BEYONCE & KELLY BACK NEW HOUSING DEVELOPMENT 'KNOWLES-ROWLAND TEMENOS PLACE APARTMENTS' TO HELP THE LESS FORTUNATE.

Destiny's children victimized by Hurricane Katrina and other misfortunes will soon have a new shelter from life's storms. Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland were on hand Wednesday for the groundbreaking of the Knowles-Rowland Temenos Place apartments on the corner of Gray and Chenevert.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, efforts began to construct Phase I of the $4 million "Knowles-Rowland Temenos Place Apartments." Last month Temenos CDC received the final funding needed for construction. The housing development is the result of a collaboration with House of Deréon founders Tina Knowles and Beyonce Knowles, Survivor Foundation, Inc., the City of Houston, and St. John's Downtown (Church Home of the Knowles Family). The project is a 43 unit, single room occupancy supportive housing facility for at-risk populations designed to provide permanent living accommodations for women and men who are taking significant steps in improving their lives after the traumatic effects of personal and natural disasters. The apartments will provide "a safe place to live" for all residents. www.survivorfoundationofHouston.org.

Beyoncé, Rowland, and Solange, Mathew and Tina Knowles have pledged $1 million to the project. Wal-Mart and American Express also are contributors to Temenos. Giorgio Armani and L'Oreal, both of which have signed Beyoncé to endorsement deals, also support the project.

Located on the same block as the "Knowles-Rowland Temenos Place Apartments" is a 1.2 million Knowles-Rowland Center for Youth which is a multipurpose recreational complex for youth and a youth HIV education and risk reduction program called "Breaking The Silence."

BET ANNOUNCES PREMIERE DATES FOR NEW FALL LINEUP OF RETURNING SHOWS & NEW ORIGINAL PROGRAMMING.

Well, yall, it looks as if the folks over at BET are gearing up for another season of brand new shows as well as returning series that just may become some of the most non-entertaining shows since....last season! I'm just playing! One thing I ain't playing about is that Take the Cake. They can get rid of that. Well, no, let me rephrase that: they can replace Toccara with someone else because no one should be subjected to hearing her annoying ass voice night after night. Ugh, God! Who told her she has a voice fit for television? Either she's overacting, being too extra (or whatever you want to call it) or she's just...damn, annoying. Did I tell yall that I had to put my tv on mute while watching/listening to her on the BET awards? Yes, it was that serious. And that's real talk right there. Trust.

Anywhoo, read on to see what's new and what shows are coming back. From the looks of it, BET may have a little sum'em-sum'em for just about everyone. I found more than a couple that yanked my attention.

DIDDY'S NEW UNFORGIVABLE COMMERCIAL COULD BE FORGOTTEN IF HE DOESN'T CHANGE IT.

A controversial TV commercial showing rap mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs cavorting with scantily clad women could be banned by MTV. The saucy shoot for his fragrance Unforgivable depicts the hip-hop star in a stairwell and hotel room "hiking up" a model Jessica Gomez' and putting his hands underneath her dress. Another scene shows a woman holding the model's breast and pulling down her underwear. But television executives have scrapped the commercial - ordering Combs to make changes to it or it will not be aired, reports the New York Post's gossip column PageSix. So far, he has refused to change one frame, reports the Post.
This isn't the first time Diddy's Unforgivable ad campaign has been deemed too sexually explicit. Last year, Diddy took some heat for another Unforgivable fragrance ad, which featured him in a threesome. That ad was banned from several department stores and city bus stops. Ultimately, the rapper was forced to do a re-shoot.

"Your Prayers Worked!!!" began Sherri Shepherd in a posting on her Web site. The actress was saluting fans who actively campaigned for her to become a permanent co-host on ABC's "The View." "I just want to give a heartfelt thank you to all of my fans who tirelessly emailed and wrote Barbara Walters, Bill Geddie and the ABC executives on my behalf," wrote Shepherd. "To think that you all took time out of your busy lives, leaves me speechless."

After a summer full of guest appearances that served as unofficial auditions, Shepherd made her debut Monday as a permanent co-host, joining Whoopi Goldberg as the show's other new employee.

"To those of you who prayed ... let me tell you ... PRAYERS WORK! Because it is a miracle of God that I am now a co-host on "The View,'" she adds on her site. FOXY RELEASES 1st JAILHOUSE STATEMENT + TOP 10 THINGS OVERHEARD @ HER SENTENCING

If this girl tells one more lie! TMZ.com reveals what most of us have speculated to be true: Foxy Brown is NOT pregnant. Though I'm not surprised to hear this news, it's still a crying shame that she would even fixed her fibbing face to say such a thing! They should tack on more time to her sentence for that alone. How you gon' stand before a judge and declare you're 3 months pregnant when you know good and well you ain't? If I'm not mistaken, that's called perjury, isn't it?

