Rapper Lil' Kim is claiming that her car that was repossessed – in front of a New York television crew (watch video clip here)– was not meant to be taken from her as if was given as a gift, and that the whole situation was a misunderstanding. The rapper, who's real name is Kimberly Jones, was visited by repossession company Commercial Service Corps, who proceeded to hook up and haul off her silver Bentley, and claim that "she didn't wanna cooperate". The men also claimed the rapper received a warning after months of outstanding car payments on her luxury automobile. In the video clip, Kim can be heard telling the repo men her accountant would straighten out the situation before telling reporters, “Get the fuck out here, you are so fucking ridiculous!,” when asked for a comment. Today (Thursday, May 1st)Tracy Nguyen, Jone's rep, has attempted to clarify the incident. "The car was a gift, given four years ago by a well-known music producer (blogger's note: Kim once dated music producer Scott Storch who apparently stopped making payments on the Bentley). This matter is currently being resolved and is completely out of Kim's hands," Nguyen said.In other Lil Kim news, Trackmasters, the producers working on the rapper's untitled comeback album, have described it as “a cross between [Lil' Kim's] Hardcore and [Nas'] It Was Written.” The producers say the album crosses boundaries between samples and live sounds, yielding “a sexy, but hard album” that will restore the queen to her rightful throne.
