Well, touch me in the morning and then just walk away. That's how surprised I was upon finding out that actress Jasmine 'Whitley Gilbert-Wayne' Guy filed for divorce from her husband of nearly 10 years, Terrence Duckett. According to People magazine, the Guy, 46, cites irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split from Duckett, also 46. Guy is seeking physical and legal custody of their 9-year-old daughter, Imani, with visitation for Duckett. She is also requesting that the court deny any spousal support to Duckett, but is asking it from him. It has been reported on tmz.com that A Different World star has a laundry list of stuff she plans to keep. In court papers filed April 3, Guy has two pages of items she lists as being her "separate property." They include her wedding ring, five paintings, two sculptures, three checking accounts, full ownership in one production company and half of another, her tax refunds, her Blackberry, four DVD players, pots, pans, and a toaster. No word on how the separation and subsequent divorce will affect the business (and/or personal) relationship the couple share with the First Lady of Turks & Caicos Islands, actress LisaRaye McCoy Misick and her hubby of three years, the Honorable Michael Misick. Guy and Duckett are both executive directors of the Turks & Caicos Film Festival.

TMZ can be so extra sometimes. They made it seem like Jasmine was asking for everything BUT custody of their daughter. Thanks for getting the story straight, SG.
Well, all I know is if Tisha and Duane or Will and Jada break up and/or divorce, I'mma have some problems with that. Those guys are like my top 2 favorite celeb couples.
Well Im really sorry for that little girl, I thought for sure her mommy and daddy were going to be together, and I was surprise that jasmine would even have a child without knowing if her man would be able to with stand the test of her demands, but it just goes to show that even the best of the best are all human, and changeing times have everything to do with love and marraige