Despite telling the New York Post last month that she is pregnant and would be getting married in September, well, basically she lied. Foxy Brown is, in fact, not with child, her manager Chaz Williams said Wednesday. In August, defense lawyers told a judge that Foxy, whose real name is Inga Marchand, was three months pregnant. It really didn't matter because the judge kept her word (she'd told Foxy after she violated her probation for the 2nd time that she would serve a year in prison) and the rapper to a year in prison for violating her probation, after she was arrested last month on charges that she hit her neighbor with a BlackBerry. Brown didn’t address the rumored pregnancy in Williams’ statement, but she did comment on her recent sentence to a year in prison for probation violation. "This is just a temporary situation," she said. "I made my bed and have no problem lying in it. My will is steady. What doesn't kill me will only make me stronger."

DIDDY'S OTHER BABY MAMA, SARAH CHAPMAN, HAS A LOT TO SAY...AND SHE AIN'T HOLDING BACK.

You all may have already either read or heard about this by now...and I would've posted it earlier, but lately I...nevermind...alright already. Stop torturing me!! Geesh! My attention span hasn't been up to par these last few days. Maybe it's from lack of sleep...I don't know. LOL! Like I was saying, for my readers that haven't heard about the madness and mayhem that's surrounding Diddy and his baby mama Kim Porter, the interview you're about to read will probably astound you. We're all aware of Porter's babbling to Essence magazine regarding the demise of her relationship with Diddy--she snidely stated to Essence magazine that one of the reasons for their break-up was due to Dumb-Dumb Diddy knocking up one of his jump-offs. Well, now that jump-off, Sarah Chapman of Atlanta, GA has stepped up to speak her piece on this situation. Chapman spoke exclusively to my fellow blogger Sandra Rose(last year Rose broke the news regarding Diddy's relationship with Chapman and the baby girl who was the result of it) at Sandrarose.com to reveal her side of the story.

The tale of this trifling trio gets more and more tenacious with each passing day.

Yesterday I spoke by phone with Sarah Chapman, the mother of Sean Combs first daughter who turned one last week. I am honored that Sarah chose Sandrarose.com to give her very first interview - even though she she didn't originally intend to be interviewed by me.

Sarah was soft spoken and articulate during our 40-minute phone conversation. There are things she told me that I chose not to publish here. Never one to be greedy, I knew this wasn't the right forum for what she had to say. I asked Sarah to speak to someone at a national magazine to get her story out. I told her how much money she could make for her story, but Sarah wasn't impressed with the money. She was so humble that I was awed by her. She wanted to speak to me first, she said. She was happy that I portrayed her in a positive light, but she wanted to clear up a few errors in yesterday's post regarding Kim Porter's interview with Essence magazine. Sarah said, "I just wanted to let you know that whatever you write about me I want it to be truthful things."

"I never moved out of Atlanta," she said. "I have always lived here and I'm definitely 33. I graduated [from Spelman] in '96. My birthday is next week and I'm going to be 34," she said. "I never ran away from Atlanta because I was pregnant." Sarah, who was born in Minneapolis, said she moved to Atlanta at age 17 to attend Spelman College.

Sarah's response to Kim's assertion that she didn't know her: "A lot of what you said is true about me and Kim. There's so much more to the story than that. She definitely knows who I am," said Sarah. "Yes, it's true, we've had words. [Kim] knew about my pregnancy prior to her getting pregnant. In fact, Kim and I met [Sean] at the same time."

Sarah stressed that she doesn't seek out the spotlight: "That's not for me. I don't enjoy that. I'll let Kim have that"

She also talked about the rumors that surrounded her pregnancy last year: "There's been rumors out there that [Sean Combs] offered me a million dollars to not have the baby, said Sarah. "If he gave me a million dollars I wouldn't be calling him every month for child support," she joked. "I mean, he pays me on a monthly basis, but there's rumors that he offered me a million dollars hush money."

About her longterm relationship with Sean, Sarah said, "He and I are friends, we've always been friends. I've known him for a long time - 13 years exactly. Sarah adding that they dated "on and off" over those years. "I know it sounds very cliché, but we really are friends. It's never been a situation where I'm trying to step on top of [Kim] or I'm trying to be in her position."

