-Nick Cannon's former fiancee and Victoria's Secret model Selita Ebanks in Atlanta's Peach magazine giving props to Cannon and his new wife Mariah Carey's on their sudden marital bliss. Ebanks feelings for Cannon can't be too deep considering the fact that she and Cannon were only engaged for five months after knowing each other for just a couple of months. Cannon and Ebanks severed their wedding plans due to their 'hectic work schedules.' The Cayman Islands' beauty is now dating New York Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora. The two began dating (very) shortly after her breakup with Nick. I guess it's safe to assume she and Nick learned how to balance their 'hectic work schedules' enough to make room for a little marriage and romance with other people, huh? Ummmm-hmmmm.

IT'S A WRAP! NEWLYWEDS MARIAH CAREY & NICK CANNON ARE OFFICIALLY THE THIRSTIEST CELEBS IN THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY.

What I thought was a rumor concocted by two thirsty celebrities turned out to be oh so real. Mariah Carey, 39, and Nick Cannon, 27, reportedly became husband and wife after exchanging vows during a spontaneous and elaborate wedding ceremony at the singer's home in the Bahamas on Wednesday. The couple's nuptials were confirmed by Linda Cannon, one of Nick's family members. Linda told E! News, "He called and told us all about it. I'm not going to give you any details. If that is what he wants, then we are happy for him." Anyhoo, things began to heat up between the two after Nick teamed up with Mariah for her new video Bye, Bye, Bye back in March. This means Carey and Cannon hadn't dated a whole two months before jumping the broom. Damn, is dude that hard up to be someone's hubby? I mean, really. And if I'm not mistaken, and I know I'm not, Nick pulled this same 'get engaged in a hurry and do it big by letting the whole world know it' type of stunt when he proposed to Victoria's Secret model Selita Ebanks via the jumbo-tron in New York City's Time Square....just four months after meeting her in Las Vegas during All-Star weekend. Five months later, Ebanks spokeswoman claimed the couple called off their engagement in order 'to focus on their careers but still very much love each other and remain the best of friends.' But what's more bizarre are reports claiming Carey has refused to sign a pre-nuptial agreement before marrying for a second time (she married Columbia Records executive Tommy Mottola in 1993...then divorced him in 1998) which has her family and close friends worried.

Carey's folks have confirmed the singer's ring is a flawless, platinum, 17-carat custom-made Jacob & Company bauble loaded with pink and lavendar diamonds which set Cannon back about $2.5 million.

MARIAH CAREY & NICK CANNON REPORTEDLY ENGAGED, ACCORDING TO 'ACCESS HOLLYWOOD.'

It's stories like the one below that make me fully understand why chicks never stick around to deal with Nick Cannon's corny ass. I swear to God he has got to be the most thirsty celebrity in the entertainment industry....and Mariah Carey's diva-fied self is slowly but surely gaining up on him. Take this following information with a grain of salt, but according to Access Hollywood, these two clucks are allegedly engaged. A source close to Mariah has confirmed to Access Hollywood that the music diva is engaged to Nick Cannon. Reps for both singers were unavailable for comment. The couple sent the rumor mill into overdrive when 38-year-old Mariah (with Nick on her arm) was seen sporting a dazzling new piece of bling on her ring finger at the after party for her Tribeca film, Tennessee, in New York. When asked at the party what he loved about Mariah, 27-year-old Nick gave a one-word answer. “Everything,” he told People. Let me find out these two give a new meaning to the phrase 'birds of a feather flock together....'

Up until recently, Mariah had been romantically linked to music executive Mark Sudack. However, she never confirmed the romance. Mariah was previously married to record executive Tommy Mottola from 1993 to 1998. Nick, who has been romantically linked to Christina Milian, Kim Kardashian and former Miss USA Rachel Smith. Cannon was also previously engaged to Victoria’s Secret model Selita Ebanks in 2007. However, the couple called off the engagement that same year.

This will be the first marriage for the Drumline star.

The National Enquirer is claiming an alleged source has revealed Mariah Carey is secretly dating semi-rapper/actor Nick Cannon after the actor starred in the singer's video from her new album E=MC2. The source claims Carey is keen to keep the romance under wraps: "Mariah is the master when it comes to keeping her relationships secret. Even though she's a big star, she likes to keep her private life to herself." Hmmm-mmm. If this rumor is true, then maybe Carey is dating Cannon because their both in the entertainment industry. Just last week Carey explained why she prefers to only date other celebrities, because according to her 'only a man living in the media spotlight can understand the perils of fame' and 'any future boyfriend would have to be famous to be able to get along with her.' Um, what the hell is wrong with Nick Cannon? Dude jumps in and out of relationships more than females. And that is not a good look. Trust. Within the past 2 years, he has gone from dating Christina Milian to Kim Kardashian (which didn't last long) to popping the big question in front of thousands to Victoria's Secret model Selita Ebanks before freezing her finger with a 15 carat diamond engagement ring (after only dating her for 4 months). And now, according to OK! magazine, 27-year-old rapper/actor, who recently severed his impending nuptials with the supermodel, has already moved on and is reportedly dating reigning Miss USA Rachel Smith. The magazine says Cannon and the 22-year-old beauty queen--who bears a similar resemblance to Nick's ex--were spotted a couple of week's ago enjoying each other's company at MTV's Pageant Place reality show wrap party at New York City hotspot, Tenjune before leaving together hand in hand.

Just last week, sources revealed details to the New York Post that Cannon has sent his new love (for the moment) several dozen roses, chocolates and balloons. Also, the hallway outside of her apartment door has been flooded with gifts from the actor – each containing a different personalized, handwritten note. No word yet if Smith has responded to any of his advances.

I can't wait until the new season of Wild 'N Out starts. I'll bet dollars to donuts that Mikey, DeRay, 'What my name is, Shawty!' and Spanky are gonna blast his ass out something proper-like! LOL! NICK CANNON MAY BE ENGAGED, BUT SAYS HE'S IN NO HURRY TO GET MARRIED.

Nick Cannon is engaged, but he's in no hurry to get married just yet. "I did my part!" Cannon told PEOPLE Tuesday night at Ecko's 5th annual "Tikva Drive for Life," a charity golf event to support orphaned and abandoned children in the Ukraine. "You did what you had to do ... you made the commitment. Now it's like, let's just enjoy this for right now." The Drumline actor – who used a jumbotron in Times Square and a horse-drawn carriage in his marriage proposal to Victoria's Secret model Selita Ebanks last May – says they haven't set a date or a place for the ceremony. "We haven't really talked about a lot of that stuff. You've got to take it slow," he says.

Cannon – who is gearing up to host the Teen Choice Awards with Hilary Duff on August 26 – is a fan of the long engagement because, "you get to know people." "It's that preparation time to see if this is what you really want," the comedian/actor said at the Tuesday night event, held at Chelsea Piers in Manhattan.

A friend of Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, Cannon also weighed in on the couple's pregnancy: "She had good parenting, so she'll know how to get it going." What kind of dad will Joel be? "He'll be a cool dad. The coolest dad. Any rock 'n' roll dad is a cool dad."
