According to People.com, Academy Award winner Jennifer Hudson is now engaged to her boyfriend of only a few months, David Otunga. Hudson's rep confirmed the engagement to the website saying, "I can confirm that Jennifer got engaged to her boyfriend David on Friday night in L.A." says the rep. Otunga, who is known as "Punk" from the reality show I Love New York 2, popped the question with a Neil Lane diamond ring on the Dreamgirls Oscar winner's 27th birthday. The couple, who have been dating less than a year, both hail from Chicago.Now see, let me tell yall something: this engagement news baffles me. J. Hud dated her boyfriend James for several years and all of a sudden she's engaged to jump the broom to some already washed-up, no-neck-having, lawyer-turned-so-called reality show 'star' who she has only known for a couple of months? I'm not going to even go there with the rumors of ol' dude 'playing for the other team.' She better stop playing. But then again, she is releasing her debut solo album this month....plus her new movie The Secret Life of Bees opens in theaters next month.
However, if this is true, congratulations are in order. I guess..... I just hope she doesn't end up getting 'punked.'

Why he gotta be gay? Or better yet,how in the hell do you know if he's gay? I know for a fact David is not gay.If anything she must've done something right to win his heart. He's a successful lawyer in his own right,and 2 good 4 New York. If you met the man,there would be no way you'll walk away saying he's gay. He's had more women then he could count.As 4 her ex,maybe they just did'nt work out. Her life has changed, and he did'nt want to change with her. CASE CLOSED...DAMN!!!
