Michael and Janet's father, Joe Jackson allegedly had an affair with Cheryl Terrell 33 years ago, which resulted in the birth of Joh'Vonnie Jackson, according to Britain's Mirror newspaper. The alleged affair reportedly prompted Michael's mother, Katherine, to file for divorce in the mid-70s, but she was later talked out of it by her Jehovah's Witness church. Katherine and Joe have nine children together and Joh'Vonnie was born eight years after their youngest, singer Janet. Joh'Vonnie Jackson, is now 33, lives with Joseph Jackson in Las Vegas and for some time worked at that city's McCarran International Airport.
Joseph Jackson's extramarital affairs, including one with a Motown Records assistant named Gina Sprague, have been detailed in a TV movie about the Jackson family as well as in several books. Joh'Vonnie is not included in Jackson family events and has never visited Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch.Neither Michael nor Janet has ever referred to Joh'Vonnie in any interviews.
