T-BOZ NEWS: DENIES RUMORS OF SOLO ALBUM DROP THIS SUMMER; PICKS UP HAIR PRODUCT ENDORSEMENT; NEW PICS W/HER BOO.

According to various blogs and Atlanta radio stations, Tionne 'T-Boz' Watkins of TLC will drop her long-awaited debut solo album this summer featuring tracks produced by former Tony, Toni, Tone member, Raphael Saadiq, longtime TLC producer and songwriter Dallas Austin, Pharrell and up and coming producer Polow Da Don. Unfortunately, T-Boz fans will have to wait just a little while longer before they hear any new music (or album) from the raspy-voice singer because those reports are simply not true. Oh, and don't think she isn't aware of these rumors because she is. In an email sent to the administrator of TLC's biggest fan site on the Internet, Watkins wrote: "I don't know where they got that information. That's not true. But anyhoo I know I owe a song and I haven't forgot I just changed studios and I have to get it off the computer there and that should be soon. Their almost done setting it up. We just opened a studio called Stash House." She also made it clear that she hasn't worked with any of the aforementioned producers in this post, saying, "I have worked with Raphael but not for this album yet and I want to work with Polow but haven't yet but I just started my album!"

In related news, T-Boz has scored herself a new endorsement deal. Atlanta entrepreneur and 'hairstylist to the stars' DeShawn Bullard [CEO] of NouriTress Perfect Hair Products teamed up with the Grammy Award winning songstress and named her as the new NouriTress Perfect Hair Products national spokesperson. "I wasn't looking to endorse a product. I just wanted to be healthy, feel good and have beautiful hair again," said T-Boz, the former lead singer of the best selling female group of all time, TLC. "When you have a chronic illness like Sickle Cell, the toll on your body can really show up especially in your hair. Then DeShawn introduced me to NouriTress. It made my hair strong and healthy again. So I believe in it. Call it an endorsement if you want. It's just the truth," T-Boz concluded.

LIL KIM: FROM RAPPER TO ENTREPRENEUR: NEW FUR LINE, NEW BOOK, NEW MIXTAPE.

According to People.com, Lil' Kim is releasing her own range of fur. The hip-hop star - who is risking the wrath of animal rights group PETA (Here's my 2 cents: I bet they won't attempt to throw shade at Mary J. Blige, Patti LaBelle or Aretha Franklin! PETA is crazy...but they ain't that crazy!) with her latest career choice - is naming her new line Royalty Fur, a range of clothes and accessories all made from animal pelts. Lil' Kim - real name Kimberly Denise Jones - attended the New York premiere of family film The Perfect Holiday on Monday night (10.12.07) wearing a $5,000 brown fur coat with white fur trim from her collection. The 33-year-old rapper is also releasing a new mix album called Ms. G.O.A.T. this month. G.O.A.T. stands for 'Greatest Of All Time' and includes a cover of Britney Spears Gimme More, called Kimme More, which opens with line "It's Lil' Kim, ho," instead of "It's Britney, b***h". Kim said: "I always wanted to do a mix record. I did this for my fans. It's been 18 months since I got out of jail, I felt I owed them something. Although Kimberly Jones was getting her business straight and Kimberly Jones was getting herself straight, my music was my love."

According to a spokesperson for Lil Kim, the petite rapper is in the process of adding writer to her resume after signing on to pen a novel, called The Price of Loyalty. Publishers St. Martin's Press have signed a secret deal with the controversial star and she's furiously scribbling the paperback. A spokeswoman for Lil' Kim claims she'll write under her real name and the new tome won't be a biography. No details about the book have been revealed, but Lil' Kim is expected to recall her recent prison experience in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

50 CENT THROWS HIS HAND IN DESIGNING AUTOMOBILES?; RAPPER CREATES HIS OWN PONTIAC G8.

Rapper Curtis Jackson isn't quite as flamboyant as some of his musical contemporaries. In a unique collaboration with Pontiac, the hip-hop superstar better known as 50 Cent shows remarkable restraint in creating a special edition of the soon-to-be-released G8 sedan as part of the company's promotion for the model. The 50 Cent G8 was created in partnership with Will Castro's New York-based Unique Autosports and features a 7.0-liter LSX 427 V8 under the hood.

The special edition also includes a custom 800-watt JBL audio system, which bundles amplifiers, tuner, speakers and subwoofer, low-profile Pirelli Scorpion Zero tires on 22-inch NC Forged chrome deep-dish wheels, a Borla stainless-steel exhaust system and a Spies Hecker torch-red exterior paint job accented with dark-tinted glass and taillamps.

The only real hint of excess is found inside, where the black leather seats have been retrimmed with perforated red-leather inserts and a 50 Cent/Unique Autosports logo embroidered into the headrests.

While promoting her new "M" fragrance, Mariah Carey admitted she wasn't the type to wear perfume everyday until she got a whiff of her own concoction. "This is the first fragrance that I wear," Carey told the Associated Press in an interview Monday. "I'm not really a perfume person at all ... Things that are too strong and overwhelming, that's what I was always not a fan of." Carey says the scent came about after she was approached by Elizabeth Arden. The singer decided to give it a try because of the company's promise to allow her input through all stages of the product's development. "They were welcoming in my involvement just in every detail, and that was what was the most exciting thing to me," said Carey.

The fragrance, she says, is based on various scents that are near and dear to her heart. One is a Moroccan incense; another is a flower called the Living Tahitian Tiare. A third scent, believe it or not, is toasted marshmallows. That aroma was added because it brought back happy memories of her childhood around the campfire. But she adds: "It's blended in there — it's not like you're gonna walk around smelling like marshmallows."

The mixture comes in a purple bottle with her signature butterfly icon on top.
