KATT WILLIAMS TO STAR IN HIS OWN COMEDY CENTRAL SKETCH COMEDY SHOW.

Katt Williams is getting his hustle on at Comedy Central. The self-described "pimp" is close to wrapping a deal that will net him a pilot for a sketch comedy series as well as a comedy special, reports Variety. Williams will star in and executive produce the series, along with Jeff Golenberg and Michael Green. Details of the sketch comedy are still being hammered out.

In related news, Williams' It's Pimpin' Pimpin' tour ranks as one of Pollstar's top live comedy acts of 2008 thus far, generating $17 million in ticket sales and volume of half a million ticketbuyers since it kicked off in January. The special, shot during the Washington, D.C., leg of the tour, is the part-three continuation of Williams' successful Pimp Chronicles franchise. Katt Williams: Pimp Chronicles Part 1 and last year's follow-up, Katt Williams: American Hustle, both released on disc by Salient Media, have sold a combined 1.2 million DVD units. Part 1, which was taped in Atlanta, garnered 3.6 million viewers on HBO in 2006, making it the cable company's top-rated comedy spesh that year. American Hustle, which combined scripted sequences with 2007 tour footage and included appearances by Snoop Dogg, Jeremy Piven and Ludacris, made its TV premiere in January on Comedy Central.

KATT WILLIAMS 'THANKS' HIS LOYAL FANS BY DOLING OUT C-NOTES DURING A STAND-UP SHOW.

Even a pint-sized standup comedian can use a good prop, and Katt Williams had one of the best — a briefcase stuffed with cash. While he cracked jokes at the Laugh Factory last Sunday night, the comedian with a taste for fedoras, wide lapels and luxurious hair stunned fans when he handed out $100 bills to everyone in the audience - leaving him $29,000 out of pocket. Laugh Factory owner Jamie Masada explained how Williams wanted to show he had not forgotten his roots and gave out the large bills as a 'thank you' to his loyal fans. He adds, "You should have seen it. Some people were crying. They came to see the show and they got $100." Well, at least those folks at the Laugh Factory got their money's worth as well as a Big Ben from Williams. Unfortunately though, fans who attended the comedian's It's Pimpin' Pimpin' Comedy Tour stop in Chicago late last year can't say the same. After Williams admitted to giving a drunk-and-high-as-hell piss-poor performance at the Arie Crown Theater in Chicago, the petite pimp promised his fans that he'd give them their money back and a free copy of his new cd.

According to one concert goer: The show was so bad that Katt was having conversations with members of the audience. Whatever the people were saying he said that he wanted to leave us with something good, his new cd for free and a full rebate on our tickets. I was so happy to hear that I would be getting my $160 back, considering I really didn’t enjoy the show. When he said that we would be getting our money back, he meant it. Even his manager didn’t believe it and he apologized to us and told us he was completely serious and to speak to the people at the box office. When we left I was happy to be getting something out of the night. We reached the box office with our free cd to find the security telling people that there would be no refunds handed out and that Katt Williams was full of shit.

Dude, I just want my money back for a shitty performance.

Ain't that a kick in the head?

NEW PICS: CAN YOU SAY INKED UP 'FANATIC'? KATT WILLIAMS & ICE CUBE CAN.

Rapper/actor Ice Cube was left speechless recently - when he met a fan with his name tattooed on his face. The frightened star decided it was probably best not to ask why the man had decided to have 'Ice Cube' permanently inked on his forehead. Cube says, "I met a fan that had my name tattooed on their forehead. I was pretty much speechless. I wanted to ask them why they'd do that, but then I thought it would just open up a big old can of worms. It scared me." BLOGGER'S NOTE: Sorry folks. There isn't a picture. You're just gonna have to take Cube's word for it.

In related news, no one can tell Katt Williams he's skimpin' on his pimpin'. He recently discovered that he too has a fan who didn't mind inking up her back in honor of his pint-size highness. After his stand-up comedy show at the South Beach Comedy Festival in Miami Beach last Thursday, Williams was photographed outside of his tour bus with an unidentified woman who proudly (well, I guess you really can't say 'proudly' considering the fact that she didn't show her face) donned a large tattoo of the comedian on her upper-left side of her back. But she wrong as hell for putting that ashy-ass elbow of hers on display though. That is not the business nor is it a good look. It ain't like it's cold down there in Miami. Peep the pics below.

PICS: ASHANTI'S 80s THEMED B-DAY PARTY @ CAFE DUPRI'S IN ATLANTA

I've never seen Ashanti and her boyfriend, Nelly show so much affection towards each other in public before. That's a good look. They look adorable together...as well as very much in love DESPITE Deelishis flapping her recently-installed porcelain veneered chops claiming Ashanti and Nelly's relationship is fake. Heffa, your ass kissed Flavor Flav in the mouth and said you liked it..so now we're supposed to believe you when you start yapping off at that contaminated hole you call a mouth about someone else's relationship? Sorry, we don't believe you! You need more people!

After Saturday night's taping of the B.E.T. Hip Hop Awards show in Atlanta, the R&B singer celebrated her 27th birthday at Jermaine Dupri's 'Cafe Dupri' in Atlanta with an 80s hip-hop-type theme. I think she pulled it off really well. Also in attendance were Jermaine Dupri, of course, Ne-Yo and Katt Williams. Looks like a good time was had by all. Can you imagine the music that was played at that party? I'm getting nostalgic just thinking about it! LOl! Doug E. Fresh, Slick Rick, Whodini, JJ Fad, MC Hammer, Oaktown 3-5-7, LL Cool J., Roxanne Shante, The Real Roxanne, Run-DMC, The Fat Boys, Heavy D. & the Boyz, Kurtis Blow, Salt 'N Pepa...just to name a few!
