ROMEO DISHES ON HIS NEW LIFE AS A COLLEGE FRESHMAN.

Rapper-turned-actor Romeo recently began his freshman year at the University of Southern California and says although he is enjoying college life, he now has to become more cognizant when it comes to securing his personal belongings since being robbed of three bikes after only five weeks on campus. These days, Romeo, who snagged a full scholarship (he plans to major in film production) at the University as well as a starting line-up point guard position on its basketball team, transportation on campus comes in the form of a measly $5 bike, or so he says. "Lock your bike!" the 19-year-old told People magazine. "Now I just have a little $5 bike that hopefully no one will want." And like his blinged-out daddy, P. Miller, Romeo is much more protective over his iced-out jewelry pieces. "I don't bring anything expensive to the dorms," says Romeo, who plans to major in film production. "I just sleep with my earrings on."

However, despite folks stealing his bikes, the rapper appreciates his new independence. "I love college life," he says. "It's like a vacation." And just like any other freshman, Top Ramen, cereal and Easy Mac crowd the kitchen counter tops of his dorm.

NEW PICS: WILL & JADA PINKETT SMITH ATTEND TREY'S J.V. FOOTBALL GAME.

Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith turned heads a couple of weeks in the small town of Bakersfield, California. No, they weren't there attending a red carpet event...although I'm sure the words 'Bakersfield' and red carpet event' are in no way synonymous with each other. Anyhoo, the celebrity couple came out to cheer on their oldest son (I say 'their son' because Jada considers Trey as much as her son as she does Jaden), 15-year-old Trey during a junior varsity football game between Westlake Village-Oaks Christian High School Bakersfield Christian High School. Trey, a sophomore, plays wide receiver for Westlake-Village.

According to reports, Big Willie didn't seem interested in what was going on around him until a parade of well-wishers and photo-seekers became a game of cat-and-mouse. Soon after, a local woman from Bakersfield called herself sashaying past Will and Jada while pretending she was on her cell phone. But she wasn't talking. She was trying to get close enough to the Smith's to snap a photo, but not before Smith's beefy bodyguards shooed her off. However, it was enough to impress a movie star. "I saw you!" Smith shouted after her. "That was very clever, very clever." And so Smith and family — wife Jada Pinkett Smith, one daughter in a "Smith" football jersey and the other in a Hancock baseball hat, plus son Jaden, who has his own budding movie career — took in Bakersfield Christian's junior-varsity game against Westlake Village-Oaks Christian. Shortly after the Smiths arrived near the beginning of the second quarter, word spread to the BCHS side of the stands and people began coming over to see Smith, one of the highest-grossing movie stars of all time.

First it was a couple of giggling girls. Then some students looking for a good story to tell their friends later. Then word spread some more. Soon, the assistants were telling people before they even approached that it was "family time" for Smith. Instead, the celebrity-seekers stood behind a fence a few hundred feet away and shouted "Hi, Will Smith!" He responded with a smile and wave, and then turned back to the game to watch the most famous JV squad in America. Later, during the varsity game, 49ers legendary quarterback Joe Montana appeared, standing quietly atop the visiting bleachers. No one seemed to turn a head.

NEW PICS: SERENA WILLAIMS WINS THE 2008 U.S. OPEN WOMEN'S FINAL.

A handful of celebs such as Kimora Lee Simmons, Djimon Hounsou, Star Jones (with her new boo), Dawnn Lewis and rapper/actor Common (Serena's boo) all attended the 2008 U.S. Open at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York City this weekend. Richard and Oracene Williams, the parents of Serena and Venus were also in attendance. After Serena Williams knocked her big sister Venus out of the competition on September 3rd, she went on to whole shebang against Jelena Jankovic on Sunday, September 7, 2008.

KIM KARDASHIAN ADMITS TO PRE-PLANNING SHE & REGGIE'S WEDDING.

So-called socialite Kim Kardashian recently responded to photos and video footage of her being seen thumbing through wedding magazines which have prompted folks to speculate that she and her do-boy Reggie Bush could soon be walking down the aisle. During a radio interview, Kim told radio host Ryan Seacrest that she had just spent the weekend in Las Vegas with 16 of her 'best friends', one of whom is getting married. Now this is the part I'm still trying to figure out: they were at a bachelorette party, but instead of them tipping strippers with dollar bills and boozing it up, they opted to sit their asses in a Las Vegas hotel room and look through wedding planning magazines! Also, during the interview, Kim mentioned that she was wowed at the fact that half of the girls at the bachelorette party already have engagement rings. That may be the reason why, in that pic at the top of this post, you see her trying on an engagement ring on the ring finger of her a LEFT HAND. Of course she's just practicing for the day when (not if) Reggie pops the question because, guess what, ol girl has also began planning her wedding with Ashy Reggie.

While laughing off rumors that the two are engaged, she wasted no time admitting to the fact that she is already making plans for their big day. "I'm going to have my whole wedding planned out, so that whenever I get asked there won't be any drama. You know Reggie will be so easy. He'll be like, 'Alright, babe, we'll do this. Check, check. We'll do this, we'll do that.' He's so easy. Plus he'll do what I tell him too. He just wants to pick the place. We talk about it. It's totally pre-planning so it will eliminate all the drama whenever it happens." When asked when (not if) will Reggie pop the question, without hesitation Kim said, 'Oh, it will definitely be after the [football] season. We have a while. We gotta focus. I'm in season three of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. He's in the season three of the NFL, so I just have a feeling that this is all going to be just a good year for us.

DWAYNE WADE REVEALS REASON WHY HE HAS CHOSEN TO GO BALD; BALLER ALSO SUED FOR BREACH OF CONTRACT REGARDING HIS RESTAURANTS.

"For those of you who haven't checked out my latest video from Vegas, you're missing my new look. I've cut all my hair off. I've gone bald for the simple fact that I'm focused solely on basketball. I'm not concerning myself with waking up in the morning, brushing my hair trying to look pretty. I'm really focused on playing and bringing home the gold. Also, in China I'm not letting anybody cut my hair. If you're not my barber, it's not happening. The bald look will last me the next 30 days. My head looks good, but my body feels even better...."

--That's D-Wade commenting on why he has chosen to go bald. The All-Star is now in Beijing, China preparing to bring home the Olympic gold medal alongside his USA Olympic teammates Jason Kidd, Kobe Bryant, Lebron James, Chris Paul and Dwight Howard. Wade says he has pushed his body past it's limits in an effort to perform at his very best during the Olympic games.

In related news, Wade is facing a lawsuit for breach of contract from former partners Mark Rodberg and Richard von Houtman. Rodberg and von Houtman helped Wade open two restaurants last year and were planning a third, according to a story in Florida's Sun-Sentinel. But both D. Wade's Sports Grills shut down in the last couple of months and the plaintiffs are saying it's because Wade didn't fulfill his end of the deal by making the required marketing and promotional appearances on behalf the restaurants. Wade, however, is saying that he did meet his obligations and Rodberg and von Houtman , who are looking for $15,000 and attorney's fees, needed to slow their roll and let the restaurants marinate for a minute before expanding.

"If anything, Dwyane has a concern that the value of his name has been tarnished by ceasing operation of the restaurants," Steven Peretz, Wade's attorney, told the Sun Sentinel. "This is an instance where D. Wade called a timeout on the expectation of the restaurants. The pilot restaurants have not shown any record for success."
