall into suit of feeling as though he needed to make me his bride."
Mrs. Orlando Gordon's bridesmaids include SWV member Taj Johnson, former Flavor of Love 2 contestant Shay 'Buckeey' Johnson, model Toccara Jones, video vixen Angel Lola Luv plus Deelishis' two sisters and relatives from Orlando's side of the family. Orlando's 3-year old daughter, Orlandria....yes, Orlandria, has been given the title as flower girl, while Deelishis' 9-year-old daughter, Jasmine, will play her role as a junior bridesmaid. Deelishis said in choosing the members of her bridal party....particularly her bridesmaids, she wanted ladies 'who respect what marriage is, who respects my decision, who aren't going to be catty and who will keep this union tight.'

As for Flavor Flav. Who? And as for those wedding photos? Given Deelishis' addiction to and adoration of anyone's camera lens, chances are this time next year (that's if the wedding goes off without a hitch) there will be a plethora of images from her big day. Congratulations, Dee!

NEW PICS: BEYONCE'S $5 MILLION, 18-CARAT WEDDING RING MAKES ITS DEBUT AT FASHION ROCKS.

Jay-Z has let it be known that he don't play when it comes to icing up the hottest chick in the game. But was there every any doubt? All eyes were on Beyoncé Friday night, when, for the first time, the singer publicly displayed her wedding ring on the red carpet for Fashion Rocks at Radio City Music Hall in N.Y.C. The singer, 27, who secretly married rapper Jay-Z in April, flashed an 18 carat flawless diamond by Lorraine Schwartz, valued at more than $5 million dollars, according to the jeweler. Neither Beyoncé nor Jay-Z have publicly confirmed their marriage but in recent weeks, Beyoncé’s younger sister Solange referred to Jay-Z as her brother-in-law during a television interview. Later in the evening, Beyoncé took off the ring for a duet with Justin Timberlake (WATCH THE CLIP HERE), but the sparkler was visible when she donned a short, blonde wig to sing a tribute to blues singer Etta James whom she portrays in an upcoming movie (WATCH CLIP OF BEYONCE SINGING 'AT LAST' BY CLICKING HERE). The 5th annual Fashion Rocks concert will air Tuesday, September 9th on CBS at 9 pm.

In more Beyonce news, the singer says she is so 'over being a pop star' and now feels it's time for everyone to consider her as an 'icon' in the music industry. She tells Marie Claire magazine, "I'm over being a pop star. I don't want to be a hot girl. I want to be iconic. And I feel like I've accomplished a lot. I feel like I'm highly respected, which is more important than any award or any amount of records. And I feel like there comes a point when being a pop star is not enough....I now think I'm opening doors for more black women, just like Halle Berry and Diana Ross opened doors for me." And the usually humble singer feels sure her role -Etta James in Cadillac Records will be the part that will help her really show off her talents. "I’ve been saying for a long time that I wanted to do something dark. People are going to be very shocked. It’s the complete opposite of me. It was very emotionally draining. I was exhausted.”

In the meantime, check out pictures of Beyonce at Fashion Rocks.

THE JACKSONS HONORED WITH ICON AWARD AT THE BMI AWARDS; T-PAIN TAKES HOME TOP HONORS.

For the first time in I don't know how many years, the Jackson were honored and presented with the BMI Urban Awards prestigious Icon award last Thursday night. Now what Michael and Jermaine were doing that had them so tied up that they didn't bother to attend the event is anyone's guess. Mama Katherine and Papa Joe were in attendance, as were LaToya and Rebbie and Janet, who got choked up while introducing her big brothers Tito, Randy, Jackie and Marlon as they received their Icon award. Bless her heart. "Family is the most important commodity that all of us have," she said. "I am so proud to be able to salute my brothers." According to People magazine, Janet called off the names of each brother and said, "I salute you for your talent and your musical gifts you've given the world. I tell you that every time we speak. I'm so excited to salute you!" While Michael didn't make it to the event, his brothers offered their support for him and his upcoming album. "We haven't heard it, but we've heard about it," Randy told reporters. "It's going to be great."

Earlier in the evening, Tallahassee's home son, T-Pain (real name Faheem Najm) earned the coveted Songwriter of the Year crown and shared the Producer of the Year trophy with crossover king Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem and Kanye West. He picked up several other awards as well.
