Rap mogul Shawn 'Jay-Z" Carter has denied reports he married his longtime girlfriend Beyonce Knowles while on vacation in Paris. The couple was rumored to have wed in a intimate ceremony in the French capital last week, but a representative for Carter insists the allegations are false. A spokesperson tells AllHipHop.com, "They are not married".Earlier this week, an imaginary, unidentified person claiming to be a close friend of the Knowles family told MediaFakeOut.com (who has rotated and circulated this rumor every 6 months for the past two and a half years) the pair celebrated their big day by eschewing traditional wedding rings and getting matching tattoos on their ring fingers instead.
Numerous gossip sites have reported the rumor for months, alleging that the couple has been married in various locations. Beyonce denied the rampant rumors in a high profile feature in Vanity Fair magazine in 2005. In 2006, Jay-Z dismissed a July 2006 rumor that stated the pair tied the knot at Martha’s Vineyard during the July 4th holiday. In December of 2006, the couple dismissed rumors that they jumped the broom at a luxury Caribbean resort.
