Awards at The Allen Room at Jazz located in the Lincoln Center in New York City on Saturday night (October 6, 2007).
The Black Girls Rock Awards recognizes exceptional women of color who have made outstanding contributions in their careers and communities. Actresses Gabrielle Union and Regina King co-hosted the event.