Sarah expressed surprise that Kim dropped her name in the Essence interview. "She threw my name in that shit," said Sarah, raising her voice slightly. Regarding Kim's revelation that Kim didn't speak to Sean Combs about Sarah's baby until after her twins were born, Sarah said, "the scary part is that any woman can be with a man and not even mention to him 'oh, I heard you got another woman pregnant' - that's really scary. For the longest time she never mentioned my pregnancy to him. She kept it a secret to herself so it wouldn't take the shine off of her," said Sarah. "I thought [Sean] was lying, but he said Kim never mentioned my pregnancy to him."

Sarah stressed she wanted the opportunity to tell her side of the story in a national forum. "I don't have a voice," she said softly. "I don't have a forum to speak about my child. He has the forum. I'm not a superstar, he's the superstar. He's the person that should be out there acknowledging his child. I'm going on with my daily life and raising my child. We do what we do. We go to Sesame Street and the zoo," said Sarah.

"Now that she's lured me out, let me paint the picture. I don't want anyone else to paint the picture. Let me have a say so," she said. "I need to have a voice. I want to be heard."

REMY MA FACES MORE CHARGES AFTER ALLEGEDLY HAVING THE BOYFRIEND OF A WITNESS IN HER CASE BEAT DOWN

I am thoroughly convinced that Remy Ma is crazier than she looks in that picture on the left. Just beyond bonkers. This heffah-hussie is now facing BRAND NEW charges that include: gang assault, tampering with a witness, intimidating a witness and third degree assault over some mediocre bullsh!t. I don't know whose more dense in the head: Remy, Foxy or Britney Spears. And that's really all I have to say about that.

Crazypants rapper Remy Ma is in even deeper legal ma-nure today, after allegedly having her heavies put the beatdown on the boyfriend of a potential witness in her earlier assault case.

TMZ has learned that Remy (real last name Smith) was at Players Club in the Bronx on August 19 when a tussle went down. At the club, Remy saw the boyfriend of a possible witness in her earlier case -- in which she's accused of the July 14 shooting of a friend she accused of stealing $2,000 from her purse -- and allegedly had her posse rough him up, fracturing his face.

A friend of the man was also injured, requiring hospitalization for a week. In addition to the multiple assault and weapons charges she's already facing for the July 14 incident, Manhattan DA spokesman Edison Alban tells TMZ that Ma is now facing charges of gang assault, tampering with a witness, intimidating a victim and third-degree assault. She was released on $250,000 bail, had to hand over her passport, and will be back in court September 20 to review her bail privileges.

The winner will be selected based on creativity, originality, and how much they actually look like their celeb. PICS OF 2 OF 3 OF TAMEKA FOSTER'S CHILDREN

A lot of folks have been wondering what the kids of that old walking, talking negro spiritual Usher calls a wife look like. Especially since we never see them with her as often (too damn often if you asked me) as we see her with Usher. If one didn't know any better, they'd probably think this lady was pregnant with her first child and that she didn't have a trio of others stashed away some place. Well, I was able to lay my hands on a couple of pics. We all know that Mr., er....um...I meant Mrs. Foster-Raymond has 3 kids with one on the way. The photos below are of who I believe to be her 2 youngest sons: the older son in the first pic is Ryan--obviously named after his father I presume. You all may have seen a pic of lil dude with Usher during the Cleveland Cavaliers play-off game that landed them into the NBA Finals (I would post it, but I really and truly don't feel like it...okay, I just don't want to. There, I said it.); and the youngest one, well, I have no idea what his name his.

Coincidentally, when Tameka spoke to ESSENCE.com in an exclusive interview, she was asked what her reaction was when folks labeled her as a 'poor mom' because, supposedly, she's never with her children. Tameka countered: "Do you think Usher would really be engaged to a woman who would leave her kids?" (let me put in my 2 cents to answer her question: Well, I guess not since he also didn't have a problem with proposing to a woman who was still legally married--with those same kids--to her first husband. Okay, I'm finished.) "My children are with us much more than people think. They’ve gone to the Bahamas with us and attended play-off games. I purposely keep my children out of view. I don’t want them scrutinized and talked about because that would be a problem. Everyone wants to know, “Where are her kids?” Out of these pictures, that’s where."

