Hannibal was known as Chauncey Black when he was a member of the group Blackstreet. He was extradited from Los Angeles to Virginia Beach Monday. Police had been looking for Hannibal since January 2007, when they issued a warrant for his arrest on a charge of grand larceny. He's accused of looting a house overlooking the Chesapeake Bay after he was evicted in July 2006. Hannibal, 39, declined an interview request.
The singer won a Grammy in 1997, but fell on hard financial times after Blackstreet split up and declared bankruptcy.
