Ever since Usher married his favorite man cousin a week ago, I know I am not the only person who has wondered just what Chilli's thoughts were on his over-the-top and very publicized wedding/marriage. Especially when you consider the fact that Usher once claimed that one of the reasons for his and Chilli's break-up 3 years ago was because Chilli wanted to settle down, get married and make a decent man out of him...as if that's possible, but I'll digress. Well, earlier this week while appearing on Ryan Cameron's Morning Show on Atlanta's V-103 radio station, the 'sexy' component of TLC finally spoke her piece regarding his nuptials. She also talked about the close relationship she still has with his mother, Jonetta.More details plus pictures of Chilli in the V-103 studio and a lil tiny bit of juicy gossip regarding Usher trying to win back the very person he once called the 'one true love of his life' after the jump.
According to ajc.com, as morning announcer Rashan Ali was spilling details about Usher and Tameka's second ceremony on air Tuesday, a distinct giggle could be heard in the background. It was Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas of TLC, a one-time, longtime girlfriend of the Atlanta R&B superstar. Ali broke from her entertainment report to ask Thomas what she thought about the nuptials —- or more specifically, about Usher's mother reportedly not attending. "I don't think anything," she replied, still laughing. "I don't think anything." Thomas did add that she stays in touch with Jonetta Patton, or as she calls her "Mama J." She also said that she and Usher "had chemistry." "I wish [Usher] well in everything he does."
Oh, and yall didn't hear this from me, but word around the 'A' is that Usher had still been trying to hook up with Chilli even after he married Tameka in his lawyer's office. I say 'still' because he never stopped...until he finally walked down the aisle. It's no secret that Chilli and Jonetta are still tight (this was a well known fact even before Chilli confirmed it.). I'm willing to bet dollars to donuts that because of Chilli's and Jonetta's relationship, Usher may have tried to somehow coerce his mom into giving up Chilli's digits (Chilli changed all of her contact numbers after they broke up so that he'd have no way of reaching out to her). When that didn't work, he took it a step forward: dude was often seen driving past her house. She could change her numbers, but she couldn't change her home address. Her home just happened to be the same home she was having renovated while she and her son Tron were living with Usher in his mansion that he now has up for sale.
Some would even say that he tried his best to win Chilli back right up until the day he got married. Now, don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that this is the reason Jonetta was a no-show at her son's funeral...I meant wedding. I'm pretty sure she had many other reasons as to why she didn't attend. Can you blame her?
This is all heresay. So, like I said, yall didn't hear this from me! LOL!
Oh, and one last tidbit. Besides working on her debut solo album, Chilli also revealed that she's starting her own handbag line aptly titled Bags By Chilli

I wouldn't mind if they got back together. They were a dynamic couple. This man that Usher shacked up with cannot compare to Chilli.

So whose the dude sitting next to Chilli in those pictures that I got from V-103 website? That's Ryan, right? Yeah, that's what I thought. And whether his show is in the morning or in the afternoon is an irrevelant error on my part.