What a coinky-dink because those 2 places happen to be the only 2 places where we've seen her kids...at least 2 of the 3 of them with her and Usher. I refuse to believe that you have your school age children traveling with you and your man as much as you and your man travel. I refuse to believe it, Meek Man. But there's something I don't get: she says she keeps her kids 'out of these pictures' because she doesn't want them to be scrutinized and talked about, but yet, we see these kids in pictures of the places she mentioned above. If that was going to be a problem, why not keep the kids out of all pictures altogether?

Needless to say, the pics (that you will see below) were taken in the Bahamas during the grand opening of the Cove Atlantis Resort back in May.

ANGELA BASSETT & HUBBY TO SALE HOME IN ORDER TO RELOCATE TO SEND THEIR KIDS TO PUBLIC SCHOOL.

Well, this is something you don't see in Hollywood: big name celebrities opting to send their kids to public schools instead of those stuffy, boring and oftentimes overrated (as well as overpriced) private and/or boarding schools. Don't get me wrong. I'm making no implications whatsoever that there is something wrong with private schools. My niece and godson both attend private schools. It's just rare that you hear celebrities doing the same. That's why I was shocked to learn that actress Angela Bassett and her husband, actor Courtney B. Vance have chosen to take that route. The couple has placed their five bedroom Los Angeles home on the market for nearly $6 million, according to the Los Angeles Times. Located in gated Fremont Place near Hancock Park, the 5,000-square-foot main house was built in 1940. The actors have lived in their home since they were married 10 years ago. Now, they want to move in order to send their twins to public school.

According to the Times, many children who live in the couple's community attend private schools, but the stars prefer not to send their twins to private schools.

TRICK DADDY GETS TRUMPED UP & ARRESTED @ TOOTSIE'S STRIP CLUB IN MIAMI

Damn, Tricky! Come on, man, it's one thing to get your ass beat. But to get your ass beat at a strip club before being arrested and wheeled away from said strip club and have it all caught on camera is truly something else. Talk about embarrassing. This is exactly what happened to Miami native and rapper Trick Daddy (real name Maurice Young). According to the Miami Herald, Trick Daddy Dollars was arrested early Tuesday (September 11) morning after a fight at the Miami Gardens strip club Tootsie's. Young sustained minor injuries from the melee--although from his mug shot it appears as if he got his ass royally whupped--and was treated at Jackson Memorial hospital before spending time behind bars at a Broward County jail. The rapper has been charged with disorderly intoxication and resisting arrest. He is currently being held on $1,500 bail, according to Allhiphop.com.

No details have been released as to what sparked the scuffle.
Footage aired on WSVN-7 showed the rapper being carried away from the strip club on a stretcher and into an ambulance. Representatives for Trick Daddy were not available as of press time.

*sighing* The man I thought I was going to spend the rest of my life with has married another woman. Oh, but don't get it twisted though. He only married her because he doesn't know I exist! Trust! Let's get that straight right now! LOL! No, I'm only joking. Seriously, Daron Jones (member of R&B group 112, singer/songwriter/producer/...and everything else that has to do with music) recently jumped the broom with his longtime girlfriend, whose name I don't know so I'll just call her Mrs. Jones, in Atlanta. When I first learned of his nupitals on Sandra Rose's blog a few weeks ago, I didn't want to believe it. That old saying 'a picture is worth a thousand words' have never been truer than when I laid eyes on the following pics for the first time.

But for the record: if she ever hurts him in any way, shape or form and I find out about it, please believe that I will track her down and show the hell out! Other than that, I'd like to take this time to wish him and his new bride a prosperous life together. Besides, it would be un-southernly (if it ain't a real word to yall, consider it a real word for this post) for a Southern Gurl such as myself to not wish the couple well. And we all know I'm a southern gurl to the core.

So with a heavy and, yes, a very broken heart, I present to you Mr. and Mrs. Daron Jones. Please excuse me while I go listen (and sing off-key) to Vesta Williams' 'Congratulations.'

Meanwhile, 50's rumored flame Ciara told red carpet reports that she was unable to make MTV's VMAs because of a prior commitment.

In a project to rival Bravo's Being Bobby Brown, veteran musician Ike Turner is hoping to launch a reality series based on his volatile relationship with ex-wife Audrey Madison, the woman he claims tried to kill him with an overdose of prescription pills. According to WENN, the 75-year-old divorced artist is now back together with Madison, his background singer, and looking to make some money off of their quirky relationship. Friends insist the couple will be together forever, because she's the only woman who is "wilder than he is." One source says: "He's been used to marrying groupies he could control." In addition to working on their relationship and pitching a new reality TV show, the duo is currently planning a tour of Europe.
