The ladies of Blaque (Shamari DeVoe, Natina Reed and Brandi Williams) are back on the grind and working hard to complete their next untitled studio album which will be chronicled in a new reality show tentatively titled, Blaque in the House. After the tragic loss of their original mentor, Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes, the girls are presently under the helm of Lisa's fellow band member (and cousin by marriage) Tionne 'T-Boz' Watkins. We'll witness the ladies as they live with T-Boz while recording their first album in six years. Slated to air this summer, the show will also highlight the group's past separation, coping with the sudden lost of Lopes and their reunion as a group.
In the first set of photos below, you'll see members Brandi and Natina in the recording studio laying down tracks for their new cd; the second set are images of the ladies and T-Boz during their appearance/meet-and-greet at Annie Hoffman's 'Lessons with the Stars' at the Boys & Girls Club in Marietta, Georgia. T-Boz and Blaque spoke to the students about how to improve their self-esteem, knowing when to say no to peer pressure and to never stop believing in yourself and whatever it is you want to do in life. This is something T-Boz knows a lot about. A spokesperson for the Sickle Cell Foundation, T-Boz told the students she was advised by her doctors that she would'nt live past the age of 30; she was also told she could never have children...which is why she considers her 7-year-old daughter Chase as her 'miracle baby.'
