DIDDY SERVES HIS LAST MEAL @ HIS JUSTIN'S RESTAURANT IN NEW YORK CITY.

Diddy can sell clothes. Diddy can sell fragrances. Hell, Diddy can even sell a couple of monotone-sounding records. But one thing Diddy hasn't been able to sell lately, is a tantalizing plate of collard greens, crispy, buttermilk-dipped fried chicken, savory yams and a nice hunk of melt-in-your-mouth cornbread--and I ain't talking about Jiffy--at a reasonable price. This and a host of other factors are to blame for the shut down of Diddy's restuarant, 'Justin's in the Flatiron District of New York City.

On Tuesday I reported to you guys that there was a rumor claiming Diddy's Justin's restaurant in NYC had closed its doors. Well, that rumor has been confirmed. Yes, Diddy's restaurant has served its last meal...and yes, the neo-soul eatery has shut its NYC doors. However, according to a spokesperson for the media-mogul, although the building in the Flatiron District is closed, Combs is looking to 'relocate elsewhere in Manhattan.'

"Bad Boy is seeking a larger footprint for the restaurant in the New York City area, as the size and location of the restaurant no longer fit the Justin's brand," an official statement said. "The company sees the larger Justin's Restaurant in Atlanta, which takes up most of a city block, as the prototype for the new New York City location. Bad Boy representatives are evaluating a number of options for a larger space in some of New York City's prime traffic areas."

The restaurant, named after Combs' first-born son and inspired by Combs' grandmother, Jesse Smalls, served its last meal Sept. 24, but will be open for previously booked private functions.
